Lucille being Jedidiah’s mother is a weird subject for all the campers; some of them know and think it’s public knowledge, some of them know but think it’s a massive secret, some campers have suspicions and some don’t know at all.

There is absolutely no consistency. Not among cabins, age groups, friend groups. Everyone stands completely differently over whether they A) know they’re related and B) think it’s a secret.

There’s also at least one camper who thinks their relationship is public knowledge but ALSO thinks that they secretly AREN’T related

The kids who think it’s a secret treat it like when you were in elementary school and learned a teachers first name
