Please note that we are using airtable, so you will not get a confirmation email that we have received your application. If you’d like to double check, you can send us an ask (off anonymous so that we can answer you), send an email, or get a hold of us on instagram or twitter!

Katt Bang Artist Sign-Ups OPEN!

Artist Sign-Ups will run from August 15th - September 15th!

Artist Requirements

Each artist is to complete one (1) fully colored piece that corresponds with their writer’s work. You may use any medium for your artwork (traditional, digital, etc) - just be sure that whatever you choose to do can be completed within the time that you have. Artists are allowed to claim more than one fiction in the case that we are low on participants; you may also create more than one piece for a story if you and the writer so choose.

1,000 word minimum for writers with no maximum as long as the piece is complete

It’s getting to be that time of year again to start planning for a Secret Santa exchange! For this VLD exchange, all pairings, or gen, are welcomed.

If you pop over to our blog, you’ll see a link for both the Participant Survey and the Mod Application, as links will hide posts here on Tumblr. (Sorry to give you an extra step here, but I want to make sure people see this.)

The current schedule is:

Mod Applications open - August 4th - 31st 

Exchange Applications open - August 4th - September 21st 

Pairings mailed out - October 5th - 12th 

First Check-In - November 9th 

Second Check-In - December 7th 

Posting - December 25th - January 6th

Minimum requirements for gifts are:

Fanart - One completed drawing (what you would consider as “finished” when posting)

Fanfiction - 1K+ words

Icons - 4+ icons

Edits/GIFs - 4+ panels

Fan Mixes - 16+ songs or 1 hour of content

Aesthetic - 2+ boards

Once you fill out a participant application, you will be given a link to our Discord server if you wish to join.

Calling all makers/crafters of the Voltron fandom!

This is an interest check for the possibility of a Voltron zine centered around the makers and crafters of the fandom. There are so many awesome zine projects out there featuring the talented artists and writers of our fandom, but often forgotten are the crafty inclined! We have so much talent and variety in this fandom that falls outside writing and illustrative arts and this zine is to give those creators a chance to shine!

Mod Applications are now open!

Hey all sorry this took so long to put up, but I want to move this along and make this zine a reality! To apply, please click the link provided below! The application will remain open for 3 weeks until June 17th @ 11:59pm EST (or longer if needed).

Below are the positions I am looking for:

Social Media Mod (1-2): Someone to help with updates about the zine across all of the zines respective social media (Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram) 

Finance Mod (1) Someone to help with the finance aspect of the zine (ex: gathering of funds, pricing of zines and merch, sending funds to charity upon completion of zine sales)

Shipping Mod (1-2): Someone to help with shipping out zines and merch once all zine materials are received and approved.

Beta Reading Mod(1-2): Someone to help with going over writers works during check-ins and final pieces for the zine

Formatting Mod (1-2): Someone who will be able to format the zine into a pdf and physical form as well as any needed graphics for the zine.

Graphics Mod (1): Someone who is willing to create graphics for the zines social media pages such as headers, banners and icons.

General Mod (2-3): Someone to help with general going ons of the zine such as answering asks that can potentially step in or help for other positions if needed.

Production Mod (1-2): Someone to help with the production of the zine and merch.

I personally will be running the social media and beta reading. 

Once applications are in, I will make decisions and send acceptance/rejection letters via e-mail (or other form of preferred communication).

It’s filled to the brim with incredible content to water our favorite garden, plus all proceeds will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation!
