Why My OC Sucks

Rukhana would say this about herself in a self deprecating way, but also be pissed if you said she sucks

1. Impatient

While she loves some feral behavior and a bit of drama, she has no time for anyone's foolishness. Still carrying hurt at being abandoned at birth, she's felt like the only person she could rely on most of her life was herself, and thus has become hyper independent. It's made her incredibly capable, but she assumes in most situations that her plan is the correct course of action and won't hesitate to point out any shortcomings she finds in someone else's strategy or just general actions. It can come off as incredibly blunt, and she's never particularly worried what anyone thinks about that.

2. Emotionally Avoidant

Ruk doesn't easily trust anyone with access to or influence over her emotions. She assumes that everyone will likely let her down or leave at some point, and prefers to keep conversation about herself superficial lest anyone get past her beautifully sculpted emotional walls. Sleep with you? Sure. Talk to you about her childhood or dreams for the future? Absolutely not.

3. Cocky

Her hyper independence has led her to be annoyingly overconfident. Going in to battle? She's sure she'll find a strategy or opening that will put her on the winning side. Trying to rizz up a potential partner for the night? Who wouldn't be dazzled by her completely effortless (and definitely not carefully crafted to distract people from the fact that she never shares about herself or to subvert expectations about what a warrior should look like because she's 100% not salty about not being a mage) looks and charming personality? And if you're not? Well, that sounds like a you problem.

She's a cocky asshole, but she's my cocky asshole and I love her.
