Sultan – “A Vegetarian Affair” – A True Delight for the Foodie Soul
A friend of mine invited me for dinner last weekend to Sultan – Radisson Blu Kaushambi Delhi NCR. “Sultan” sounded like a typical Mughlai Restaurant and thus I was not able to understand why my ‘strict’ vegetarian friend is taking me to a Mughlai Restaurant.
I reached the place and was greeted well at the Vallet Parking, as I entered the restaurant I felt the grandeur of a palace of some Sultan, the high atrium, the spacious seating area, the live music performance and the courteous staff made me feel as if I was the Dewaan – e – Khas of the Sultan.
I had reached early. and thus was offered an early dinner discount. They had a huge variety of starters to offer which included North/South Indian, Italian, Chaat Counter etc. It being a buffet restaurant had variety to offer in main course too although the starters were such a delight that my stomach was not allowing me to go towards the main course but I couldn’t resist myself on seeing the live counter of Pastas and Phulkas.
The Food Affair didn’t end the desserts were eagerly waiting to go inside my mouth. Dessert section took me into a dilemma of what to eat and what to leave. All the desserts were looking mouth watering but my eyes went on the Kesar dhoodh.
I had such a royal experience at Sultan that I was actually left with an affair with the food.

Avatar – “A New Incarnation of Food”
What’s more appealing than spending a lazy afternoon at a place which serves food that not only is a treat for your palate but also for your foodie soul. Avatar – Radisson Blu, Kaushambi is one such place where you can find a wide variety of flavours from the rustic farmlands of New Zealand to the Royal flavours of Lucknavi Dastakhwan.
Avatar, quite a unique name for a restaurant and so is the taste of the food served at Avatar. The moment you pick up the Menu, you get lost in the flavours of food. They have so much to offer that it’s the perfect place to spend time with your family, from kids to elders; everyone’s flavours are ready to be served.
I have special place for prawns in my stomach and thus Grilled Jumbo Prawns was my first destination. Although I have a bent for the Mughlai flavours but the Oriental Main Course was scrumptious. Speaking about the Mughlai flavours my palate would have felt hurt if I didn’t try the Dum Gosht Biryani, the Hyderabadi flavours just melted in my mouth.
Even though I am not a sweet toothed person yet the dessert section was my favourite, it was just not an amazing assortment of deserts but also gave the option of select your topping in the ice cream section.
To sum up my lazy afternoon turned out to be a flavoursome experience all thanks to Avatar – Radisson Blu Kaushambi Delhi NCR.

Here’s How to Taste the Best Kebabs in Delhi/NCR
Last week, I came across news on one of the leading Indian news websites regarding an ongoing food festival in Delhi/NCR. The festival that was mentioned was Kebab Carnival at Kama, Radisson Blu, Kaushambi Delhi NCR.
Tumblr media
Upon visiting the venue, I noticed that the restaurant was serving Kebab delicacies from all around the world! Isn’t that amazing? This is just the kind of food spread that one needs this season.
The ambiance was nonetheless equally good. Once you’re inside the restaurant, you’re sure shot to experience the 5-star vibes, which is something what Radisson truly stands for. The music too didn’t disappoint.
Coming back to the food, both presentation and taste are exquisite. The starters are equally worthy. But the desserts stole all the limelight; they are just out of the world.
It was surprising that this food carnival got so little coverage by other food bloggers and press. Anyways, this place is a must visit since they run a new food festival every month. I had a talk with one of their staff and came to know that they’re planning for Lakshadweep food festival somewhere in the mid-September.
Well, I guess I just found another reason to visit this place next month! Will update you guys about that gastro-journey as well.

My Recent Visit to Radisson Blu Kaushambi Delhi NCR
I’ve been following Radisson Blu Kaushambi’s Facebook page for quite a long time. I saw a couple of their posts regarding early bird discounts, authentic North Indian Delights etc. I checked all their restaurants on Zomato and settled for Sultan, one of their signature vegetarian restaurants.
Since it was my birthday, the budget wasn’t a problem. The only thing that mattered was the taste & ambiance, or else my friends would’ve made my living life a hell!
Food
Upon reaching there we found out that Avatar is a decent place for a wholesome dinner.
As a matter of fact, we didn’t even feel the need for the main course; the appetizers and snacks served were pretty good. They also have a wonderful range of dessert options, both Indian and Western.
Ambiance
This place offers a breathtaking view at the top and unlike the most restaurants with small roof space; their height was like too damn high! All the cuisines are arranged well and nice. People don't get struck at one place as it’s quite spacey.
Pricing
At first, when I was reading the menu, I was sure the bill would burn a big hole in my pocket. But guess what? We availed a freaking 45% discount!!
They’ve been running a scheme in which you’ll get 35% discount if you visit between 7 PM to 8 PM. plus additional 15% if you pay through credit card, check-in on Facebook and fill out a feedback form. (5% for each)
Since I only had a debit card I was only able to avail 45% off (35% + 10%). Overall, I would say this is the best multi-cuisine restaurant to visit any time of the day!
P.S.: MOST RECOMMENDED FOR VEGETARIANS!

On my Visit to ‘Kama’ in Radisson Blu
The name ‘Radisson’ speaks for itself. My recent visit to Radisson Blu Kaushambi was full of amazing discounts, delicious food and an exquisite ambience. The staff was super friendly and courteous and was always there to listen to your feedback. Being a foodie, I always look around for amazing restaurants and I must say, Radisson Blu never disappoints your hunger cravings.
On my visit to ‘Kama’ in Radisson Blu, which is famous for its economically priced food, I ordered Greek Salad, Devil Chicken and Chicken Pasta. The right amount of spices and ingredients turned the dishes into heavenly servings which surely satisfied my hunger but not the craving of wanting more. The food was healthy and the service was super fast. Who would not appreciate quick and fast service in a restaurant when you are starving to death? The Pasta I ordered had a rich amount of sauce which added like a cherry on the top while the Greek Salad was tasty unlike any other salad. Now we know, how healthy and tasty can go hand in hand. The use of lemon juice in Devil Chicken was just perfect and the cracked pepper was like an icing on the cake. For a non-veg lover like me, ‘Kama’ turned out to be an amazing eating spot. After having these dishes, I ordered ‘Tiramisu’ to satisfy my sweet tooth cravings. With a right amount of Cheese mousse infused with Kahlua and Espresso, I am sure, I was about to order one more.
The last part of the whole process was the pricing which would have been quite expensive considering the amount of food I ordered. I was quite in a state of shock to pay such a reasonable amount for all the food and dessert I had at ‘Kama’. As a big foodie and non-veg lover, ‘Kama’ has been one of the best restaurants I have ever visited and will continue to visit the same place as much as I can.
