「 ϟ 」 sᴍᴏᴋᴇ & ʟɪɢʜᴛs

「 ϟ 」          This City's more trouble than he bargained for. There's a little bit of everyone running around here. Murderers, villains, heroes, people who aren't even human and whatever else might lurk in the shadows here and while he isn't exactly comfortable having to be on the look out twenty-four seven so that his life won't be put in any necessary danger, it just can't be helped. However he refuses to hole himself up in his apartment and stay scared, that just wasn't him. Plus if anything were to happen to the younger Pokemon trainers here, it'd be his fault for not protecting them. 

                      Sighing, he sits down on the curb of some street. It doesn't really matter to him, Sector oo4 seemed safe for the most part, now if he were to visit the sector over, well. He might be in a bit of trouble if he does that. His Shinx rubs against his leg now, begging to be put onto his lap and with another sigh, he lifts the creature and situates it, giving it's head a couple of pats before reaching into his pocket to pull out a much needed cigarette.

                      But then he remembers, he has no lighter on him and with a few grumbles, he stands up, Shinx now climbing on his shoulder as he does so and he stops someone. ❝ Yo, ❞ a small wave, cigarette in between his fingers and his Shinx gives a small bark as well.

                      ❝ Got a light? ❞

「 ϟ 」          The darkness of the city proves to be a comfort to him. The twinkling lights remind him of Sunyshore so much that he leaves his apartment to admire them. Except he doesn't walk, he just stands and stares, admiring the sight. It's nostalgic and while he hasn't been here long, a part of him misses home. He wonders what everyone is doing, how everyone's doing. What's it like when he isn't around? Better? Perhaps so. 

                      It bothers him, to know that he wouldn't be going home anytime soon. This City was a trap from which you could not escape and it didn't take him long to figure that out. With a sigh, he resigns himself to that fact and it is then that someone bumps him in the dark. It doesn't phase him, though. As he waits for their apology, it's much to his surprise that it is yet another familiar face. Elesa, a fellow gym leader who specializes in electric Pokemon as well. While they haven't spoken much, it's reassuring to know that someone who could possibly understand how he feels is here. ❝ Elesa, ❞ he says, lips threatening to curve into the smallest of smiles as he looks down at her.

                      ❝ Yeah, I'm stuck here too. Just got here yesterday actually. How're things going? It's..nice to see you. ❞

She’s walking, observing the twinkling lights which litter the city. Enchanting, especially at night, and particularly in the shopping district, Hive City manages to catch her eye in the same way that Nimbasa does. It is but a small comfort in a city foreign to her. As she walks, she nearly bumps into someone; not at all a surprise considering the low visibility.

It is entirely with a look of surprise that Elesa takes in the image of a fellow Gym Leader and expert at electric types. While the possibility of meeting Volkner is certainly feasible, she never once thought of an interaction between them at the Hive. Elesa has never truly known the other, speaking to him only once or twice, yet, she is certainly a fan of the other.

“Please, pardon me. Volkner. I did not expect to see you here.”

「 ϟ 」         Eccentric clothing was never anything to be surprised about in Sinnoh, though here he found that people were dressed what one would consider to be "normal" except for a few people in particular and he can't help but ask, ❝ Is that how you usually dress? ❞ to a lone stranger. It wasn't to be taken as rude, but genuine curiosity. ❝ Not like it's a problem or anything. Just sorta different from the average folk I've seen walking around. ❞

「 ϟ 」          It's quite hard to find appropriate food to feed to the little Shinx that was given to him and the little guy had been looking pitiful most of today. He had to find something soon or else, well, this pokemon wouldn't last long. ❝ Hey.. ❞ person walking by, perfect. ❝ Know where I can find...food? ❞ he notions to the small Pokemon hiding behind his legs now before he continues, ❝ I just need to feed him. ❞

This guy'd probably get along with Tucker just fine with his fashion sense. ❝ Didn't know men could rock crop tops so well. ❞ eyebrows raising slowly as he speaks, boy this would sure be a story to tell to Hikari later. ❝ Don't you get cold wearing that thing? ❞

「 ϟ 」          ❝ Sure are a lot of Kanto and Johto folk here, ❞ or at least that's all that he's seen running around, not that he's complaining, he'd be happy to see just about anyone from their universe. At least they understood what he was talking about. ❝ Don't think I know you, got a name? ❞ or maybe he does know, he's just not good with keeping track of people out of his region. Might be a good idea to refresh his memory.
