i DID avoid the curse (#class of the bearowlwolves SWEEP, love yall) but unfortunately my body is made up of multiple small lizards and geckos as a side effect of a senior prank. so maybe not the most responsible wizardin' goin on, but all things considered its alright. All the kids love me on halloween cuz I always dress up like the geico gecko.

How did you land here? I'm assuming that wizards don't travel by plane.

I have indeed experienced planar travel, I’ll have you know! But yes… perhaps it would be relevant to provide context. I was… let’s just say, in a rush to take a trip away from home. Transport magic is not a field that I have ever been particularly adept in, especially when it is of the more instantaneous variety, but I felt like I had a solid grasp on how to get to where I needed to go as long as I stayed within the relative confines of my own physical world. However, in practice… spatial manipulation of that scale can get dicey. Something went wrong in the process, I really could not tell you what, and before I knew it I was beached on this island. My familiar, who was supposed to travel with me, is nowhere to be found. I fear she and I have become separated farther than ever before.

can you make the mushrooms giant with magic? I heard they make great houses.

I could, but my resources on this island are unfortunately limited and it just would not be practical. If I were back at my home in the city I'd have plenty of supplies left over for wacky stuff like that! My island hut is serving me well enough as it is, and it was a great character builder to make it with my own hands (and some slight levitation magic)!
