A good chunk of toxic masculinity comes from straight girls imposing ridiculous and weird masculinity standards on their boyfriends or potential boyfriends but we don’t like talking about that.

i don’t even think that girl from korea who got doxxed is an actual radfem. someone said in the comments of one of her posts that it was so funny that they were spreading misinformation about her to turn the fandom against her. this trans “woman” assumed she was a radfem just because she’s korean, told this random woman to suck her dick if she was without even letting her respond, and decided that her blocking him was proof that she was a radfem. this girl’s address is leaked, she is receiving rape threats and being told to kill herself, had people spamming her texts and calls, harassing her and trying to scare her by rubbing it in her face that they know where she lives, all because she blocked a man, who calls himself a woman, who sexually harassed her. they are claiming this is what’s necessary to protect “vulnerable trans women.”

Ezra Miller groomed a 12 year old Native (Lakota) teenaged girl. Said girl is now defending him, saying her father is "transphobic" and how since she is now an adult, she should have autonomy over her life, which is a big red flag for a groomed child.
Someone make this man face the wall and execute him please!!

The people who unironically believe "Not All Men" love to posture themselves as being fair and neutral because how could it be all men? They think of the men in their lives who they have good relationships with and picture them doing the things women are afraid of and it scares them. Sometimes it even makes them angry. Because when you say "men do X" you're including the men who they like and that offends them.
Why have they never thought of how many men it must be to make women be afraid of them ALL? If it really is so rare and uncommon why do women feel afraid to exist? Why are they afraid to take walks alone? Wear certain clothes? Why are they afraid to live alone? Why are they afraid of being alone with a man they don't know? Why would they trust an unknown woman with their children before an unknown man? Why do women need women only locker rooms, trains, shelters and colleges? why are we afraid to say no? How many men must it be that we literally build our entire lives around how to avoid being a victim.
I think the reality that it could be any man scares them. It could be their dad, brother, grandpa, friend, cousin, boyfriend, their own son. One day it could just randomly happen. No matter how much you think you know them you don't. You don't know who they are when they think no one is watching. That scares them so they think that it can't be ALL men. It's wishful thinking.
Class consciousness is not only beneficial to women because it creates community, it's vital to our growth and survival. Acknowledging the violence men are capable of is not paranoia, it's accepting reality. Reality is terrifying.
Not all men, but it could be any of them.

every time these people try to make some "legitimate" claim about gender critical women, it's immediately apparent to me that they have never actually listened to a single thing we actually say
I'd be lying if I said that I have fully overcome 100% of my own preformed biases about what it means to be a woman. I struggle with this. I struggle with the idea of letting people assigned male at birth into "women only" spaces. But that's my struggle. I want to make some space to say that it's okay to struggle with that question and also not go full TERF. Just don't ask trans women to guide you as you work through your own baggage.
I worked closely with a trans woman who was on a big "us women have to stick together" tip -- we were the only women in a fairly small organization. I struggled with that because I didn't feel that particular kinship with her. She was in her 40s when she came out and started transitioning, so there was also an aspect of just ... like ... most of her learned behavior was very male coded and a of the things she found shocking when the outside world started to read her as female were just exasperating. If she had ever actually listened to women before she recognized herself as one, she wouldn't be so surprised by any of it.
Anyway. I watch a lot of terf discourse #onhere and I think a ton about how much terfs struggle with the basic fact that unless you reduce women to having a hole where men have a dongle, their definitions all fail. There are so many women in this world who were assigned female at birth and never grew breasts at all, lost their uterus or never properly formed one, can't physically carry a fetus to term or give birth, can't get pregnant for a hundred different reasons and it becomes this agonizing identity crisis. You aren't woman enough if your body can't carry a baby. You aren't woman enough if you're flat chested (but also if you're boobs are too big you might be fat and that's certainly it's own horror to be avoided at all cost.)
There are cis women with square jaws, big hands, facial hair. Those all exist on the normal spectrum of how people assigned female at birth develop.
I call bullshit on anyone who insists that "being a woman" is defined as a pair of matching xx chromosomes a literal vagina.

know what’s wild? that the trope of like “my father always wanted a son so he treated me, his daughter, like a boy” is so popular and like lowkey loved, but if you ever saw a mother who talked about how much she wanted a daughter instead of a son, or if she treated her son like a girl, like??? people would think she’s awful and that poor boy??
damn wonder why that is 😒

being anti-trans wont save you from the patriarchy or racism. how small of you, to be seduced by the opportunity to get a taste of power from looking down on others. all while being powerless in your own life. does it make you feel good about yourself? punching down? or do you just want to feel better than someone else?
im not at all anti-trans. not a single post on my blog is arguing some sort of superiority on the basis of me not transitioning. you would know that if you actually looked at my blog instead of jumping to assumptions. you’re amazingly condescending for someone who has no idea what they’re talking about

Why are those sadists even attacking that poor girl? What was her ""crime""? Everything I've seen shows that she's just a Korean girl
She blocked a transwoman because he sent her a message about sucking his cock. And apparently that's transphobic. She also did not like the transwoman's ship which I believe is what lead to the cock comment. It's fucking disgusting behaviour.

Radical feminists can easily explain male majorities in math/science/tech/business/politics/etc as part of a patriarchal society that encourages boys/men to do great things while girls'/women's aspirations are held down.
How does patriarchy theory explain why most janitors are men? Carpenters? Plumbers? Landscapers? Computer repair technicians?
They aren't the kinds of jobs that men aspired to when they were young hopeful boys, and they don't necessarily love to work them, but they do them anyway. Just as sex discrimination laws removed formal barriers against women in STEM, nothing's officially stopping a woman in 2022 from signing up to take the steps a man takes to get these skilled jobs. Yet with the freedom to choose, they don't want to choose these jobs at anywhere near the rate men do.
How do theories of oppressive female socialization account for this?
