It was just another casual night in your shared apartment with Alex. The weather seems to be the one with adifference today— It was colder than usual. Of course, the two of you have an effective solution for the problem : cuddling.

So here you are now, all cuddled up warmly in the bed with Alex laying his head down on your lap. It's a rare occurrence for you to be able to look at Alex closely like this, so you make sure that every moment was worth something.

I see you everday, but I'm still so stunned by how pretty you are...

The cheesy thought made your cheeks heat up as you slowly focused your gaze even more at Alex who still has his eyes on the TV.

But something different caught you off guard tonight, though.

His hair... it's so long,

You looked at it in awe, appreciating how pretty and fluffy it looked. And for once in your lifetime, you've never been so tempted to touch something before. You knew is not a big fan of getting his head area touched, but God, this was way too tempting for your self-control.

An attemp won't hurt, right?

"Alex?" You called him out softly

"Yeah?" His gaze moved over to your presence above him.

"Can... Can I..." You stuttered off, knowing that he might refuse and thought that it's weird.

"Can you what, baby?" He smiled gently, still waiting for you to complete your sentence.

"Can I touch your hair?"

There was a silence for a while before you heard a chuckle.

"Go ahead."

You were right, Alex doesn't like it when he gets his hair touched. But if it's you? He doesn't mind giving it a shot.

"Okay... Tell me if you're uncomfortable, okay?" You assured him. He hummed an approving tone as an answer.

Alex thought he was going to hate it. But as soon as you sank your fingers into his hair, it strangely felt...

He wasn't sure, but it sure was a really nice, comfortable feeling.

"Your hair is so soft," You hummed, rubbing his hair gently. His hair was indeed really soft, and you don't think your fingers are going to stop any time soon if he doesn't ask you to.

Only a soft hum left his mouth, his eyelids slowly getting heavier by each stroke on his hair. He tried his best to fight it back, yet he couldn't help but drift himself off to sleep after a few minutes.

As soon as you noticed Alex fell asleep, you couldn't help but let out a giggle.

Seems like he's going to nag you every night to touch his hair now, does he?

You don't mind at all, though.

The month of your finals were near and this time you actually didn't want to end up stressing up like what happened in your last midterms. Like it or not, the only logical solution for this problem is to actually study from months before the exams. The solution was old fashioned, honestly, but you went along with it.

Not wanting to suffer alone with the piled educational books served in front of you, you somehow managed to force your best friend, Dream, to study with you in the school's library. It wasn't that easy, but he gave in faster than you thought he would.

Yes, Dream. You knew him so well. He despise studying, but you can't blame him too much since he really is a true genius. But, it's not that fair if he doesn't have to suffer like the other students, right?

"Can't we just... go home and chill?" Dream groaned out lazily from the behind, trying to catch up with you in the busy hallway.

"Of course not! Exams are coming in a month, don't be so chill about it!" You immediately declined his offer, even though it was tempting.

"C'mon, I could just like— back you up, y'know?" He offered again, but thank God you have such a good self control.

"No, Dream. We're actually going to study." You insisted in a whispering tone, entering the quiet library.

"Fine." He sighed out defeatedly, plopping himself down on a wooden chair next to yours.

"Can I get a hug after this, though?" Dream cockily asked. This kind of flirtatious jokes were normal between the two of you, but you still couldn't stop your cheeks from heating up.

"Maybe, If you actually focused." You whispered out, trying to hide the fact that his words successfully made you red. He only chuckled out a soft giggle as a response.

"Okay, where should we start?" You placed the heavy textbooks down on the table, and started sorting them out neatly.

"I don't know... chemistry?" Dream responded in a bored tone, his fingers fidgeting the black pen he stole from your pencil case.

"You're right, chem is hard... that would be a good start." You sighed out, opening the thick textbook in front of you and started to focus on reading it.

Soon enough, your thoughts were lost in the book, trying it's best to memorize all of the important components in the chemistry textbook.

But something felt odd.

You tried shaking it off several times, but why does it still feels like someone is watching you?

Finally, you moved your gaze away from the printed alphabets in the textbook only to find the sight of Dream, who had his head resting on his hand, lazily staring at you.

"Go read the textbook, dumbass." You couldn't help but feel your cheeks heat up, knowing that he was looking at you this whole time. You've been trying to deny this for months but maybe it's time to accept the fact that you're slowly falling from Dream is actually true.

Not bothered to wait for his response, you immediately went back to reading the chapter, trying your best to not be affected anymore by Dream.

Not even a few minutes into reading the book again, you could still feel the odd feeling of being watched by someone.

God, Is this dumbass still looking at me?

Surprise! You were correct.

He has his arms crossed on top of the table, the said of his head resting on top of his crossed arm, gaze fixated on you. He still didn't budge at all when you caught him staring at you for the second time.

You couldn't lie anymore, why does he have to look so goddamn attractive? You mentally cursed to yourself, trying to keep yourself sane.

"W-Why are you looking at me like that..." You questioned him, cheeks probably burning by now.

Nothing but a chuckle left his mouth, making you a bit annoyed over the lack of answer you were getting.

"What's so funny?" You asked him in a lighthearted matter, still trying to find out the answer behind his weird behaviour.

"You're so cute, don't you know that?"

His words caught you off guard, making your eyes widen in surprise. You didn't even bother to try and cover up your red cheeks anymore at this point.

Did those words really just left his mouth?

"W-What the hell do you mean?"

"Isn't it obvious?" He asked with an eyebrow raised and a smirk plastered on his lips, not believing how naive you were being

"What the hell?"

With a smirk plastered on his lips, he gave you the answer with no doubt.

"I'm in love with you."

no, i don't :( i'm uncomfortable with writing about minors (side characters are ok as long as it doesn't cross the boundaries!) even though it's a platonic fic :(

anything that involves minors, rape, pedophilia, racism, and heavy gore. i'm okay with light gore and a few sensitive topics though, just ask me first!
