After a year of exciting change; moving my family, relocating my business and renovating my new home I have a massive thank you to say to all my wonderful customers! Renovations are coming to an end (well, near enough to stop for Christmas!), and I have just had a brilliant and successful series of Christmas events where I took my jewellery to you this time, (due to lack of space to launch a new collection online this winter, for this first time). Still you have chosen my jewellery as gifts for loved ones this Christmas and placed lots of orders online - thank you! I am delighted to reach many new customers, and always so touched to see regulars coming back to buy from me again. I’ve now finished and shipped all existing orders, and will then be focusing on getting this house ship-shape for our Christmas break. I will not be making any new orders that come in until 8th January, but please do go ahead and order if yours isn’t urgent (if you want to get ahead on those January birthdays, or spend your Christmas money!). Last week's @etsyuk fair in Preston was buzzing. This weekend I'm looking forward to Saturday's Christmas Craft fair at @bankfieldmuseum, Halifax and Sunday's Totally Tropical Christmas at @theeggfactoryhb, at home here in Hebden Bridge. Sunday is my last fair this year, the most I've done for a number of years. I've loved it! So this week is all about making the orders that are coming in, making more for my last 2 shows and in house world I am also painting the whole ground floor to move back downstairs when my folks come and stay on Sunday. One year ago today we came to view this crazy house. I loved it, loved the space despite its rather strange 'features'. Gary wasn't sure, and felt it was weird dark and pokey with a problem layout. Our own house wasn't even on the market at the time! After a rollercoaster 5 months we had the keys. Can't believe we pulled it off, and not only that, we've ripped it apart and solved almost every one of its problems or oddities.
