This may be a hot take but I actually kinda headcanon Rouxls as Aroace. Yes I KNOW he was in a poly relationship with Lanino and Elnina, but nothing about it seemed "romantic" on his part. He was all about how 3>2 and it helps to "become stronger in battle" or smth I don't remember the exact dialogue. I don't think he even properly understand what romance really is. But that's just my take, please don't crucify me bi Rouxls truthers orz

ok so uh. im noticing PARTICULARLY in fanfic spaces (especially one popular fic rn, but we're not naming names, if you think you know what don't say it. no harassment please and thank you) that people are wildly mischaracterizing tenna. like i don't know where the idea that he's a horrible boss and hateful manager came from. that he's distant and cruel and things like that?? i feel like characterizing him in that way misses the point

tenna is pushy and clingy and tends to guilt trip people for sure, but he's never intentionally cruel or manipulative. most of the worst stuff he does is to prevent the lightners from leaving him. he's absolutely terrified of people leaving him behind. hell even his employees, who he does push around a little bit, he's very sad to see them leave when they do. and obviously he values people such as mike, elnina and lanino. so it really feels like a misunderstanding of his character to INTENTIONALLY make him a bad person who wants to hurt people for his own self gain

and im not saying tenna's a perfect person, absolutely not. but i notice this mischaracterization of bpd coded characters often. their negative traits are driven to the point where they just become terrible people in fanon or are so far detached from the source material. and that's... unfortunate, because we're living in the year of 2025 and people still (intentionally or not) are peddling the idea that every person with bpd is cruel and mean. no bpd isn't pretty - i have it - but none of this stuff was like. in the game.

I think we as a society should bring back brotps. I think we should be weirder about characters being friends the same way people are weird about ships. Make those two characters who interacted once or twice besties. Make it difficult for them to get rid of each other even if they want to. Go nuts

genuinely makes me so sick thinking about the fact that ralsei is a darkner and therefore will never be able to visit the light world. he should be hanging out with his friends at the diner!!!! he should be able to get to be a normal kid for once without all this jank about prophecies and servitude and his designated Purpose TM hanging over his head 24/7

HERE'S how a Gerson & Susie hug would go down even though Susie is very hesitant about PDA bc it's been haunting me for days.

At some point Gerson shows up in the story again and Susie is out of her mind with joy, so she launches herself at him only to freeze just a couple of steps away (she VERY clearly wants that hug but is too embarrassed to actually initiate or accept one).

Gerson looks at her and because he reads her like a book he's like "Well, what's the hol' up? Where's my hug?!"

and Susie's sputters like (miss me with that gay shit voice) "What? I... uh. Heh. You're kidding? Like I'm gonna go for a hug. You'll, uh, probably just use it to suplex me or something, anyway."

"Right, I see... Still a coward then, hmm?"

"What?!"

"Gah haha hah! Scared of a little tackle, are we? Think y' can't handle it? Can't even keep your feet on the GROUND?!"

until he riles her up enough that she tries to grab at him. He steps back. She tries again, he dodges.

"You know what? If you want a hug that badly, take THIS!!"

And she goes for a full sumo tackle. And Gerson tanks the hit. Heels planted, she probably slides him back an inch or two out of momentum, but he holds his ground...

...and holds her back. Just clinging to her, bone-crushingly tight, with her head tucked under his chin. He doesn't make another move. One second. Two. More. Until he feels her claws scratch the metal of his armor, and Susie's breathing goes a little funny.

And THEN he suplexes her.
