Appreciating Quake / Skye / Daisy Johnson:

For anyone who hasn’t watched “SHIELD” but wants to…

First of all, something everyone seems to forget, she was the first woman in the MCU to get ACTUAL superpowers since she got them BEFORE Age of Ultron introduced us to the Scarlet Witch.

Although the show started out heavily promoting Coulson (and he’s still in the center of most posters), Skye’s/Daisy’s emotional journey is what really guided the show.

She went from being a solo hacker with no close relationships…

To joining a team of super cool (and one kind of evil) SHIELD agents who would later become her closest friends…

Before becoming a SHIELD agent in training…

Then a full on-SHIELD agent (ironically, after its fall)…

Where she finally discovered who her father was…

Gained superpowers that really messed with her life…

Met her mother…

And after getting both her parents back she ended up losing them both [because they were sociopaths]…

All in all, this character may be my favorite in the MCU and I would love to see her presence only grow (*cough*movies*cough).

I’m just hoping they writers keep up the good work.
