My favorite thing about Hermitcraft is that all of them have something intrinsically loveable in their videos. Doesn’t matter if you’ve never clicked with a hermit before—if you sit down and give their videos a try, suddenly you’ll find yourself falling down a new hermit’s rabbit hole.

And (not for the first time) I’m sitting here, trying to rack my brain about HOW THEY DO THIS IN SUCH A SPECTRUM OF WAYS, when it hits me.

It’s the heart. The earnestness. It crushes loneliness under its heel, it reaches through the screen and grabs you, it opens you up to wonder and appreciation, and it does all that because all of them put heart into their videos.
