i feel so much sympathy for q!roier, and in many ways, it’s teaching me sympathy for parents. i have seen many parents who have gone down the roier path. will show up because the work needs to be done but aren’t present, or hold their child a little too far away from any comfort.

it’s hard because obviously the eggs are not actually real children and people, but the parents are such accurate analogies at times to real parents. people who have struggled for too long, that don’t know how to give or receive love, that do the job but can’t do it how they once wished they could. i hold a lot of sympathy for roier, and it’s clear he holds none of that for himself. it’s not fair to pepito, but i also hurt for roier who may not believe there’s any other way to be. especially any other way to love meaningfully anymore.

Fit and pac are trying so hard to rationalize why pepito was left out in the open at spawn,, because they can't imagine roier actually not giving a shit about his new kid,, fit's first reaction when he spotted pepito was "pepito doesn't give a fuck, huh" and they joked about calling the fed/child protective services but then pac was like "no, surely this is a joke between roier and pepito" and then they basically built a house around pepito with like household appliances and they were like "yeah you know this is actually such a good spot because it's right by all of these things" like they cannot fathom how broken roier is right now, he is not ready to be a parent again, let alone a single parent to an egg who has 4 other names on the birth certificate who he's convinced will never meet this kid because he's already given up on pepito staying alive

People are getting angry and being horrible about the Pepito admin today because they put his bed in an open place in spawn with a sad sign, and Fit and Pac found it so now Roier is going to "seem like a horrible father" as if he hasn't been awful to Pepito? Just because 07 made Pepito more docile, doesn't mean Roier didn't HORRIBLY mistreat Pepito.

Pepito has been continuously insulted, compared to other people, and nearly killed by Roier for days now and he himself recognizes, to an extent, that he is not being a good father. Pepito not just accepting horrible treatment and others judging Roier for pushing a CHILD to running away and sleeping in dangerous places is the consequences of ROIER'S own actions idk what to tell you.

It's insane, man. Like, Roier is being a horrible father to Pepito. He was a good father to Bobby, Tillin, and Richas. But not to Pepito.

And you know what's worse? People talk like if Roier is forced to take care of that kid, but he isn't. He could always have said that he didn't mean to raise Pepito, and even though Pepito's other parents don't log in, Pepito would've been cared for by the other residents in the meantime. Etoiles said Pepito was his child by just meeting Pepito for a little while, Bagi was the first one to approach Pepito and hug and comfort Pepito when Pepito was scared. Aypierre was babysitting Pepito before Roier logged in and met Pepito.

Roier could've let that kid be loved, and at the same time he wouldn't be forced to raise and love a kid in his worst moments. But he didn't allow it. He was selfish. And now Pepito knows no love.

I hope Pepito finds someone else to take care of him, but because people have too much trust in Roier, it feels like even though Pepito might complain about Roier's parenting people might not believe.
