i love the idea of ghosts not being dead people but just places where time is kind of thin
like one of my friends & his girlfriend have a ghost in their very old new england house that's apparently an old timey little boy who does shit like jump on the bed and slam doors but if they tell him very sternly "daniel, stop that" the activity stops immediately
and i love the idea that years ago theres this rowdy little 19th century boy just being alive and playing in his room but if he gets too loud sometimes, the ghostly form of my 21st century friend shows up and is like "Hey! Cut it out." and then vanishes and no one believes this child

Visualisation
Tumblr media
Visualisation is incredibly useful in witchcraft as it is the base of energy work. From this, you can do all kinds of practices.
You can use visualisation for meditation, astral travel, sending energy into objects and many other things. These will all be covered in the future.
So, how do I start?
Here’s a basic exercise for you to practice. It’s very simple and many of you will probably be able to pick it up easily if you’ve already done visualition techniques!
1.  You’ll need a very quiet area where you’ll be comfortable. Even lying in bed and putting white noise in your headphones is useful. Get rid of all distractions, put your phone on silent etc.
2.  Close your eyes and empty your mind. Your mind might feel like a blank sheet of paper, and you’re going to create something in there.
3.  Picture an apple, any old apple. Zoom in and see its shape,  it’s colour. Does it have leaves, more than one colour? Look at every tiny detail of the apple you’ve created.
4.  Next, take a knife and cut this apple in half. Focus on the detail inside:  the colour, how many seeds there are etc. The more detail, the better.
5.  Now you use your senses. What the apple feels like, smells like. Bite into it and taste it. You’re using visualisation to not only see the apple but understand everything about it.
From this, you’re able to visualise and interact with objects in your mind. Practice often with anything you like!

2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon zest/rind
2 tsp rosemary
2 tsp thyme
10 sage leaves
1 tsp clove
Orange peels
Water
Simmer ingredients 20 minutes and add honey.
While stirring: “I honour those who came before me.”

My New Therian Site!
Introducing Therian Spirit!
Therian Spirit is a website expressing therian beliefs from a mystical and spiritual perspective, with an emphasis on how therianthropy relates to occult beliefs and yes, magic. I’ve been working on this for, well, roughly a year now, but I’ve finally finished enough of the site to share it here on Tumblr!
The site already features some exercises and magic-related tips for therians, as well as an article on scrying as a path to therian awakening. I have plans to post much more of the witchcraft and magic flavor, and hopefully someone will find it useful. I plan to syndicate some of the articles here, too.
I’m pretty nervous posting the link, both because of the sensitive topic (therianthropy) and because, while I tried to make the site as navigable and readable as possible, I worry about glitches or missing pages, etc. Some pages are missing, of course, but will be added later on!
Keep in mind that, while I do have plans to feature other folks’ thoughts and work on the site, it currently contains content written entirely by me. Everything on the site expresses my personal spiritual perspective on my own therianthropy, and may well not apply to others, depending on your views.
I do know that not all (or probably even most) therians view their identities in a mystical fashion, and that’s totally cool with me - I’m only speaking my own thoughts, and others can certainly chime in if they’d like! It isn’t as if I’m certain I have everything figured out, of course!
I’m open to comments, questions, and even submissions of articles on differing perspectives for the site. If you’d like to contribute, click here!

You’re healing every time you
get out of bed because there’s something you’re excited about.
don’t think about people who left.
clean the clutter in the room and dishes in your sink.
smile at yourself and random people.
do something kind and out of the blue to make someone happy.
work out or meet with friends even though you have no energy to.
calm yourself down when your thoughts race.
remember to drink water.
don’t dwell on things you can’t control.
do things good for yourself, even though you have no motivation.
tell yourself that you’re growing from this, and you won’t feel like this forever.

switch your mentality from “i’m broken and helpless” to “i’m growing and healing” and watch how fast your life changes, for the better.

From Wikipedia:
Nuestra Señora de la Santa Muerte (Spanish for Our Lady of Holy Death), often shortened to Santa Muerte, is a female deity or folk saint in Mexican and Mexican-American folk Catholicism. A personification of death, she is associated with healing, protection, and safe delivery to the afterlife by her devotees. Despite condemnation by the Catholic Church, her cult has become increasingly prominent since the 2000s.
The worship of Santa Muerte is condemned by the Catholic Church in Mexico as invalid, but it is increasingly firmly entrenched in Mexican culture.
Santa Muerte is also seen as a protector of homosexual, bisexual, and transgender communities in Mexico, since many are considered to be outcast from society. Many LGBT people ask her for protection from violence, hatred, disease, and to help them in their search for love.
Her intercession is commonly invoked in same-sex marriage ceremonies performed in Mexico. The Iglesia Católica Tradicional México-Estados Unidos, also known as the Church of Santa Muerte, recognizes gay marriage and performs religious wedding ceremonies for homosexual couples.
Man how did I not know about this magical gay skeleton queen until today?
