those who know me know I regularly subject my Zemo 20cm doll to all kinds of dress up — after the brilliance that was The Franchise, I couldn’t help but track down/upcycle a few pieces to let him be yet another Daniel Brühl character:

Eric Bouchard, directing genius — minus beard. (I thought about trying to make one out of felt, since I didn’t want to apply anything makeup-y directly to the cotton, but finally just decided he’d be clean-shaven. Possibly after another breakdown, who’s to say.)

…but plus beloved Indoor Scarf, obviously!

that is the hem of a t-shirt I originally cut apart to make the logo into a back patch for a vest — I cut another scarf also in heather grey, to look more like the marbled one he has in the show, but finally decided the black looked better.

I also made sure to put together his location shoot outfit!

(stress hiccups not included.)

the hat unfortunately is not stuck on his head has no drawstring, but I think it works nonetheless. lucky for me, Eric had kind of a monochrome capsule wardrobe vibe, so it was easy to take some basics I already had and assemble them.

anyway! it’s not much, just something little and fun I did with my spare time. if you’re a db fan and you haven’t got to watch the show yet, I highly recommend finding it somewhere — he’s a gem, and gets to show off his comedy chops even more than usual!!

I’m bummed hbo has already cancelled the show after one season, but not surprised. I kind of wish apple or someone would buy it out from under them to keep it going - especially with the cliffhanger they left us on - but alas.

that’s all I have to say to them, really.

Hello all! I wanted to make a note on this particular update to the masterlist as I've basically compiled as close to a complete filmography of Daniel's as possible at the moment.

For the last 4-ish years that I've upkept this post, I've very carefully avoided uploading movies that overlapped with others on this website or movies that I did not personally know the source of or have explicit permission to share. However, seeing as this fandom has dwindled in the years since then and most of the old-timers and original big name fans from years past have either moved on, deactivated, or gone inactive, I've decided to dump and upkeep a complete archive of everything I currently have. Most of the sources for the more obscure movies are unknown as they were passed onto me from mutuals of mutuals, so if there is any missing information that you personally know of, *please* let me know so I can adequately credit. On the point of many of the old guard of this very small fandom going silent, I do not plan on being one of those. :) Even if my interest wains (although it's going strong for half a decade now) I will still upkeep this post as long as I am able. Thanks all for sticking around.

Hello all! (again) I believe I have fixed the subtitles issue for The Movie Teller, although I really only briefly scrubbed through the latter half of the movie to check if the timing looked close enough and if the subs were still in English. Please let me know if y'all run into any other issues. ALSO: ALL THE LINKS ARE BACK UP (yay!!!) I'm currently working on grabbing screenshots for some other films that I have on my harddrive and uploading those as well. Nothing super obscure, but I figured having a close to complete filmography on here would be nice. :)
