this song is so...it is honestly one of the kindest songs on his playlist. their playlist is kinda miserable but in a very good way, but this song just gives me so much hope, you know?? it really motivates me and reminds me why Caius has the protagonist syndrome- his stubbornness, his determination, his sheer wonder for the world that keeps him going!! even when things are bleak and he genuinely doesn't believe in himself, his curiosity and wonder help him take one more step, one more peek around the corner- even if he's fucking terrified and quivering and wants to go home and barricade himself in his pantry like its a storm shelter for 6 months
