Sometimes some situations, people, or projects are just simply not worth it and we need to know when to walk away - which is never easy, but necessary.

// DAILY TAROT • KING OF SWORDS This card popped up twice for me this morning. Once while shuffling as a jumper and again when I actually pulled a card. I sometimes work with a jumper but only if it feels more than just a fluke, like poor shuffling or just walking up and in dire need of a coffee IV. This card wanted to be scene today, that's for sure! To me, the King of Swords is all about being very quick on your feet when it comes to communication, having your thoughts in order, and/or you aren't afraid to hold your ground in a conversation. I'm heading to a family gathering at noon today and will for sure use this energy today. I often feel very unheard and spoken over when in any social gathering (not just family), so it's a nice reminder to know that I can speak up if I need to and I don't have to just sit there and take what's being dished out to me.

// DAILY CARD • TEN OF WANDS Often times when I pull a card for the day, I'll peek at the bottom of the deck to get an idea of the underlying message of the card pulled or the root of the matter. I spotted the ACE OF WANDS and it made this heavy card a tad bit lighter. Your almost there! Keep going, no matter how hard it may be, how heavy your load is, or how much further you have to go. Don't stop now. Remember why you are doing what you are doing and keep this in sight. You have made it so far already and will see the results soon, just don't lose momentum!

I tend to read several books in rotation and I added this one in yesterday... I'm loving it! It's like tarot + feminine divine in one book and it's written beautifully. Each card mentions an intuitive perspective from the author, her journey with the card, ways that we connect to the card, and a little spell affirmation. I had this deck several years ago but never used it, so all the cards are new to me. This deck reads very intuitively and has been perfect in my daily Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) draws. Daily Tarot • 5/1 Happy May 1st! This is day 4 of no school for my kiddo and it's totally throwing off my days, I miss my morning routine big time. I think from what I heard, school may be closed until Thursday... or next week, no idea anymore. This is the last month of school, too.
