"You like it?" He questions curiously, turning back around to look at her, a small grin forming on his lips then he pauses and slowly begins to slither back towards her again.

sandi beams up at him as he gets the door for her, and walks to the hostess so that she can get them a table. ever since a long-ago night in vegas, she's been used to a certain level of CHAOS in her life. it can be hectic, but she's not exactly sore about it either -- especially if celebratory-i'm-still-alive-margs are a thing.

( they're definitely a thing now ).

"see ?? i knew you'd come around."

Wade has a way of pushing people away, usually through incredibly bad jokes and being overly annoying, he wasn't too sure why he did it most of the time, perhaps he was scared that they'd get hurt or perhaps he was scared they'd hurt him but her calling him out on it did throw him off a little.

"Yeeaah I'll stop complaining and just enjoy the treat." He offers with a small scratch to the back of his neck, reaching past her to hold the door open for her as she opens it. "Oooh margs, now we're talking!"

craig's array of sportswear is IMPRESSIVE ( it ought to be, that's his work after all ), so its easy enough to find something in his closet that he's sure will fit robert. he knows there's a small window, the options of what he comes back down to another round of multiple choice: 1) robert's gone without a goodbye, 2) robert's fallen back asleep, or 3) robert is up and ready and as enthusiastic as he can be for an early morning gym sessh with his good bro craig.

"hey, that's the spirit !!" craig grins, relieved, as number three wins out ( sort of, he is still in the house and NOT back to sleep; maybe it's as much enthusiasm as craig will get -- he'll take it ), and hold up the joggers in triumph before tossing them over to robert. "i got waters and protein bars to get us started off right. hydration is key, bro, but i'll go easy on you."

The comment had been fueled purely by the desire for more sleep. He did not know what time it was, exactly, but he knew that it was far too early for him to want to be awake. But the other man's attempt to get him up was working. As much as he hated it. "I'll manage it," Robert grumbled as he turned his face toward Craig. Merely peeking one eye open to consider him, clearly grumpy.

A handful of curses escaped him as Craig disappeared back toward his bedroom. It took a good couple of long moments for him to be able to drag himself into a sitting position. Even longer for him manage to be on his feet.

if she's offended by the term CRIMINALLY DERANGED, cherri doesn't show it. in fact, she takes the whole spiel in stride -- although, if we're being honest, she's not totally, exactly listening. "alright, ALRIGHT, already," she throws her hands up, laughs it off, even if there is a bit of an edge there. "if angie can do this, i got this, yeah ?? just HOP OFF MY TITS about it. come on and show me the digs."

"unfortunately, sometimes," hugo tentatively admits about letting ernest bully him out of his hobbies as he crafts one of his favorite combinations of meat, cheese, spread, and cracker from the board . he wouldn't say bully, per se, but... "when everything is a battle with him, you learn to pick and choose which ones are worth fighting."

the need to ensure that robert gets fed every now and then kicks in. charcuterie may not be the most traditional of meals -- or really be a MEAL at all -- but he wonders if robert would be interested in stopping in for a night that he actually cooked. of course, maybe that's nonsense, especially as his neighbor's own hidden talent is revealed. "really ??" hugo doesn't mean to sound so surprised, and he catches himself. "maybe you should be hosting then." his words are playful. he takes another sip from his wine.

Robert eyed the other man as he awaited the answer to his question. A tiny twitch at the corner of his lips at not only the confirmation but the little blush that he noticed, as well. "It's better than some of the meals that I've had." After all, there were multiple food groups presented on the board for Hugo whereas Robert's lazy dinner was just a bag of chips. "Are you letting your thirteen year old bully you out of your hobbies?" He joked as a grin properly settled into place.

The older man paused at the suggestion. Considering his options for a long second. "I don't know if it's equivalent but I guess... Cooking? I've been told I'm good at it."

although her smile lingers, her laughter stops. she just doesn't get him, but maybe that's not the worst thing. SOMEONE has to show the guy how to loosen up. cherri tilts her head slightly. "i didn't say weird was a BAD THING, dingus"

His eyes widen as she laughs, he felt stupid. His cheeks turn red and he looks around. "I'm sssorry." he apologises as she calls him weird. "I sshould jusst go.. erm.. I apologisse for being perculiar and I wissh you a good day misss bomb."

"alastor !!" rosie walks into the hotel, eyes appraising the interior -- she may not totally get it's whole schtick, but she loves alastor, and charlie grew on her quicker than rot on a severed limb, so she can't help but be curious. "so this is your little pet project that's been keeping you so busy !! nice, niiice -- not too shabby -- not exactly the ritz though either, is it ??" but she's smiling, tone playful, her sharp smile on display, she likes to keep going, can't help herself -- rosie has ALWAYS been a talker ( in the right setting ). "come now, alastor, i'm just teasing."

science ?? of all the reasons to give to show a gal your two dicks, science wasn't one that she could have concocted herself ( she and science are on alright enough terms -- EXPLOSIONS and all ). cherri laughs, "man, you are SO WEIRD."

Why hadn't he predicted that she would ask why, he could have mentally prepared something to reply with, instead he sort of panics, trying to come up with anything before blurting out. "Science!?" it doesn't even come out with confidence, sounding more like a question.

"WAIT." his voice shifts, spirals, an order if he's ever given one; a demand with no room for disobedience. pentious was a means to an end, a poor decision, sure, but one that was made nevertheless. a demon like vox doesn't like to have his time wasted.

"I-" Sir Pentious starts to speak then clears his throat slightly. "Well.. I ssupposse I shall be leaving then. Good day to you." He nods and quickly slithers around to leave, he shouldn't have came here in the first place, this was a bad idea all around, he at least should have brought some eggies for moral support.

his laugh is not a welcome sound, and it's hardly a good sign. "hold -- hold on. what part about you GETTING CAUGHT not even a day into your assignment made you think we were actually still relying on you ??" and relying on him was a strong implication. vox's faith in sir pentious's ability to do what was asked of him had been pretty flimsy to begin with.

OH he was nervous, he was terrified, he was about to slither away, regretting ever coming here at all when he heard Vox's voice. Turning slowly back to look at him. "Ah.. Yess." He nods then pauses. "I erm.. I am here to inform you that I shall no longer be providing my ssservicess to the V'ss.. My apologiess."
