Why are Daemon and Daeron together in this leaked scene? The fuck is this???

This show is completely off rails.... Daemon is nicely meeting with his nephews instead of killing them... They're whitewashing him again. And this scene probably exists just because they needed to give Daemon something to do to justify his 2 hours screen time. I hate this dumb show
Yeah, all that, I guess. The saddest thing is that I can't stop caring about this dumb show. I hate almost every part of it, and I know it's only going to get worse, but I still get angry every time.

Seems like Daemon is patronizing Daeron here, to me at least.
Daemon's been sent by a politically inept Rhaenyra to urge Daeron to bow or perish. In what appears to be an echo to Daemon's scene with Oscar Tully in s2, Daeron accepts to negotiate, whatever that might entail.
But because we know Hugh and Ulf will be sent to Tumbleton in the finale, it's clear that Daeron rejected Rhaenyra's proposal for peace.
Note: Daemon is literally the physical reminder for what befell Jaehaerys, and the pain that Aegon and Helaena are undergoing. Even though Daemon thinks he's 'sorry' for what he did, why the hell would the Blacks expect Daeron would take kindly to the murderer of Jaehaerys in the end?

There is a non zero percent chance that Rhaena will take Nettlesβ name.
There is a non zero percent chance that Ryan Condal claims they didnβt replace Nettles with Rhaena but βexpandedβ on the rumor she was Daemonβs kid.
There is a non zero percent chance that Rhaena will say βRhaena burned in the dragon fire, father. All that is left is Nettlesβ

It was incredible. It's basically a huge carnival. A real, operating real-time carnival. Actual tightrope walkers and street merchants. And what's wonderful is, you know, all the background artists and all the other supporting artists around, everyone's in their own world. And Miguel's made a point of going up to everyone and giving them things to do. So everyone feels immersed in the takes that we're doing, and everyone's got their own little stories. So yeah, it's like being in another world. β Ryan Corr in "The House that Dragons Built" behind the scenes for 'King Of The Narrow Sea'

Since we still have no Daeron casting, but filming starts quite soon, I've found and quickly coloured an experimental sketch of Daeron, who looks more like his motherπ

Without Nettles, Timett son of Timett wouldn't have existed.
Last appearance of Nettles :

(Source : Fire and Blood)
Now these people who revered Nettles were called 'Painted Dogs'. This tribe had an offshoot called 'Burned Men' and we know that Timett son of Timett was the leader of the 'Burned Men'.
Have a look at another picture which is a screenshot of the Asoiaf wiki :

If Nettles did not exist, the 'Burned Men' would never have that coming of age ceremony and certainly wouldn't get their name. But they form a significant part of the main Asoiaf series. Also, they were included in the show.
Ryan Condal does not understand that HotD is a prequel of GOT. People expect to see a 'prequel' and also improvements in certain areas in which the GOT failed. People don't want to watch his fanfiction. If we needed fanfiction we would go to AO3, Wattpad and Tumblr.
Again, Nettles plays a very important role in the Dance of Dragons. Her closeness with Daemon drove Rhaenyra further into madness and caused Daemon to sacrifice himself in order to kill Aemond. Daemon was originally planning to do things strategically. But once he realised that things have gone too far and there is no going back, he went on a suicide mission.
The presence of Nettles would also prove that Rhaenyra's judgement isn't good enough and she makes several errors after taking the King's Landing which eventually lead to her downfall. But the show runners don't want us to think that Rhaenyra is an idiot. However, I am surprised that they let go of a chance to make Daemon an adulterous man and portray Rhaenyra as a lonely wife who is betrayed by everyone including her beloved husband.
Anyways, I am still hoping that I am wrong and my fears are meaningless. I am still hoping to see Nettles on the show.

BIG RHAENA CHANGE!

This is a comedy to me. They should've just cast Nettles instead of whatever this is! π

instead of letting a character be the feminine princess who is still badass in the book you chopped off her fucking hair and combine her with another black character you couldnβt bother to cast and show respect to
gods forbid black characters and black actors get shown any sort of care or grace that is given so freely to everyone fucking else.
mind you cutting off a black womanβs hair has a completely different connotations than it does for a white woman, it can be freeing or coming into one self when done with intentionality and proper characterization but we all know thatβs not being done for Rhaena and this is why YOU NEED BLACK WRITERS
and I know a cut/burned loc wig is not gonna look right phoebe get behind me
THIS BETTER JUST BE A RUMOR

So it looks like they did in fact give Rhaena Nettlesβ character arc to avoid putting her in the showβ¦Merging two Black characters, one who is canonically Black and the other who was made Black in the show, is not ok. Even if Rhaena and Nettles both were canonically Black it still would never be ok, especially when both characters already have interesting stories. It makes it look like the writers are saying these two characters are interchangeable and theyβre simply not. Like Ryan and that lady are not seeing heaven. If I was GRRM Iβd force HBO to make everything over with better writers who actually know and care about my story and characters. Cuz what about Rhaena essentially saving the dragons by having Morningstar? What about Nettles challenging what it means to have the blood of the dragon? What happens to all of that? These people are stupid, biased, and writing fanfiction at this point.
