Snape: *decides not to teach students except what's in the book*

Actually, there is not a single time that we see Snape tell students to open their books and follow the recipe. What he does do, is put a Potion recipe on the board himself. With these recipes, Hermione makes perfect potions for five years. Suddenly, in Year 6 she has Slughorn, a teacher who *does* make the students use the books. And just as suddenly, she can't make perfect Potions anymore. No one can except Harry, who is using Snape's old text.

The explanation that fits these facts is that Snape does share his improvements.

Ron Weasley being the (best) father (ever)

- Ronald Weasley crying and swearing under his breath when his first child is born

- Ron stopping baby Rose from crying by levitating her in the air to Hermione’s terror

- Ron always calling Rose ‘Little Princess’ or ‘Rosie’, even when she’s a grown up

- Ron sneaking chocolate frogs in Rose’s muggle school backpack when  Hermione isn’t looking

- Ron being goofy around his children, making stupid faces and taking them on rides on his back so that they’re always laughing with him

- Ron always telling Rose and Hugo how proud he is of them so that they never doubt in themselves

- Ron not being a really strict father, but when one of his children goes too far it’s usually his reaction that makes them feel sorry, cause there is nothing worse than seeing their loving father disappointed in them

- Ron reading bed stories to Hugo, because he is very good at making impressions of different creatures

- Ron keeping it a father-daughter secret that one time Rose flooed home from Hogwarts missing a whole day of studying only to watch a Chudley Cannons match

- Ron needing a few moments to himself, when he accidently hears Hugo telling  Lily that he will write about his father on an assignement about the greatest heroes in their life

- Ron helping Rose prepare for her NEWTs by taking her on a trip and not learning at all, because she’s stressed too much

- Ron teaching his children to ride a broom and perform defensive spells

- Ron always explaining why he needs to go and that he will be back and loves them all when leaving for an auror mission

- one of the best father-son moment being Hugo beating Ron in chess

- Ron letting little Rose paint his nails pink, because why the hell not
