『  ⛧  』  ───   WHATEVER  WAS  HAPPENING  TO  HER  ,  WASN'T  GOOD.   Dean  winced  when  she  cried  out  in  pain  ,  moving  a  little  closer  to  the  table  she  was  sitting  at  to  read  her  cards.   He  had  asked  her  to  do  this  ,  to  help  him.  In  a  way  ,  what  had  happened  was  HIS  FAULT  ,  but  this  also  told  them  something  else  that  was  incredibly  valuable  to  them.

Someone  was  trying  to  keep  Dean  from  trying  to  find  a  way  to  stop  all  this.   The  angels  had  told  Dean  that  there  was  no  AVOIDING  this.   That  Lucifer  &  Michael  would  have  their  battle  ,  but  Dean  was  ever  reluctant  to  accept  that  outcome  for  himself  ,  &  for  his  brother.   Anyone  trying  to  tell  Dean  what  to  do  would  be  met  with  nothing  short  of  disappointment.   That  much  was  to  be  certain.

❝  Well  ,  on  the  plus  side  ..  Means  there's  a  decent  chance  there's  somethin  that'll  really  work.  ❞   Which  ALSO  meant  that  they  were  going  to  be  protecting  whatever  that  was  even  more  so.   If  there  had  been  no  way  around  this  ,  there  would  be  nothing  to  stop  Dean  from  doing.   That  was  the  good  thing  though.   As  there  always  was  ,  now  it  was  time  for  the  catch.

Her  soul.   She  wanted  her  soul  back.   Dean  drew  in  a  deep  breath  ,  his  shoulders  rising  &  falling  slowly  when  her  condition  was  revealed  to  him.   ❝  Yeah  sure  ,  I  know  how  it  goes.   Make  a  deal  with  a  shady  guy  in  an  even  shadier  suit  in  the  middle  of  nowhere.  Get  nice  &  juiced  up  t'accomplish  your  dreams  …  For  a  price.  ❞   It  didn't  take  a  genius  to  see  where  she  was  going  with  this.   ❝  I  take  it  you  got  suckered  int'that  pyramid  scheme?  ❞

Kat knew what it felt like to be a pawn on the chessboard. She never asked to be born clairvoyant. She didn't want to attract Crowley to her and have her soul literally ripped from her body to make her a demon. To be forever damned. It pissed her off how her life ended brutally.

That rage was burning. She let out a sigh before giving him a nod. "Yes, I'm aware. Demons talk well gossip even though they disgust me.."

She shuffled the cards more before pulling out of the deck channeling it. Kat was trying to see the outcomes and paths Dean would need to take to derail it.

Her red eyes went black before she cried out in pain. Blocked. Something no someone was blocking her.

"That never happens.." A cold chill ran down her spine. She put the cards away back into the deck box.

Her nose was bleeding. Reaching up to wipe it away.

"Figures when it comes to you, Dean that it's never easy..or that simple. Same with your brother Sam.. If you want my help, we'll have to work together, but I want my soul back. That's the deal."

"You know the terms of a crossroad demon." When a deal was to be accepted as a contract. There was rules and even Kat was forced to obey those.

『  ⛧  』  ───   THERE  WASN’T  AN  OUNCE  OF  HAPPINESS  TO  BE  HAD  IN  THAT  MOTEL  ROOM.   @vintertsarn  was  right  ,  they  had  well  &  done  lost  the  trail  they  had  been  on  ,  &  Dean  was  starting  to  wonder  if  they  were  even  hunting  a  real  monster.   That  in  itself  ,  sounded  ridiculous  enough  to  the  average  person  ,  but  for  Dean  …  Things  were  really  tracking  at  all  like  they  should.

They  thought  they  were  hunting  a  MONSTER.   Though  the  answer  as  to  what  that  was  ,  seemed  to  be  eluding  them.   Sam  ,  Dean  ,  &  Sarah  were  trained  to  be  the  very  best  Hunters  the  game  had  to  offer  ,  but  none  of  this  was  tracking  ANYTHING  they  had  ever  come  against  before.

People  were  going  missing  ,  but  not  in  a  way  they  hadn't  ever  seen  before.   What's  more  ,  when  they  followed  the  trail  to  see  where  they  may  have  been  taken  to  …  the  trail  just  ended  up  going  cold.   Dean  didn't  much  like  any  of  this  ,  &  coming  up  with  worse  than  nothing  ,  but  meeting  an  end  so  dead  ,  it  almost  seemed  like  these  people  didn't  EXIST  ANYMORE.

❝  Yeah  ,  &  then  we  follow  that  trail  ,  that  leads  to  yet  another  dead  end  where  it's  like  these  people  never  fuckin  existed  t'begin  with.  ❞   The  whole  thing  sounded  nuts  when  he  said  it  out  loud.   ❝  Whoever  these  people  are  ,  they  ain't  messin  around.   It  just  feels  like  we're  missing  somethin  right  under  our  nose  in  all  these  scribbles  &  I  can't  stand  it.  ❞   He  huffed  out  a  sigh  as  he  finished  speaking.   Looking  at  the  table  of  pictures  of  symbols  that  seemed  to  go  on  forever.   ❝  I  can't  make  out  what  any  of  this  shit  means  …  ❞

IT'S  CRY  ABOUT  THE  BOI  HOURS  KIDS!!!!   sitting  here  thinking  about  the  40  YEARS  HE  WAS  IN  HELL  where  lilith  had  him  tortured  &  broken  down.   Guys  ,  for  30  years  he  refused  to  torture  another  soul.   of  course  dean  is  gonna  say  no  ,  but  the  part  that  always  brings  me  to  tears  is  thinking  about  the  moment  he  said  yes.   he  was  so  scared  ,  so  tired.   think  about  it  ,  all  those  years  he  probably  was  just  waiting  ,  for  sammy  to  come  get  him.   then  there's  no  doubt  the  SHAME  over  finally  not  being  able  to  take  it  anymore.   dean  was  always  seen  as  the  strongest  of  the  kids  ,  &  there's  gotta  be  something  absolutely  crushing  about  arriving  to  the  point  where  that  strength  &  resolve  wares  out.

CALLING  ALL  MY  MARVEL  LOVELIES!!!  Yeah  ,  I  know  that  makes  up  most  of  my  current  followers  …  THAT'S  BESIDE  THE  POINT!   I  had  a  marvel  verse  for  Dean  where  he  turned  into  a  super  soldier  ,  but  I'm  looking  to  expand  on  that  verse  some  more.   If  any  of  you  would  like  to  have  a  hand  in  expanding  that  verse  ,  please  hit  me  up.   I  want  this  year  ,  &  my  writing  going  forward  to  be  centered  around  plotted  stories  with  our  muses.   I  want  meaningful  plotlines  that  carry  on.   I  wanna  build  worlds  with  our  muses.   So  don't  be  shy!   Lets  make  some  incredible  stories  together!

『  ⛧  』  ───   FOR  SOMEONE  WHO  DEFAULTED  TO  GLARES  ,  @vintertsarn  knew  how  to  play  a  prank  or  two.   Something  Dean  quickly  learned  they  had  in  common.   Aside  from  the  other  obvious  piece  of  trivia  of  them  both  being  fiercely  protective  older  brothers.   Dean  WOULD  have  made  a  similar  prank  on  his  brother  ,  &  probably  would  have  a  very  similar  reaction  to  what  the  brunette  was  currently  sporting.

❝  Yeah  yeah  yeah  ,  hardy  har  har.  ❞   He  grumpily  back  as  he  set  his  now  ruined  cup  of  coffee  back  down  on  the  diner  table.   He'd  get  another  ,  nothing  that  couldn't  be  fixed.   But  Bucky  was  already  making  it  well  known  that  he  wasn't  scared  of  the  hunter's  grumpy  nature  in  the  morning  before  having  his  first  cup  of  coffee.   This  sort  of  life  certainly  didn't  seem  to  sway  him  away  from  it  what  so  ever.   Then  again  ,  that  was  bound  to  happen  when  you  lived  lives  like  the  two  of  them  had.

Which  was  absolutely  the  reason  the  two  of  them  had  gotten  along  as  well  as  they  had.   It  was  obvious  without  even  HEARING  all  the  details  ,  that  the  other  knew  what  they  had  been  through.   Made  moving  through  the  motions  of  all  of  this  a  little  easier.   Something  he  was  still  getting  used  to  thinking  about.   All  that  moving  through  his  head  while  reaching  for  the  mug  of  coffee  sitting  in  front  of  Bucky  to  take  a  sip.   ❝  Lesson  one  about  fuckin  with  me  in  the  morning  ,  always  comes  at  a  price.  ❞   He  reminded  with  a  sly  smirk  as  he  put  the  mug  down  in  front  of  HIM  this  time.

❝  You  can  have  this  back  when  um  …  ❞   Dean  leaned  forward  to  look  toward  the  kitchen.   Hoping  that  might  prompt  his  memory  on  what  their  waitresses  name  was.   ❝  Ingrid  comes  back  t'replace  the…  ❞   There  was  a  pause.   Followed  by  a  playfully  mournful  sigh  over  the  coffee  as  though  it  were  a  fallen  comrade.   ❝  Poor  soldier  who  never  had  a  chance.  ❞
