The drawing in this photo is one of complex content. The colors are appealing which is why I believe the art stands out. When I analyzed the photo deeper it seems that something may be on fire. The hombre of yellow, orange and red looks like fire and the black shadow around looks like smoke. The drawing could also be showing a whole in the building, for example if some had hit the building and exploded. The iridescent pieces around the what looks like fire could be glass from the breaking of the building.

When first approaching this drawing I thought the colors where vibrant. This seems to be a drawing of a dragon or snake of some sort. The possible connotation that can be taken from it is that it may be a cultural representation. In early Mexico is was told that serpents similar to this one were representations spiritual beings and were honor by earlier civilizations. It´s also a very long painting and there are a lot of things going on so you can spend a while appreciating it.

This painting has very bright and striking colors. At first glance it appears to be a painting about shoes. It´s like a shoot of the feet of people passing by from one side of a street to the other because of the, white stripes on the floor (crosswalk).

This painting is a colorful drawing of a coyote. A coyote is a kind of wolf or dog that lives in North and Central America. The drawing contains many figures, patterns and different drawings where the hair should be. It has a pyramid with an eye in the forehead like the Eye of Providence, which usually means that God is watching over all kind man. The colors balance well between cold and warm. Even though the coyote portrays Mexican culture, all the other figures and symbols don´t portray that at all. You can feel like Egyptian, Arabic or Indian culture but not many Mexican.

Rats by Unknown
This street art was found along the street of Felipe Angeles. It shows four rats with bright and contrasting colors, such as green, orange, red and blue, almost resembling the pop art style, it represents a “disgusting” animal with almost certain grace, showing that there’s beauty in everything.

Untitled by Rizen
This street art falls under the category of Wildstyle, in the way the letters are so stylized and deformed it’s hard to sort out the meaning, it’s brightly painted in hot pink, purple and yellow creating a great contrast with the empty sign. It was found in the intersection of Epigmenio Gonzalez street with Zoología. There have been seen a lot more of Rizen’s graffitis along the town.

Snail and Cyclops Stickers by Unknown
These stickers were founds along the Epigmenio Gonzalez street, pasted mainly on the street signs. The stickers are always seen in pair: a snail in black and white and a red Cyclops with large fangs sticking out of its mouth; this could mean they were made by the same author/s. The meaning behind the stickers may be chaos and slowness of our lives.

Author: Samus
In the same wall that we found this piece are other 3 art works but we chose this one because the details of the letters and the hellboy figure in the end are actually fantastic, in the “S” we found the signature of the artist that is Samus and it was made last year. The graffiti shows a lot of details like the stars with shadows, the orange dots that look like scales and in the hellboy figure we can see like steam coming from him and the iconic cigar and jacket of the character.

This painting above a shop along the Invierno street, the owner of the shop told us the mural was painted on 2016 around March by niece of the person that lives next door. We wanted more information about the artist and the meaning behind the piece but we didn’t find the family in home to ask about it. Analyzing the artwork we found some details that are impressive like the snake/dragon skin and the great amount of details, the piece also reflected some spiritualism that could indicate some connection between the both presented characters.

Eagle and deer
Blue-Green colors flowing
This work makes me feel like passing from a world and entering a new one contagious it of all the things that there was before. With the strength of the eagle and the weakness of the deer at the same time. Knowing new things.

This piece of art represents wisdom and intelligence thanks to geometric figures, where the colors and contrasts of these help represent the life and earth. The eagle and the lion represent the strength from a perspective of control and skill.

This mural has a sense of nostalgia that reminds us of ancient cultures and of mystery because of the colors and the magic that is painted.
This mural represents a more mystical way about things because it represents a man floating, while doing magic. The colors observed in this mural represent sad or mysterious tones, since they are obscure, by the style of the design it is possible to be observed that it is an ancient time since it remembers to the old pre hispanic rituals where they went to the magic to solve its conflicts, Which is seen in the way the character is dressed we can deduce the date in which it is.
