                Taemin didn’t USUALLY find himself up at such an early hour, but the little sleep he did manage that night had been fitful ; with him tossing and turning in his sheets until finally giving up at around 4. It was then that he decided to shuffle out of bed and head towards the garden. He wasn’t entirely certain what constantly pulled him towards the direction of the greenhouse, but the nostalgic sort of comfort the sight of the various plants offered him lead him to believe that he might’ve once held a scared memory in a similar setting. The boy lets himself sink further inside his oversized hoodie the moment he steps into the enclosed area, wind pushing his blonde hair further across his forehead and momentarily blocking his vision. As his fingers push the strands away, the sound of another suddenly piques his interest. “Who’s there?” The tone of his voice is more curious than anything, gaze peeking through nearby leaves and shrubs in order to locate the sound. “Quinn?” The curiosity slowly slides into something just short of concern as he notices the other fiddling with her bracelet : what was she doing? “Couldn’t sleep. What—” he pauses, head briefly quirking over his shoulder as if to check and see if anyone was coming. “—What are you doing with your bracelet?”

to lie or not to lie? that was the question. she doubted taemin would rat her out but the braceletes were the one thing e.v.e. seemed to be overly protective about. in the end, she failed to find a reason not to tell him. “just messing with this bracelete,” but once she said that, she began to panic and eventually got ahead of herself, “i mean, i have mystechnologyis they probably expect me to play around with this. it’s not like they said i couldn’t play with it.”

as usual, quinncy was up at the ungodly hour of four thirty in the morning. she never understood why she couldn’t sleep for more than an hour but she would always wake up feeling anxious if she slept more than two hours. she found herself sitting in a secluded part of the garden that she happened to stumble upon a few days ago. she laid on the grass, looking at the starry sky and let out a simple sigh. since she had nothing better to do, she took out the tool kit she stole from one of the e.v.e. workers and began fidgeting with the bracelet on her wrist. one: because it was the closest electronic to her. and two: she didn’t like the fact that her powers were being dulled down. out of the blue she felt an uneasy feeling and looked up to see someone watching her. she panicked before realizing it was just taemin and not a worker. “dude, you scared the fuck out of me. what are you doing up so late, anyways?”

to put it simply: quinncy was bored and there was only so much to do at the facility. unfortunately, she found it difficult walking around the same garden ten times in a row. she even tried reading a book but had trouble finishing half of it until she grew tired of it. “ugh, why can’t someone just read this to me instead?” she muttered to herself. she threw her head on the table in front of her dramatically and sighed. usually she when she gets in this state, she would simply sulk while her head stayed attacked to the table but now she had a friend to distract her. it was easy for her to find bokyung and she put her arm on his shoulder that was closest to her. “hey, i’m bored. let’s do something.”

hello!! i’m jinyi or lauren (i’m good w/ both tbh) i just got back from work so i’m v late with the intro. i’m also about to read everyone else’s intro!!

— -. JENNIE KIM. CIS FEMALE. If you thought there was something peculiar about QUINNCY NAM, it’s probably because of their GREEN EYES. Or maybe it’s because the TWENTY year old possesses the peculiarity of MYSTECHNOLOGY. That could explain why he/she/they was/were once on the run. Before the mind wipe, they were known for being ADVENTUROUS and IMAGINATIVE, but now they’re IMPULSIVE and FRIVOLOUS.

so quinncy is kind of a mess personality wise bc she has no consistency in how she acts but she's normally v  chill. mystechology is the power of combining magic and technology. with her full abilityes she can create a bunch of different devices and she can create technological parts that aren’t invented yet. she’s created robots but they only work when she's conscious (with the exception of the artificial intelligence devices but that requires the help of lightning to make).  with her powers dulled she still makes different devices but she can’t create parts that aren’t invented yet so she’s limited to what she can make. oh and she can also hack into anything!!

she’s definitely frustrated bc she still has all these ideas of what she wants to make because she’s missing crucial parts in order to create them.

i actually don’t know how i’m going to play her with her memory gone ajowierjwe. mbe harsher?? since she isn’t as attached to everyone anymore she won’t care abt them?? i’lll probs go with that?? i’m a mess tho,,like i’m binge watching my name is earl rn. fun fact: i got my parents and sister obsessed with the show too loool.

thoughts on e.v.e: she doens’t hate them but she’s sus?? only bc she can’t use their computers/technology so she’s just salty tbh. she doesn’t see them as a threat or anything tho

              A quiet giggle soon escapes in response to the spoonful offered to him, dutifully parting his lips in order to take a bit of the treat. “Mmmm,” his head nods his agreement to Quinn’s statement, hand positioned over his mouth politely as he finished chewing. “That’s really good,” he all but beams, mood seemingly lifted in those few seconds— chocolate really does make everything better. His shoulders visibly relax somewhat, knowing that Emerson likely wouldn’t be upset with him HAD he actually missed curfew— especially given the number of instances she had let slip by with the others in the past. “True. But I s’pose it’s always better to be safe than sorry.”

“i know, right? i'm ready to give whoever made it up my soul.” she brought out an extra utensil and slid the container closer to taemin, “eat as much as you want, we have plenty of pie to go around.” she playfully rolled  her eyes as he expressed his worry. “if it helps, she’s caught me come in late way more than you and i’m still in one piece.”

              A slightly bored gaze lifts up from where it was previously trained on the book situated in his grasp, landing with interest on Quinncy at her suggestion. “Depends…” he shrugs his response, letting the novel close with a snap. “What’d you have in mind?”

“that book close was dramatic as fuck,” she chuckled, giving an approving nod, “honestly, we’ll probably have to go to a different city cause there are only museums here.”
