Truthfully dealing with daddy issues seemed like a smaller battle than bad guys in the past, especially since half of their bad guys in their time seemed to be good guys here. "Don't try to distract me with fast food." She narrowed her eyes. "We could talk about my daddy issues too -- my dad's a serial killer on this Earth, and not too long ago at that. This Earth's version of my mom is dead too so there's that." She shrugged.

“If this is your way of saying I need to deal with my daddy issues. I’m not ready for that Q.” Mia wasn’t even ready to speak to her father yet and being stuck in the past with the young version of their parents was not the feel good moment Hallmark would make it sound.

       “Well no, if I was telling you to deal with your daddy issues I would’ve said Mia it’s time to deal with your daddy issues like I’ve said before. But now that you’ve brought it up, it’s definitely time.” Q gave her a look, “you’re never going to be ready so no better time than the present -- or I guess, past?”

  AJ leaned against the bar as he spoke into the phone. He couldn’t help the laugh that left his lips. “Well what do you expect John? He’s your kid. Honestly I am surprised though. Sounds like he really likes this girl. Guess he didn’t get everything from you. Kid knows what he wants. Sticks to just one.” He smirked. “Listen I gotta go. Let me know how things turn out.” He said before hanging up. “Hey…” He said softly seeing Q.

   “You know that kid of John’s pretended to be me for a heist then he fell in love with the girl.” He chuckled.

         Quentin made her way down the stairs, overhearing bits of what AJ was saying to John. She didn’t both to hide the smirk on her face at the call out, and she was a little relieved there was something he didn’t get from John - otherwise that kid was practically a clone. “Hey baby.” She smiled, making her way over and wrapping an arm around AJ’s waist.

          “Well I’m sure he has the know-it-all frat boy act down pretty well.” She smirked. “Of course he did - he was telling me about a girl a while ago. He’s never talked to me about girls before.”
