Would have thought this blog would be going feral over the price drama
man this blog has been dead forever, I haven't played wolvden in MONTHS
might pick it up again if I get some spare time, but I'm an accountant as my day job so I'm not super excited to come home from numbers and spreadsheets just to play with more numbers and spreadsheets
I'll look into the drama tho, I am a nosy bitch after all

Making Silver Cones (SC)
So I know it’s way slower to make SC than it was to make SB back on lioden! I’m not an expert at all (i’m but a humble lore writer) but I’ve seen a lot of people asking about this in chat. So here’s what I know:
Try and do your snake quest every day; this is good for about 100SC a day! BUT, mainly I get my money through selling meat to the raccoon!
Any bigger carcasses you get (8+ or 10+ uses), I would keep to feed your pack! If you don’t have any bigger carcasses yet, save just enough smaller ones to feed your pack. Probably don’t bother feeding your lead; they can fill their hunger while exploring.
Sell all smaller carcasses, meat chunks, and eggs to the raccoon! They’re worth more SC per use than big carcasses. You can hunt for these critter carcasses, but honestly your lead will probably bring in more while exploring, especially when your hunting party is new!
Under the cut are the starting-biome explore encounter choices I’d recommend taking to make that sweet roadkill money. Credits to the grouse house for their post on explore encounters!

Possible Affects of new Update. Price to buy GC may raise a bit. Value of Low & VLF Lions will raise.
I agree! So far, immortal wolves cost 20 GC (give or take how many immortal slots you already have), and having a more valuable item available may drive the need for a closer conversion to Lioden (as the mods seem determined to stay true to Lioden pricing). People on the front page of the trading center are already trying to sell their GC for 500, 700, 800, or 1000 SC when more than 15 to 20 pages of the TC include sellings for less than 90 SC. I think it is premature to try to sell at the Lioden market price, especially since the ways to earn SC naturally are very limited, and the average person may only score 200-300 SC a day, and even that's a high estimate. I earn about 150 to 200 SC a day between the raccoon, hunting, and explore. I'll try to make up a graph of some sort to help better track the outlying GC prices on the Trading Center for a more accurate median and average.

he's still a cute bear too. do you really need him to be decked out in a stereotype shaman/medicine man outfit? if the raccoon can be naked, so can he
If its ""jUsT a BeAr"", why is it such a big deal to you if it changes then? If the feathers are gone, his blurb of text redone and it helps native peoples feel more comfortable playing this game, why is it such a big deal??? It literally will not affect you AT ALL.

The price of herbs on the TC seems to be dropping every single day. Guaiacum can now be bought for 40 SC each, and Pineapple Leaf has trended down to 50 SC.

Today marks the most volatile day in the GC:SC market. For the duration of time that I was online, the market for selling GC for SC went as low as 1GC for 65SC and as high as 1GC for 89SC. The market for selling SC for GC went as low as 60SC for 1GC and as high as 75SC for 1GC. The rate changed constantly throughout the day, up and down and up again. It’s like a rollercoaster.
Today is not an easy day if you are in on making an acorn on the spread of SC-to-GC and GC-to-SC.

I’ve been trying to keep track of it best I can and calculate out an average, but with the site going down on my end at least, it’s been a bit difficult. The market is definitely NOT stabilizing, and anybody who is saying that it is should probably take another look.

Current GC to SC conversion rate is averaging out at 1:85
Current most rare base coats are Wulfenite (which is still unavailable, as Kitty's lead male has the base, but is not available to stud), Isabel, and Saffron, both of which have increased in percentage from .04% to .05%. The current lowest priced Isabel is 15 GC compared to the highest being 50 GC and the lowest priced Saffron is 12 GC compared to the highest being 20 GC.
Just a small mobile update since my laptop died and I noticed a spike in currency sale conversion rates.
