the idea of gaster being vital to deltarune has made reading others analysis (or mostly theories) a hit or miss so its finally refreshing to see someone who doesnt gaf about gaster being a possible major player in deltarune

i do not caaaaare about that guy. he just bogs down analysis. he's a phantom to chase. i give so much more of a shit about the characters that are, like. actually talked about in the story. and not those that are only found in the margins of another video game that you have to be some sort of truck freak to know about. it feels like a given that someone like that would not be a major aspect and even if he is why bank on that y'know?? there's just more to do

I was really excited when I saw this filename because I thought it was going to be 74 but it doesn't sound anything like 74 at all...I've been pranked as a 74 fan......

i think a lot about the sound of justice fight. how that's like. susie's reaction to someone she loves suddenly getting violent and scary and dangerous, clearly not being themself. she gets so worried about having to hurt them, about them hurting her, about there having to be consequences for these things they clearly can't help. and i think it's that attitude of hers that has drawn kris into feeling such comfort with her, slowly allowing her to see more of them until she finally sees their SOUL, bared for her.

and i do think about what made kris fear themself so much. the darkness that suffocates them from the inside, this fear of being something uncontrollably cruel, savoring in violence, this urge that tears at their thoughts and makes them feel like they were just born to be evil. and how susie's smile lights up their entire life, and how for but a moment their SOUL can rest in their chest comfortably, and how it's a comfort they never knew they were missing before now.

and i do think whatever happened to dess had to be what sent that first signal to kris that they were not safe here.

i think dess had a like. bad mental break, and got violent and scary, dangerous, and asgore had to like neutralize her and like. got her killed. and that was something that set a tone for kris, for how much of a problem they could be. for how far they could get from being a normal kid before they get seen as a threat to this perfect porcelain town. and that's why they stopped being kris.

hiii i really love your reading of kris and the soul!! its changed how i view the game so much and makes a lot of sense as a plural person myself. i was wondering, if someone wanted to make a video analyzing the relationship between kris + the soul through such a lens like dissociation, would it be ok to use some of your reading as inspiration (with credit of course if you are comfortable)? its understandable if not of course!! since people can be Strongly Opinionated about the soul. but i just thought i'd ask! hope u are having a nice day/night :)
