Yesterday I got to join a campaign and play in my first session with them.

I love my girl so much.

Lately I've been obsessed with domestic scenes from my various DND games, particular Lili's family & childhood. Here she's featured with her mother, and her uncle Bear, as they share a bedtime story.

It's especially fun to draw Bear, ngl. Really takes me back to my furry art days, plus it's fantastic having dragonborn in the game who are more diverse than the typically reptilian ones.

I was leaning "Keen Mind," but my poor ruined Gnome Wizard only knows Common, Gnomish, and one other language.

So I guess my cunning girl's gotta be a linguist...

But this will give her 18 int. (standard array, so started at 15). So +4 modifier.

She is a Chronurgy mage, so she has Temporal Awareness, meaning that whole Int bonus is added to initiative rolls.

She is Ruined with Alert as her Still Standing feat. That gives her a +5 to Initiative.

With her +1 Dex...

Girl's got a +10 on initiative.

(I'm coming into an existing game and joining them at lvl 5... this is not a broken lvl 1 girl)

Wait a minute, in the manga, it's made clear that Beryl and the Shitennou were reincarnated and in the manga we even see a panel of the reincarnated Beryl in the arctic discovering Metalia. Makes you wonder what their lives were like (or what their new names were) before Beryl found Metalia and looked for the Shitennou's reincarnations.

Yeah, it's sad to think about. They were probably living ordinary lives before Metalia brainwashed them. I have to think they left behind family and friends who were left wondering what happened to them and grieving them. That's definitely some good fanfic material!
