HORUS - Dullahan
An artillery plattform that deploys you, the pilot, as a striker to flush enemies out of cover
[DISCLAIMER: This is a fundamentally risky and experimental license. By placing your pilot on the field as an active combatant, you are implicitly forgoing the usual plot-protection afforded to pilot, and are in agreement with the GM that your pilot is now fair game and death is a real possibility. Pilot the Dullahan with this in mind, or come up with an agreement that works for your table before deploying.]

by far, from a GM's perspective, the funniest enemy to use on your players in Lancer is a Grunt Aegis.
I probably sound crazy there, yeah? but think about it. put yourself in the position of running a game where your players maybe know a fair amount about Lancer, but don't have all that much experience actually playing it.
so, your players have something of an understanding about target prioritization, but not the advanced bits of it, so they're ALWAYS going to underestimate grunts.
throw in a few Grunt Aegis units, watch your players ignore them for a bit. have the Grunt Aegis units deploy their Defense Nets and watch your players' overconfidence shatter as suddenly it's obnoxious to try and hit anything, and the only thing that will work is going against their ape brain ideals of not targeting grunts with the limited or loading weapons because they're the only things they brought that can actually hit the stupid things.
it's worth the laugh and also actually teaches your players a valuable lesson in game sense, which makes them better players too.
