I understand that a lot of nonbinary people use they/them pronouns and that people are really trying to be inclusive, but I really do get tired of every attempt to 'neutralise' language that just creates some kind of portmanteau with 'they/them' + (usually) some feminine term.

Agender people aren't women-lite, not all nonbinary people are agender and not all agender people use they/them.

There's so much discussion to be had on really making language neutral, instead of just turning ladies into theydies or something, but I don't know how to have it because I'm not an expert on linguistics.

I just think they/them portmanteau's being everyone's only attempt to include us feels a bit off. I dunno.
