But ofcourse, gather round children uncle Cobra’s gonna tell you all a story.

Now I’m no veteran Juggalo but I’ve done my homework I promise (fun fact me and Violent-J share a birthday heck yeah)

The Dark Carnival is quite easily put, Limbo, you go there awaiting judgement, except there’s no waiting at all! Haha jokes on you! Nah instead you have to face it’s six ‘joker cards’ which are just…idk man spirits? Yeah. They’re best described as entities that gaurd the place and judge whether a person has lived a clean enough life in order to go to ‘Shangri-La’ AKA Heaven or….idk just Hell man.

These six entities bring out the worst in you but that implies you have a shot at actually redeeming yourself! By acknowledging your shit behavior in the past and not falling into making any new mistakes during your stay at the Dark Carnival. 

What this means in a Homsetuck sense is still unclear to me, altough there are SOME links there they’re being very cryptic about it obviously and I’m almost impressed to see someone who shittalks ICP so often to actually do his homework. Hussie and their writers get a star sticker for being good :)That being said I haven’t finished reading Homestuck yet as I am also new to that and I’ve only been briefly informed on it being a ‘different dimension’ in the Homestuck sense, which would be accurate since it’s literally Limbo.

TL,DR: the Dark Carnival is Limbo, the ICP dudes believe in god but haven’t been to church since they were 10, or atleast one of them has, it’s unknown about the other. They’re just using vulgar stuff to get your attention and then proceed to tell you “hey, eat your veggies, stay in school, don’t go to hell kids :’)” 

It’s slightly religious and they use a demonic carnival as a judgement ground where souls wait until they go to Heaven or Hell.

As far as the Friendsim goes, spoilers so I’ll do a cut here

And if you’ve read the cut and I’ve gotten anything wrong, whether about the Homestuck/Hiveswap/Friendsim universe or ICP lore, do come in and correct me man, I’m happy to learn.
