the universal experience of beginning 'pride and prejudice' (2005) with the opinion that matthew macfadyen as mr darcy is perfectly tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt you and ending it bewitched, body and soul.

BLACKADDER complete series
fyi u can find all the episodes of BLACKADDER here (some are in duplicate tho be attentive) :
https://archive.org/details/blackadder-remastered
make yourself a favour and watch it 😊
note: i would recommend you to ignore season 1, because lbh it is the weakest and the less funny one - you can start with it of course, but if you don't enjoy it, PLEASE, don't give up on BLACKADDER. just skip it and watch directly season 2 🐍🖤

I’m so proud every time this picture gets posted on different accounts 🥹
Not only it was forgotten, there’s no footage of him running! With a plastic bag tied around his leg to make it fair for the other dads!

You’re my hero 😍
Requested by @queennsailor
Air date: 8 May 2011 Sir Hubert Parry is simultaneously one of Britain's best-known and least-known composers. Jerusalem is almost a national song, regularly performed at rugby grounds, schools, Women's Institute meetings and the Last Night of the Proms, while Dear Lord and Father of Mankind is one of Britain's best-loved hymns. Everyone knows the tunes, yet hardly anyone knows much about the man who wrote them. In this film, made in 2011 by award-winning director John Bridcut, the then Prince of Wales, a longstanding enthusiast of Parry's work, sets out to discover more about the complex character behind it, with the help of members of Parry's family, scholars and performers. © BBC
