Playful Photos Combinaisons
Stephen McMennamy shares on his Instagram, amusing diptychs and combinaisons of two different pictures. The two pictures are assembled and are selected in order to create a harmony : the first one is completed by the second one. We see a branch which flowers are actually orange cones, an ear of wheat completed by a blonde braid and yellow paint transforming into a cut banana.

You know what turns me on? Effort. Assurance. Show me you care. That you really want me. I’m tired of doubting whether people are coming or going.

I am in no competition with no one. I have no desire to play the game of being better than anyone. I am simply trying to be better than the person I was yesterday.

Despite what you may believe, you can disappoint people and still be good enough. You can make mistakes and still be capable and talented. You can let people down and still be worthwhile and deserving of love. Everyone has disappointed someone they care about. Everyone messes up, lets people down, and makes mistakes. Not because we’re inadequate or fundamentally inept, but because we’re imperfect and fundamentally human. Expecting anything different is setting yourself up for failure.

Illustrations by Agata Wierzbicka
Agata Wierzbicka is a Warsaw, Poland based freelance interdisciplinary designer, who works on a junction of art and design. After having received M.S in Furniture Design and later in Architecture in Warsaw and Brussels, she focused her professional carrier on illustration, art and small scale design, ofttimes mixing all together within a particular project.
I love to observe people on the streets and travelers in various situations. I mainly draw digitally but love using acrylic, oil and pencil, and simply doing experiments in mixing techniques. My illustrations are characterized by a dynamic sketchy line and pastel colors.  via
