Flashback #8 part 2
After a quick nap, Rosalina would flutter her eyes open. She noticed that she had fallen asleep in her seat. "Mom..?" she had appeared to be dazed, and have forgotten where she was. Rosalina would rub her eyes to clear her vision. "Oh.., right.." she sighed dishearteningly, before a strange man approached her. "Hello, how may I serve you?" the person spoke calmly, although despite him speaking, he seems to lack any facial features. Which in turn catches Rosa by complete surprise, warranting her to scream in fear! Taken back, the faceless entity would reassure her. "Be not afraid!, I have no intention of harming you." Rosalina took a good look at the entity, noticing its uniform were that of a waiter. "O-..Oh, I am sorry, sir.." The entity laughed "Worry not, dear. I understand our appearance might look disturbing to some." it reassured "'Our'? is there more of you?" Rosalina asked with a hint of curiosity. "Why, yes. However, be weary of the children. They tend to be rather.. Mischievous.." Rosa nodded. "Now, is there anything you would like for me to get you?" the entity asked, once more. "Um..." Rosalina hesitated for a moment. "Can I get a cheeseburger, please?" "Alright, do you want a drink with that?" Rosa nodded. "I'll have a milkshake, please :3" "Okay, I'll be right with you." the entity would turn around and walk towards the bar, walk through a door! Rosa would settle back into her seat, waiting patiently for the food to arrive. After just a few minutes, the creature would return with the food. "There you go, ma'am." It would place the plate containing the burger, and the strawberry milkshake mug, right on the table. "Thank you!" Rosa would look through her bag. "How much is all of that, sir?" "There's no need to pay us for anything you consume or take from here." the waiter waved his hand. "O-..Oh.., why not?" asked, in a confused manner. "Well, the food here replenishes itself. There is a reason why your kind calls this place 'The Snackrooms' after all." "The Snackrooms, huh..?" Rosa seemed amused by the naming choice. "I suppose it makes sense!, thanks again, Mister!" "No problem, dear. I will be heading back to the bar, if you need anything, just call for me." and with that the entity left Rosalina to enjoy her food in peace. . . . { A few minutes later } A thud could be heard. Rosalina would stand up from her seat and decided to go investigate what the source of the noise was. She saw what appeared to be some sort of a painting on the floor.

"Where did that come from?" Rosalina stared at the painting with a mix of curiosity and confusion. She would reach down to grab the painting, but her hands seemed to glitch right through it, which in turn pulled her straight into it. "AAAAHH!!!!" . . . Rosalina would feel her body touch what felt like the ground, oddly lightly. She would open her eyes quickly, just to see pure darkness where the ceiling should be, she would sit up, her eyes darting around. "Where-.."

"...Am I on.." Rosa would attempt to sit up and move, but the low amount of gravity would disorient her. "W-.. Woah!" thud! "Ow.." Rosalina would help herself up onto her knees before looking over at the distance. Something interesting has caught her eyes. ". . .It can't be"

"No..."

Flashback #8 part 1
It already has been over a week since Rosalina has entered this level. Although it was quite a sleepless week, she had managed to rest enough for her wounds to heal. Rosalina rose from the couch, huffing and puffing. The exhaustion was apparent, for she had dark spots around her eyes. Her eyeballs were becoming increasingly redder from the lack of sleep. "MmMmMmhHhHh...." She would gently rest her face into her palms, gently grinding them against "This sucks.." Rosalina would stumble onto her feet, walking over to the window of the building she is taking shelter in, staring out of it. "An infinite city, huh?"

"Or that's what I heard.." Rosalina would take in the surreal view of the seemingly endless jungle of various sized buildings. "What a unique and strange place, this is." she would huff softly. Rosalina would wake away from the window back towards the couch, before picking her backpack up. "I'd stay here, this place is quite spacious! If it weren't for the fact that the only piece of furniture that this place has is this couch." Rosalina looked quite displeased and droopy, her movement essentially looked like a zombie walking. "Good thing there's an elevator to this place, though" She made her way to the elevator before calling it. . . . . . . . . . "Damn!, why is it taking so fricking long??" . . . . . . Sigh... "This is boring." Ding! The elevator would finally reach her floor, the door would slide open, allowing her to enter. With the press of a button, the elevator door closes and it starts descending. After a while, the elevator would come to a step, allowing Rosalina to exit it. She would make her way out of the elevator, and out of the building, back into the streets of the seemingly empty city. After walking for a long time, she eventually stumbled upon something on the pavement, upon closer inspection it looked to be a broken... drone?

Rosalina would pick it up in her hands "Huh.. how did that get here?" She would inspect the drone's damages closely "It seems to have minor damage to it, besides missing an arm and the propellers." she would pack the drone with its broken parts into the backpack. "That could prove to be useful later." Rosalina would zip her bag, before continuing on to moving forwards. Much of the city looked rather similar to one another, however something did catch her eye.

It was a restaurant! Intrigued, she'd walk to the door, pushing it open before entering.

"Woaaahhh!!" the sense of easiness would overtake her body as she explored around the room she was in. There were all kinds of vending machines and snacks around the room, Rosalina found herself walking to a vending machine and ordering a bag of chips, which oddly enough required no money whatsoever. Rosalina took her newfound snack and went over to a table and taking a seat at it. She found herself leaning back against the comfortable seat, with her eyes slowly drifting into a brief slumber..

Flashback #7
The cool air of the neighborhood would send shivers across her soaked body. She'd breathe through her teeth, "Ooughhh cold!! coooldd!!" Rosalina looked around to find herself in the middle of the road, after a glance around at her surroundings she noticed a couple of houses, one of which had some dim lighting outside of it

"Creepy..." Rosalina commented, before she was forced to make her way towards it. She'd reach the down and grasp onto the knob, twisting it "I hate the idea of just going to a random house that could have GOD knows what in it, but I don't wanna be getting sick cause of that dumb ocean!" Rosalina exclaimed before she pushed the door open, and entering the house. Rosalina sighed before shutting the door behind her. "haahh... this is so uncomfortable, but there is no way in hell I am taking my clothes off, though. They're all I have!" Rosalina shook her head in annoyance, as she made her way around the house. She'd explore it room by room, making sure it's all clear before she just crashed onto the bedroom's bed, for which she instantly fell asleep. . . . After a few hours, Rosalina rose from the bed. Yawning and stretching. She'd look outside the window. "Ehh??, how is it still nighttime? I swear, I slept like a baby tonight!" Rosalina looked rather puzzled. She would get off the bed, making her way downstairs. Rosalina would reach into her bag, pulling out an Almond Water bottle. "I can't believe I had to rely on just Almond Water for food.. but I am grateful that the gods of this hellscape decided to at least give me something!" She paused for a moment, before twisting the cap taking a sip from the bottle, and putting the cap back on "Well, I've had my rest. I am ready to move on..." Rosalina walked to the front door, but she paused for a moment, taking a deep breath.. she'd gather all the courage she needed to open up the door and get out. . . . The door would slowly swing open, with a squeak. Rosalina would shut the door behind her as she speed-walked out the house, onto the sidewalk. As she walked, she saw a glance of a familiar glowing face, which caused her strides to increase in speed. But those smiling bastards weren't her only worry, for she could hear the sound of running behind her. She'd turn around to see some fleshy-looking beasts and what looked like those gigantic moths, as well! Rosalina would yelp, and immediately began running for her life. She quickly found herself trailing off the sidewalk into the middle of the road, she'd turn her head to see behind her, just to notice that the beasts remain on her tail. However, in doing that, she failed to see something that was also walking by in the middle of the streets, which caused her to collide into it. It felt rather fleshy.. Rosalina stumbled backwards, almost losing her balance, before looking back forwards to see what she had rammed into. . .

But was met with a gigantic human eyeball with fleshy tentacles coming out of it, which are used as its limbs. Rosalina watched in horror as the creature slowly moved its eye to stare directly at her. However, it just stood there, its eye looked all over her as if it was scanning her. Rosalina felt like as if she was losing all balance, and she'd evidently fall on her knees, she was shaken up. ". . ." ". . . ." ". . . . . " But the creature did not attack.. it instead held onto her, helping her back on her feet, she watched it as it walked over her and continued it's through with its path on the road. Interestingly enough, all entities that were once chasing her seemed to have retreated, they must have some sort of fear for this thing. Quickly regaining her senses, Rosalina wasted no time and started sprinting in one direction. Eventually, she'd run across arrow street signs. In which she follows as quick as she could After miles of walking, she would find herself randomly teleported somewhere completely different...

Flashback #6 part 3 cause word limits are dumb
???: "Huh?, But you're very hurt!. At least sleep!" Rosalina: "N-.. No, I'm good.. I'd much rather not be in a sub, it makes me uncomfortable" ???: ". . ." The crewman sighed "Fine, follow me" The crewman would lead her to the hatch for the sub "Keep in mind, leaving here will lead you back to that ocean" Rosalina: ". . ." ???: "However, there are multiple ways you could exit that hellhole, which will be on this note that I will be giving you." She'd offer her a piece of paper which had a map, and a description of each exit "Godspeed, little one." he paused for a moment "Though before you leave.." Rosalina: "Huh..?" Rosalina looked puzzled ???: "I feel like it would be appropriate if I gave you a scuba-gear" The crewman offered Rosalina: "Woaahhh!!!! I get to scuba-dive?!?!??!?! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! pleeeassseee!!!" ???: "Woah, haha!! calm down lil girl, here let me go getcha set!" The crewman chuckled, he found her excitement for diving quite heartwarming, despite the imminent danger of the level. The man would return with a scuba-gear that seemed to be her size! he would hand it over to her and waved his goodbyes Rosalina would put on her scuba-gear and proceed to open the hatch, returning to the very place she almost got devoured in. "Alright, so I breathe from my mouth right?" she asked herself in her own thoughts, as she paddled through the water swimming up to the surface. "Right... looking at the map that is getting increasingly wet, my best shot is that one 150 miles away.. welp, I might not live doing this.. But I am not particularly interested in going into a dangerous cave!" Rosa put the goggles back on, and the breathing tube back and began diving. . . . After a while of diving and sneaking around as much as possible, Rosalina would find a series of underwater pipes and stone pillars in a circular formation. In the middle of this odd formation there was a wooden door, which she dove right towards. About halfway to reaching said door, however, a spear would barely miss Rosalina, and would fly inches from her body, hitting one of the pillars behind her. Rosalina would stare at the direction where the spear came from, just to see a humanoid figure swimming at her with an ungodly speed, it was wearing what looked to be a strange fish's hide, and it was quite large! AND WAS B-LING RIGHT TOWARDS HER! Panicked, she'd dive as fast as she could towards the wooden door. The creature was closing the distance quite quickly. Rosalina would reach to the doorknob, twisting it and opening the door, But was interrupted by the sound of thrashing behind her as the creature rammed right into her, which thankfully knocked her back through the door! . . . Splat! she had fallen quite some distance onto what felt like asphalt? "Oughhh!!, what's with me and getting hurt!!" She got up and looked around, she seemed to be in the middle of some sorta road.

"Now where the hell am I?"

Flashback #6 part 2 cause word limits are dumb
And there it was, a monstrous sea creature swimming at her full speed.
It looked like it could swallow anyone in one bite.. terrified she froze in place staring at her approaching demise..
. . .She slowly felt her mind slowly drifting away, her vision becoming blurry and dark, she found herself losing consciousness.
Closing her eyes, she'd accept her fate.. but in the midst of that, her mind would go blank..
She had fallen unconscious.
. . .
A faint sound of metallic rumbling could be as Rosalina slowly opened her eyes back up…
Her eyelids would swing open, sitting up and coughing profusely. Some of the water stored up in her lungs would be coughed out onto the ground. "Haaah… haaah… haaah…" Rosalina would scan her surroundings, she seemed to have been brought onto.. a submarine?
She weakly got up onto her feet, using the beds as support she'd limp through outside the Berth.
The interior of the sub looked all too similar to each other, however they all seem to have one odd design to them.
"Are those windows?, wouldn't that create a weak point in the hull of the Submarine, affecting how deep it could go in the process?" Rosalina looked rather puzzled as she approached one of the windows, looking out of it "Odd design choice... although I have to admit, it is quite a beautiful sight.." Rosalina would wrap her arms around her waist, grunting in pain "Owww... my everything hurts, Maybe I could find something to help with that here.." She would continue making her way through the sub, she would turn a corner accidentally bumping into one of the many staff members, which caused her to jump back in fear ???: "Woah!, sorry!! Didn't see ya there" Rosalina: Huff.. "You're good, I-I didn't expect to run into anyone here.." ???: "You looked roughed up" the crewman leaned down to inspect the wounds "What happened?" Rosalina: "A lot.." ???: "Here let me help you!" He'd offer his hand Rosalina: ". . ." She'd hesitantly take it, and he'd begin leading her to a chair in which he attends to her wounds ???: "There!, I've added some stuff that could help with the healing process" Rosalina: "..Thank you" ???: "No problem, though I assume you got here cause you passed out under the water of level 7?" Rosalina: "H-..Huh?, oh.. yeah, I did pass out. Though there was that big monster that tried to eat me, I wonder how I lived!" Rosalina looked rather confused, however the crewman reassured her. ???: "Passing out under the water teleports you here, so in a sense, you passing out saved your life." Rosalina: "Oh.. um!, well uh.. I wanna get out of here."

Flashbacks #6 part 1
"Uggghhh!!!" Rosalina groaned, displeased "just what I wanted, for my uniform to get uncomfortably wet!"
"What happened here anyway?" her eyes would dart around this odd new place, scanning it thoroughly.
"And what the hell is wrong with the gravity!" She exclaimed in a confused manner
After a bit of struggle in the waterlogged room, she came across the front door.
She'd open the door just to be met with ocean in her face, before she felt the center of gravity pulling her down into the water.
She'd hold onto the door knob, she was now dangling from the door
"Heeeh!!… heeeh!!!" Rosalina would breathe heavily "Did-.. did gravity just flip on me??" Rosa felt her grip loosening on the door "Noooo!! stop, I don't wanna fall in! I don't know how to swim!"
Her grip would finally give up on her, allowing her to fall 'upwards' towards the ocean.
"WHAT THE FU-…" Splash!!
. . .
Rosalina would slowly open her eyes before noticing that she's under the ocean waters.
She'd splash frantically in the water, fighting her way through the tides to try and get to the surface.
"Mmm!!!… MMM!!!" Feeling panicked, and her oxygen running out, she feels like she is about to drown!
Adrenaline would kick in allowing her to swim faster, finally breaking the surface of the water, she'd gasp for air!
"Haah… haah…" Rosalina pants profusely "Man…" she scanned her surroundings…

"Where am I?"
Rosalina found herself in the middle of an ocean, any attempts of her to look around have been compromised by the fog filling the air up.
"There's no way in hell I can just swim forwards.." Rosalina sighed "I am so dead.."
...
"Unless I have to dive down there..." Rosalina frowned
"I don't have a choice, do I?... oh well.." she took a deep breath "here goes nothing!" Rosalina would dive under the water
"Creepy.." she thought as she dove deeper into the water
After a bit of diving, she found herself in the twilight zone. The pressure was heavy, but it wasn't crushing.
"Are those... bones?" Rosalina questioned in her mind, as she saw different types of bones all different sizes
Rosalina's pace slowed to a stop as she bumped into a whole skeleton. She froze in place, her eyes widening.
She'd panic, swimming further down as fast as she could, she notices the light slowly fading away.
The surrounding ocean would become darker... more bones and skeletal structures would make themselves known.
She'd bump into more bones as she swam past them, but due to her speed she'd get some bruises and cuts, which adds onto her injuries even more.
Swimming past the humanoid bones and large unnatural fish bones, which she largely ignored.
However, as she made her way through the midnight zone into the Abyss, something caught her attention.
Was that..? No! It can't be movement, Panic would once again overtake her body, as she attempted to swim back up but was interrupted with the sound of thrashing behind her.

Lurking in the shadows
Rosalina found herself in a dimly lit room with a two doorless doorways leading to extremely dark rooms, and an extremely dark hallway on her right.

Rosalina attempted to speak to herself, but to her surprise, no sound came out. "What the hell happened to my voice?!" she thought to herself. She would pull out her flashlight and flick it on in an attempt to turn it on, but nothing happened.. the flashlight was for some reason just unable to work.. Panicked she'd hyperventilate, she couldn't even hear herself breathe. It was quite disorienting. Rosalina in her fear she decided to walk through one of the doorways, the darkness was overwhelming, she carefully raised her arm moving it around in order for her to feel her surroundings, but the room was completely empty. She would try and find her way to a wall and stick to it, by placing her hand on the wall she could feel her way through the room. She would slowly make her advance, feeling her way through winding hallways and rooms with no light source in sight. . . . It's been about 2 hours of walking non-stop, the absence of light and sound was getting to her head, she could've sworn she saw a shadowy figure run past one of the doorways she encountered, but it was too dark to clearly see it. tap.. tap... tap.. Rosalina would turn around quickly to look behind her. Was that... tapping noises? it sounded like it came from right behind her!
Rosalina would immediately face the other direction, her walking pace has increased. "M...maybe I'm just imagining things for being in the dark so long, r..right?" she thought to herself, the pacing of her steps increased even further . . . The fourth hour has now rolled by, and the voices and figures have not went away. The encounters rate have only ever increased, and have not shown any signs of stopping. "Oohhh boy, I think I'm going insane here!" Rosalina exclaimed in her thoughts. "I wish he was here with me right now.. I'd feel so much safer" Rosalina held back tears.. However, her thoughts were interrupted with what felt like a hand grabbing onto her arm. She'd inaudibly scream and start to sprint, however she'd hit a wall shortly after "Ow!" ". . ." Rosalina felt around the wall and started to walk in a quick pace going around the corner, hoping to lose whatever just grabbed her. . . . Hour 6 rolled by, she had no way to tell for how long she has been stuck in this godforsaken maze. "God, where the hell am I going?? I want out!!" Rosalina wanted to scream out, but the unnatural properties of this room were stopping her from creating any noise. But after a while she could hear a distant sound.. are those.. waves crashing? She was rather confused, but decided to follow the faint wave sounds but was interrupted by a screaming voice ???: "GET AWAY FROM ME!!" Was that.. a human? Rosalina froze in place but was tackled into the ground, she felt a surge of pain all over her body and face as if she was being hit and beaten. She yelped and whined inaudibly as she was being mercilessly attacked. The smell of iron was faint but apparent, was she.. bleeding? She'd attempt to plead her way into being left alone, but all attempts were in vain. This damn level's ability is cutting her voice out! Panicked, she'd feel her way through her backpack. Pulling out her knife, she'd stab where she believed her attacker was. Which seemed to be effective as the beating stopped and the person screamed in pain. "I.. I am so sorry mister, Bu.. but you wouldn't stop hurting me!" Rosalina would limp away with tears in her eyes towards the sound of the waves leaving the screaming man behind. Eventually, his voice was drowned out by the increasing sounds of the ocean. Soon enough, she'd find a set of stairs leading down where the source of the waves comes from.

"Finally!! a way out!" She thought to herself, limping her way down the stairs.. finding herself in an overflown room..
