What's so insane is that these people who admonish "genital preferences" think we care. Like that any homosexual is going to read that and think wow.. you're so right.. I should reconsider my innate sexual orientation.. it's bonkers. At most libs will give them lip service but there's no way people are ACTUALLY concerning themselves with "rethinking" attraction. Part of it is that they have assumed a position of sex as a commodity, a consumable. They'll essentially say "but if you keep having sex you like and enjoy and is pleasurable and is with the people you love, what if it makes others uncomfortable?" because in their mind, sex is performed as a thing to discuss with others for some sort of validation, like a tv show you watch or a brand of shoes you wear. if it isn't validated, it has no purpose or meaning. it has to be "seen", and they can't comprehend sex outside of this pornographic and consumable mindset. It's why they suggest bonkers things like "well you use dildos, why is a penis any different" as if a penis is just a stick that exists in space and not a body part attached to a person. As if inserting something into your vagina is done for the sake of it. They'll say "how sad and vanilla your sex life sounds" as if it fucking matters what they think if they're not in the room.
