a man in Italy (massimo sebastiani) killed a lesbian (Elisa pomarelli) because he was obsessed with her and obviously she kept turning him down and decided to end their friendship. So he strangled her, threw her body in a ditch in the woods and kept her hidden for days. The Italian press called him a “gentle giant with an unrequited love” who “broke down in tears because he regrets it” and “didn’t plan it, just acted impulsively cause he was devastated” they even seem to sympathize with him cause he turned himself in and confessed and was “cooperative” with the police. So this is just to let you know that this shit is still happening everywhere. I really don’t know what to say about this I’m just so shocked and miserable and heartbroken at yet another case of femicide in which too many people are sympathizing with the murderer.

RIP Elisa. You’ll be in my thoughts and my battles. I wanted to make this post to reach as many people as I can. I do not want victims like Elisa to go forgotten, I know my country will soon forget about her, but I know there are women on here who will keep her and every other victim of femicide in their memory and will fight to avenge them. Myself included.

Woman killed by stalker after local judge refuses order of protection

The Florida woman killed by a man who had allegedly stalked her since her Hooters waitressing days had tried to get an order of protection against him, but a judge refused the request.

Alissa Blanton, 23, of Cocoa, Fla., was shot and killed Monday in the parking lot near her new job at an AT&T call center in Orange County, Fla. Police said her killer, 61-year-old Roger Troy, fatally shot himself immediately afterward.

About a week before she died, Blanton asked a judge for an order of protection against Troy, whom she said had been stalking her for two years. Despite the evidence she presented – her petition contained more than 70 pages of harassing e-mails Troy sent to her – Brevard County Circuit Court Judge Dean Moxley said he didn’t have enough information to rule on the petition.

I was at a gay club that had two bathrooms, men’s and gender neutral. A guy kept touching me on the dance floor, my ass and my stomach and trying to kiss me so I ran to the bathroom. He followed me in. I asked the warden if there was somewhere he couldn’t go, a woman’s room. She said no, that they just assume the men will go in the men’s room and not the gender neutral one. They were just giving him the benefit of the doubt and hoping he wouldn’t follow me, because he had the option not to.

this is outrageous wtf!! if its gender neutral of course men can go in, i mean men sometimes will go to women’s bathrooms anyways and this just makes it easier. god i would never go to a place like that. why do men get to do whatever they want while we get to be “gender neutral”? at the very least make three fucking bathrooms then.

It’s not “neurodivergence”

I just dealt with an utter tool trying to excuse neckbeard behavior with “neurodivergence”. Let’s break this bullshit down.

A man who constantly talks down to women and “mansplains” as if we’re all idiots isn’t performing autistic oversharing or HE WOULD DO IT TO MEN.

A man, especially a young man, who refuses to bathe and groom himself is 99% of the time not having sensory or executive function issues, BECAUSE FAR MORE MEN THAN CAN POSSIBLY HAVE THEM REFUSE TO FUCKING BATHE AND GROOM THEMSELVES REGULARLY.

A man who CHOOSES to ignore boundaries and behave creepily is far different from a man who doesn’t understand social cues because of autism. A neckbeard is largely the first. How do I know? Because once again, if he was just socially inept, HE WOULD DO THE SAME THING TO MEN.

Instead, you get sexist, mansplaining asswipes ignoring women’s boundaries, fouling the air with their stench, and being as creepy as they think they can get away with. “Neurodivergence” doesn’t explain this.

Real talk, why are male directors so obsessed with rape, and by rape I mean women getting raped by men? Why are they so obsessed with portraying the horrible and humiliating act of rape? Why do they ALWAYS focus the camera on the woman getting brutally raped and not on the rapist and how disgusting he is? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single one where the focus is on the man and dehumanising him and not the woman. Why do they always act like “art doesn’t have to be censored” when rape is nowhere an art form? Women getting degraded for cheap shock value isn’t a fucking art form. One woman director could produce more valuable material than 10 men directors that think rape is supposed to be portrayed every single time they get the occasion and more shocking than ever. You’re going to push your repressed KINK onto somebody else because you’re too much of a shut in to explore it on your own? Sex workers are already vulnerable to men who seek to abuse them. 80% of sex workers around the world are women to girls. Most of those women are controlled by a pimp. Being forced into traumatic situations over and over. And you’re going to put these women into the predicament of either rejecting money they probably need or doing something they would never actually consent to ? How selfish can you be ?? “If you really care about sex workers…” Is this woman serious? If you really care about sex workers, help them get out of that situation. By giving them money without asking for anything in return. The false stigma they don’t want to be there?? Um Most women go into sex work because of dire financial need. Most of these women don’t want to be in sex work and you’re just going to force them to have sex with another client? Is this woman serious? I wonder how many disgusting men saw this and suddenly felt validated by their violent misogynistic kinks and are now going to force these poor women into these situations. Pathetic. This is awful. Sex Workers are not the issue. It’s the system. It’s this godawful that sees women as something to buy and sell. It’s the normalization of buying women and the disgusting side affect of capitalism and class systems that force already vulnerable people into even more violent and dangerous situations. We don’t need laws making it illegal or laws that make it viewed as work. We need resources for women and girls stuck in these situations to free themselves. The people buying sex are men and the people defunding resources for women? Also, men.
