hey, this is mar, call me moth here though bc i am going to be analyzing stuff. i use they/them pronouns and im sapphic. back to about analyzing stuff.

like. interpersonal connections, exactly why character A acts that way, exactly why character B doesnt, etc.

my first challenge is homestuck, as in, my first challenge to myself is homestuck. if you think thats something youd like to see, feel free to follow!

first, im going to be clarifying my interpretation of the four homestuck romance quadrants because if i dont do that then theres bound to be some misinterpretations.

then i am going to reread homestuck and make posts either in support of or against ships in all four quadrants. they will be tagged as, for example, ‘pale davegamzee qa’ or ‘red feferinepeta qa’ for easy access. i will not even consider incestuous or pedophilic ships, so there will not be tags for them. the tag of an abusive ship will likely be filled with reasons it would not work out.

the qa is an acronym of this blog, btw.

characters will be treated much the same, but i will not exclude any. their tags will be, for example, ‘lil hal qa’ or ‘davepetasprite qa’. i will not pass judgement on characters individually and simply present possible reasons for their actions. my aim is not to excuse them if what they do is horribly wrong; think of it like that ‘cool motive, still murder’ gif

anyways!!! after that step of rereading homestuck, i will tackle the all-important addition of authorial intent, overarching plot, and possible problems with presentation and the content of homestuck. then im going to tackle a comparison between beforus and alternia, between beta and alpha earth, and then comparing all four worlds. maybe some classpect stuff too.

i know hiveswap is coming out soon. please keep in mind that for now, i am working without any knowledge about it besides that its a game, it exists, and there might be a limeblooded troll in it.
