Lee Joon Gi’s kissing habit (?)

I noticed this after 2 months continuously watching his dramas and movies (yes I’m a new fan). In most kiss scenes, he puts his hands on his partners’ face like this: his thumb on her cheek and the rest of fingers behind her ear. Here are the proof, presented in time order:

What do you think? Do you agree that it’s a habit or do you think everyone does that? I have checked some kiss scenes of other actors but not all of them do so. They may put their hand on their partners’ waist or behind their neck, or don’t even use their hands at all (in that case, their partners will do). 

These are only photos I was bothered to search. I bet there are some more. I will add to this post if I go across one :)
