Hello, I was wondering what the inspiration for Tyren was? Like what made you to design him as the major or at least one of the biggest antagonists in your story?

Appearance wise: He's supposed to be the 'default dog follower', Dog because of the loyalty, and default because he's supposed to be forgettable. Very basic, very unassuming and generic. This is on purpose. Sometimes the worst people really are Just Some Guy.

For his character: he's supposed to be an example of the negative aspects of idolization and how it can be very harmful, objectifying and how a lot of gestures that are glorified as appealing are actually incredibly dehumanizing.

I've been on the idolization/object of obsession end of the deal and its awful, so his behavior carries a lot of those experiences of mine.

He's not supposed to be a 'love rival', he would still be a problem if the main ship didn't exist. His character is meant to showcase the horror of idolization and obsession and how it's usually ignored or even romanticized until it's too late.

I thought it would be fun to give the Lamb a problem follower that they (1) wouldn't suspect and (2) cant deal with normally like how they can with a dissenter, because he's technically not dissenting, but his actions will rip apart the cult from the inside out.
