Activity Questions and Answers:
State the problem. My close friend is experiencing cyber bullying, and I saw all the comments and shares of other people with foul words and negative reactions. My friend needs help. How can I help him deal with cyber bullying?
State what you need that person to do. As his close friend, he can be open to me, and he will also let his parents know about his situation, along with her other friends. Another thing to do is to calm down. My advice to him is not to gripe about their bashful comments toward him. Open up the problem, and I think he also needs to be rational. He must maintain his thinking and have a strong will at all costs. Next, he must screenshot and find a few of the negative comments and shares to keep as evidence. Do not confront them, as it will only lead to being bullied more and taking it as a joke. If possible, delete the post and block the other person or people on social media. But lastly, it is better to ignore it, but when it becomes worse to the point that bullying affects his physical or even emotional health, he shouldn't just ignore it; he should report it immediately to the authority to take action and stop them from bullying you or anybody else.
Explain how you tried to solve the problem on your own.   First, I won't let his feelings be affected by those bashful comments from Facebook, because being so much affected by those would just worsen my depression and can lead to the worst. After that, I will spend more time with him, just being a supportive friend and not being sensitive as much as possible. If that person is aware of cyberbullying, he or she is aware of the consequences of posting something that you didn't think properly about. That's why we were taught to think before we clicked. If I were in the same situation, I think it is better not to respond to the harsh comments, and if the negative reactions and harsh comments continue to grow, it is much better to delete what you post to lessen the harm, or when they don't stop bullying you on social media, it is better if you open this up to your parents or guardians to immediately take action about it, and if it still doesn't work, it's best to report it to the authorities and show them your evidence that bullies are bullying you.

THE TWO FACES OF SOCIAL PLATFORMS (Good &Bad)
Youth's wellbeing and mental health are influenced by social media in ways that are good and bad.Social media offers numerous advantages to youth, including the opportunity for creative expression, educational possibilities, and the chance to interact with others. However, social media can also have negative impacts on the mental and physical well-being of students.
Why is social media good?
We have more connectivity and convenience thanks to social media, such as:
• keeping in touch with loved ones all across the world via email, SMS, FaceTime, etc.
• Easy access to research and information
• Bill payment and banking at our fingertips
• Participation in social responsibility (fundraising, promoting social awareness, giving a voice) and online learning, work skills, and content discovery (on YouTube).
• Powerful promotional tools
• Possibilities for working remotely.
Therefore, technology and social media make our lives easier, but we should use them in moderation. Social media can be beneficial, but teenagers should trust their own feelings and call out a trusted adult if they ever feel uneasy about something they read or see there. This person could be a parent, a teacher, or another trusted adult. Social media bullying, threats, and violence are all indications that the individual who did it needs support.
Why is social media bad and what is the disadvantages of using social media?
•Lacks Emotional Connection
•Gives People a License to be Hurtful
•Decreases Face-to-Face Communication Skills
•Conveys Inauthentic Expression of Feelings
•Diminishes Understanding and Thoughtfulness
•Causes Face-to-Face Interactions to Feel Disconnected
•Facilitates Laziness
•Creates a Skewed Self-Image
•Reduces Family Closeness
•Causes Distractions
With all of its benefits, the nature of social media presents a range of potential issues.
Online vs. reality: Social media itself is not the problem. It is the way people use it in place of actual communication and in-person socializing. "Friends" on social media may not actually be friends and may even be strangers. Increased usage. The more time spent on social media, the more it can lead to cyberbullying, social anxiety, depression, and exposure to content that is not age-appropriate. Social Media is addicting. When you’re playing a game or accomplishing a task, you seek to do it as well as you can. Once you succeed, your brain will give you a dose of dopamine and other happiness hormones, making you happy. The same mechanism functions when you post a picture to Instagram or Facebook. Once you see all the notifications for likes and positive comments popping up on your screen, you’ll subconsciously register them as a reward. But that’s not all; social media is full of mood-modifying experiences and self-image issues. Social media sites provide tools that allow people to earn others’ approval for their appearance and the possibility to compare themselves to others. It can be associated with body image concerns. The "selfieholics" and people who spend most of their time posting and scrolling are the ones most vulnerable to this.
In fact, most college girls who use Facebook at least five times a day are likely to link their self-worth to their looks. That doesn’t mean that the main problem is social media; it only provides a medium for it, which further elevates the problem. It also promotes the same sort of behavior in others.

Blog Reflection
a.) MY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT MULTIMEDIA?
💎My own understanding about multimedia is that it is a system of delivering information or entertainment that incorporates multiple communication modalities. Multimedia could be used in a presentation at school. Video, audio samples, and still images are just some examples of multimedia.
b.) HOW DO I USE MULTIMEDIA?
The following is the process on how I made made my multimedia presentation:
💎Firstly, In making this video presentation I planned on how I would I make it more interesting for my viewers and I determine the purpose of my multimedia presentation and then I realized that my multimedia video presentation is about entertaining the audience or the viewers so the next step is I determined which application to use to make my video presentation organize.
💎Secondly, I gathered information which Involves gathering and making media elements such as images, videos, audio and text that would be included to my video presentation. Like for example: my multimedia presentation entitled "What does Happiness means?”I gathered information in the internet about what does Happiness means and I inserted my own definition of happiness by inserting my video clips
💎Thirdly, I used an application Capcut to edit, add elements, add text, add images, insert voice clips, video clips, graphics, sounds effects and etc. to make my presentation more attractive and entertaining for the viewer.
💎Finally, I replayed the video presentation that I made to finalize the outcome to know if I should make any revision and then gladly, I finally published it.
c.) WHAT DO I THINK THE SIGNIFICANCE OF USING MULTIMEDIA?
💎 The learning process is varied and enhanced with multimedia information, which improves knowledge retention. Students may have additional options to interact with the material when learning through video. Multimedia course materials are accessible to students all over the world.
In conclusion, using multimedia to communicate original and creative work is significant because it engages the audience, improves understanding, develops creativity, increases retention, and enables communication.

WHY CHOOSE ABM STRAND?
To start, Benigno Aquino III signed the K–12 Curriculum-related Republic Act (RA) 10533 while he was president. The given curriculum covers 12 years of essential education, beginning in kindergarten. Six years will be spent in elementary school, followed by four years in junior high, and two more years in senior high. Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM) are one of the subjects offered in senior high school. The students study how to communicate with business professionals in this portion of the curriculum. How to handle customers and stakeholders, how to assess the company's financial health, and how to improve communication abilities. Taking the ABM Strand will provide you with a lot of possibilities for starting and managing your own business. You will learn how to properly manage your time as well as an abundance of other skills that apply to almost any career path you choose. The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand, to use the simplest term, refers to academic programs that concentrate on the fundamentals of business operations, financial management, and accountancy, as well as all that surrounds all of these major fields. With the ABM strand, it is possible to pursue careers in sales management, human resources, marketing, project management, accounting, internal audit, and other management and accounting-related fields. For those incoming senior high school student who is not yet sure about the strand that they'll be taking, this is my advice for you: You should decide and think wisely. Take the strand that you really like and love, not because, "Dito nalang ako kasi andito yung kaibigan ko" or "Ito nalang kukunin ko dahil ito ang gusto ng parents ko." It's critical to pick the appropriate path for you, so think a hundred or thousands of times before taking a big step and choosing your strand. To my fellow aspiring entrepreneurs: Choose ABM as a strand. Maybe you are still worrying about the concept of ABM because others are saying, "Puro math naman dyn, ang hirap!" but I'm telling you, NO! It's all about analysis, interpretation, and, most especially, perseverance so that you can gradually learn about the business world and other stuff related to the course that you'll be taking soon in college. Always keep in mind that taking the ABM strand would be great preparation for you in college.
According to the consensus, you need to be an effective entrepreneur with strategies, perseverance, and smart thinking if you want to be prosperous in life. And once you have the ABM thread, you'll undoubtedly learn about it. The most crucial lesson you will learn while completing this strand (ABM) is how to manage and handle your money. ABM is not an easy path. You may not know what tomorrow might bring but you know on yourselves that you are not done yet but still, you’re determined to strive hard and meet all the struggles and difficulties for the betterment of your future. "You should not give up because you are more fortunate to survive through the challenges you had than those who didn’t even try because you believe that you can do it and your FUTURE MATTERS." -famous author. There is no easy path; ABM is also difficult, but I believe that there is nothing hard when you're determined to do it for your dreams and if you love what you do.
It doesn't inevitably matter whether you're an achiever or not when you're an ABM student because it's hard to deny how challenging our primary themes are. But you can be whatever you want to be in the future as long as you are studying, striving to learn each lesson, and prepared to add knowledge to your brain. Of course, you should still possess a passionate heart. If you want to enter into ABM or any other strand, this is the most crucial factor to take into account. You need to reflect. Is this really what I want? Is this possible? Is this the kind of future I want? Do I have the courage? Because if you don't, ABM is not something you can possibly survive. So, gather your calculators, columnar worksheets, and ledgers, and then be brave, strong, and passionate. Future CPA, Entrepreneurs or CEO"s, you have it in you. You can succeed, aspiring entrepreneur. You can reach your goals. You can. Just keep dreaming, have perseverance, work hard, and most especially have faith, and God will do the rest. PUHON and PADAYON!
