this is going to sound like such a little sibling ass take but i genuinely believe that being a little bit annoying is actually a greater sign of maturity and self awareness than being universally likeable and on good terms with everyone

Katniss Everdeen/The Archer
I will forever gaslight myself into believing Miss. Swift wrote this for Katniss Everdeen
Combat, I'm ready for combat I say I don't want that, but what if I do? 'Cause cruelty wins in the movies I've got a hundred thrown-out speeches I almost said to you
From Katniss volunteering for Prim at the reaping, the first spark that led to an uncontrollable, unseen, fire that would spread. Then after the games when the rebellion had started in some of the districts and Snow asking if she wanted to be in a real war, which she replied no. Then, as the series goes on she is persuaded to be the face of the rebellion. In the end the cruelest wins in the movies and the speeches for the propos she had thrown out. She was just a girl wanting to save her sister.
Easy they come, easy they go I jump from the train, I ride off alone I never grew up, it's getting so old Help me hold onto you
The congratulations on winning, the adoring 'fans', the flowers and praise, it goes by so quickly, but Katniss does not like what she is being praised for. killing innocent children in an arena.
The train ride on the victory tour of she would shut herself out and walk along the lonely path where Peeta caught up to her and apologized for how he had been acting.
Katniss was a sixteen year old girl when she went into the arena the first time, a child, that has had to grow up too quickly to survive district 12. She may have to grow up quickly, but she's still just a sixteen year old girl who just wants to have a normal of a life of possible. Peeta is the one stability she has to that life.
I've been the archer I've been the prey Who could ever leave me, darling? But who could stay?
Katniss has been the 'archer' the hunter for her family and their survival was depended on her.
She was hunted in the arena by the career packs, she was their prey, their next victim.
Also, who could leave her after she won? Who could ever deny her that small piece of themselves. On the flip side who could deal with the trauma she went through? Her mom and sister try to help, but they can only do so much. Gale is only interested in what her feelings could be for him and not what she went through.
Dark side, I search for your dark side But what if I'm alright, right, right, right here? And I cut off my nose just to spite my face Then I hate my reflection for years and years
She searches for that dark side in Peeta, the one that must exist because no one decent wins the games, but finds out he's just a good decedent, person.
She can't look at herself and the things she has done to survive for her, for her family, and to keep Peeta alive. That reflection looking back at her is someone she does not recognize, nor, does she want to recognize that person
I wake in the night, I pace like a ghost The room is on fire, invisible smoke And all of my heroes die all alone Help me hold onto you
The nightmares that keep her awake, the screams of dead children and the ghosts of everyone she has lost keeps her up at night. She walks the trains to keep her mind at bay.
Finnick, Prim, her father, Boggs, and countless people who lost their lives. All these people Katniss looked up to die alone throughout this series
'Cause they see right through me They see right through me They see right through Can you see right through me? They see right through They see right through me I see right through me I see right through me
All the king's horses, all the king's men Couldn't put me together again 'Cause all of my enemies started out friends Help me hold onto you
Katniss heading into the capital after the first games and having them repair her hearing, to district 13 fixing her up after the rescued her from the arena in Catching fire, and finally after Peeta attacked her and she got shot in district 2. They can fix her up and make her brand new, but that deep trauma will never leave her. They cannot fully put her back together again.
How Coin presented herself as this person who was so against everything the capital stood for, but in the end just wanted the same power as Snow held. They are two sides of the same coin, if you will. Gale, who was her best friend, but ended up being the one who came up with these destructive ideas on how to destroy the people of the capital. His idea led to the death of her sister and that cannot be ignored.
Katniss yearns to hold onto the hope that even after the face of all destruction that peace can be found. She hold onto that hope that Peeta brings to her.
I've been the archer I've been the prey Who could ever leave me, darling? But who could stay? (I see right through me, I see right through me) Who could stay? Who could stay? Who could stay? You could stay You could stay You
After Snow comes and see's her before the victory tour and tell her that not everyone believed their love story. This led to rebellion in the districts and now she feels like everyone can see right through her. She enters into district 13 and that same sense follows her wherever she goes. One of the few people who see Katniss for who she is Peeta, and he can see that she is just a scared girl, but she will do what she can to bring peace.
Who could stay? Let me just quote one of my favorite parts in the series
"Peeta will you stay with me?" "Always"
Combat, I'm ready for combat
Katniss accepting her role as the Mockingjay and all that comes with it. She is ready to never see her loved ones again as she does what needs to be done

I know the girlies found that blonde twincest shit hot (can't relate, though I do love Gracie and did like Tatum) but you simply aren't here for Leighton and her growth if you're mad about her not being with someone who represented the worst parts of herself. Tatum was a mirror in more ways than one and Leighton didn't like what see saw staring back.
This was perfect. This was about character development.
Everything about Leighton's story so far and Alicia and Tatum's parts in it has made sense, and I will never not show appreciation for queer characters -especially lesbians- being written with care.
Thank you, writers. This has been wonderful. She's wonderful.

Jily through the ages - first year - Lily
The car ride to the station was mostly passed in silence. With the exception of the occasional muttering that came from the oldest daughter. The little redheads mother had insisted that everyone should accompany her on the first part of her journey to the new world she was being thrusted into. Therefore the household was awoken at the crack of dawn in order to arrive at the peculiar platform on time. Much to her sisters dismay. LIly’s head was swarming with emotions and worry was the most prominent one. What if this was just some big elaborate way for everyone to humiliate her. Her best friend, Sev wouldn’t have talked to her a few years ago if she wasn’t one though would he. Lily felt like she was different to other people of her birth since she had known about the wizarding world for a while now. Although that fact didn’t stop her from being worried out of her mind that she wouldn’t be good enough. Lily found she was being roughly shoved from one end of the pool to another than being thrown in the deep end. Although this fact did little to reassure her at this point.
Once they had reached the station, Lily’s nerves kicked into overdrive. As much as she was excited for the magical school, she couldn’t see any obvious way to get there. Lily scanned the crowd to see if there was anyone who looked out of the ordinary. This effort proved useless, the wizarding world had done a very good job at concealing themselves. Running out of options, Lily braced herself and ran at the wall where her platform should be, that’s what Sev had told her to do in the first place.
Opening her eyes that Lily had squeezed shut expecting the impact, Lily thought her face must have looked comical. With the wide eyes and hanging mouth that she was sporting. Thankfully she remembered herself just enough to get her family through the entrance before, she let her eyes explore every detail she could possibly find. She looked at everything down to the magical billboards that were flashing above and the scarlet colour of the steam train. Everything was so much more than she possibly could have imagined. As her excitement outweighed the nervousness she was feeling, Lily could wait to tell Sev of everything she could see. Pulling her gaze away from the train she began darting her eyes through the crowd on the platform. Though her curiosity didn’t die away since Lily began noticing the interesting people all around her. Parents saying tearful farewells, older students running around after their friends and animals in their holders having conversations across the platform. Eventually her eyes landed on a family with a boy that looked around her age. He had messy dark hair and bright hazel eyes with flecks of gold that were crinkled with laughter at a joke his mother had told whilst she was trying her best to tame his unruly hair. She looked as though she had been very beautiful with her fading red hair and identical eyes to her son’s. The man next to them was shaking his head softly at their antics in an amused way. He looked identical to the boy and looked like his son would do if he magically aged, this look was complete by the matching grins that spread across their faces when they both looked at the mother. Lily assumed them to be a pure blood family due to their dress. It was a weird style but it suited them well, like they were made to have beautiful and expensive clothes (which the theory of them being a pure blood only emphasised this fact). She also guessed it by the way the boy didn’t look nervous to be attending Hogwarts at all but rather like he’d been waiting for this day for years. Although they were different from what Sev had told her pure blood families usually were, these people looked content with each other right then and that nothing could change that. Lily wondered how a family so close could possibly say goodbye but before she could observe closer she was twirled around and engulfed by the auburn hair of her mother.
After a tearful goodbye, Lily stood on the train trying to push away all thoughts of her sister. She still couldn’t see Sev but decided that she wouldn’t stand around like a lemon waiting there for him but instead would find somewhere to sit and wait for her best friend to find her. Eventually, Lily found a compartment that was almost empty. There was only one occupant in there and he looked to be around her age. However unlike her, Sev and the platform boy, he was much taller. He had soft sandy curls that fell just into his eyes that were amber. He wore an oversized sweater that looked as though it had gone through many washes and his body was littered with scars, but they seemed to decorate his skin more than blemish it.  Upon enticing her appearance he offered her a small smile, which cut Lily out from her observations and made her blush. She had to fight the urge to run away and force herself to make a polite introduction and stumble into the compartment. The boy in front of her didn’t seem like he wanted to be bothered so lily kept to herself and began scanning her surroundings once more. These thoughts were interrupted however when the door was opened and platform boy made his appearance. Lily’s curiosity about him died down a bit when he seemed perfectly comfortable to give her and the other boy (she still didn’t know his name) his asic life story. She quickly learnt that James Potter was in fact a pure blood but he and his family didn’t have that good of a reputation at the moment due to the fact that they were known blood traitors. Lily made a mental note to ask Sev to tell her more about blood traitors. She found herself rolling her eyes at his performance and resolved to give him a soft smile in recognition before turning back to gaze out the window. Once Lily was fully invested in her surroundings, James Potter turned his attention onto the lanky boy in the corner. Suddenly Lily felt annoyed with James Potter for not seeing that this boy was clearly imerced in his own thoughts much like she was, but instead Potter had disturbed him. To further Lily’s irritation of him, the boy seemed to welcome Potter’s distraction. Although it seemed irrational Lily already felt that he had bested her when they hadn’t even started their journey to the school yet. Like she had already failed and she had proved she wasn’t a worthy witch. It was then that Lily made a vow to herself that she would never let James Potter unknowingly out do her again.
After a few minutes of conversation between Potter and Remus Lupin (She had learnt his name now) The door once again opened and a boy that looked like he came straight out of a Victorian movie her dad had made her watch appeared. Though his dress looked like it was purposely messy with his ruffles crinkled, shirt sticking out, shoes scuffed and cuffs undone. Lily thought that he was trying a petty revenge at the person who had made him wear the outfit. He wasn’t all messy though, his hair was neat and trimmed to perfection, it was glossy and thick and fell just above his shoulders perfectly. His eyes completed this unusual look as they were a startling grey and looked strangely tired for someone his age. Lily felt Potter stiffen his attitude at the boy’s appearance, like he knew who the boy was already and they didn’t have the best experience. Nevertheless he still managed to make a polite introduction for himself and everyone else in the compartment. This only furthered her annoyance with the boy and she looked at Remus for support in this judgement but he just looked relieved that Potter had saved him from talking to the boy. The boy in the doorway caught her face and he smiled, not a mean smile but like a true smile (in Lily’s opinion it looked like it was the first one in many years). James also caught this smile and immediately seemed to warm up to the boy and this friendliness only grew when the boy seemed thrilled at the idea to sit with a Potter, like it was some kind of rebellious act that he found amusing. Lily felt like she had missed something huge. She was sure that Sirius Black was also a pure blood and his family disliked the Potter’s but she couldn’t see why. Of course the obvious was pure blood ideology, but she only knew little about that. Sev had tried to avoid that topic whenever it came up, so she understood it to be quite serious. Lily didn’t have much time to ponder these thoughts as soon as another person occupied the compartment. He was smaller than the rest of them and still had his baby fat. He also had mousy blond hair and small watery eyes. Again Lily felt like she was missing something as the new boy took one look at Potter and grinned but upon seeing Sirius Black he hesitated a bit, before Potter pulled him back down to reality by helping the boy lug his trunk in.
The train started to pull out of the station and the boys scrambled to the window to wave goodbye to their loved ones. Sirius Black however seemed more interested in his luggage than the waving crowd. Lily turned around and waved happily towards her parents who beamed in reply, but Lily’s attention was caught by Petunia who glared at her through the glass before the train disappeared on its journey. As the boys returned to settling themselves in conversation, Lily’s face fixed more on the window. She had to blink back her tears and tried to shove her sister out of her mind for what felt like the millionth time that day. She knew she shouldn’t let Petunia get to her but it was so hard. Whilst Lily was concentrating on her thoughts, she saw the London houses become fields. She was only slightly aware of what was happening behind her and she distantly heard the opening of the compartment door once again, although strangely this time when the boys made an introduction, there was silence and instead she felt a weight fall down by her side. Curious to see who it was that was admittedly rude to the boys she turned around. There she met the face of Sev who looked at her red puffy eyes in concern before asking the problem. Strangely his first thought was the boys she was sat next to and once he had been corrected he misjudged her expression and started a whispered conversation about her sister. Lily knew that her best friend only meant well but it still angered her to hear him talk about her sister in that way.
As the one sided conversation wore on, Lily became more aware of the other boys’ stares in her direction. Lily promptly sent a glare back to them. However they seemed determined to worsen her mood when they forced Sev and her to engage in a conversation with them, before indirectly insulting her and Sev. They had purposely hurt them when they had done nothing to them except not pay attention to them. When Lily and her best friend had stormed out, Sev continued to berate them and Lily could only agree. However this only seemed to give Sev more courage and the rest of the journey was spent abusing the compartment boys.
Lily’s irritation with the compartment boys only seemed to increase at the sorting. How was it that those jerks could be in the same house as her but Sev wasn’t. Lily again knew that this was irrational, because if it was anyone else she wouldn’t have cared. But she did and these boys were able to get under her skin so easily. Once realising this fact, Lily grew even more annoyed with them. The rest of the year followed the same theme, Lily would be constantly annoyed with the boys but the only ones who felt the same were the Slytherin’s and Lily found that none of them would ever want to talk to her (except for Sev). Everyone seemed to love them, they had somehow been recognised and even the older years who never bothered with fist years like herself seemed to appreciate all they did. The boys would pull childish pranks on innocent victims, but no one seemed to care. She even noticed some of the professors chuckle to themselves at a particularly clever trick they had pulled. The teachers loved them despite all the mayhem that they caused and they quickly learnt that detentions wouldn’t work on these gits so just didn’t bother issuing proper punishments to them. After all they were only first years. McGonagall seemed the only one who could possibly control them and that was because the boys seemed to crave her approval. However Lily caught even her have a small smile to herself when her back was turned so the boys couldn’t see.
Lily had done her best to pass under their radar as much as she could being in the same year, classes and house with them. This attempt proved to be a slight success as often the boys had a project to occupy their attention away from her. Although she found out from Sev that their projects often involved him or the other Slytherin’s being targeted. Lily found her dislike only grew from this information. What they were doing wasn’t right and they were getting away with it. Someone had to put them in their place. Lily found herself leaving her first year with a new found attitude and a determination to put Potter and the rest of them in place when the next school year started.

The chronicle of the monk Herbert of Reichenau for the year 1021 ends “My brother Werner was born on November 1.“
1021 was not an uneventful year. The emperor began a campaign into Italy. Illustrious abbots died. There was an earthquake. But Herbert took the time to note, at the end of the year, that his brother was born.
Of such acts of tenderness is history made.

Guarda "Boy Meets World: Shawn and Angela's Doomed Romance" su YouTube
youtube
Until 23:36 minute I totally agreed because it's very insightful not just on Shawn and Angela's relationship but on Boy Meets World in general too.
But I genuinely disagree with the end of this video and I am going to explain why.
• First of all things I totally disagree on defining Shawn and Angela's relationship as toxic.
Sure they both were emotionally unstable and the fact that they were always compared to Cory and Topanga did not allow their relationship to grow besides those two who were emotionally privileged. But both Shawn and Angela developed a beautiful relationship besides the fact of them being a couple or not. In season 6 they've basically broken up but they are still into each other.
Shawn himself said to Topanga that Angela is the only one he can talk to about things that he can't tell anyone (not even Cory, he said and that means a lot).
Also Angela comforted Shawn when he lost his father, and when they kissed at the Matthews' house on Christmas Eve she's still in love with him... but when Shawn said that he didn't know what he wanted then Angela let him alone. Surely it was heartbreaking for her but she did let him finding his own way.
They were not toxic at all. They simply navigated towards feelings that were too strong for them (who were deeply traumatised since they were kids) to understand clearly. They lived those feelings for each other being insecure about what real love felt like.
What made me love Shawn and Angela's love story is that beside the romantic aspects they were two human beings who deeply care about each other. And that is clear through all their seasons together.
If we want to speak about toxicity then we must take Cory and Topanga's relationship as a clear example of what a true toxic relationship looks like:
- codependence, because they're both literally incapable of spending a second without the other one and that's frustrating and irritating to watch... they were not cute, they were creepy and absolutely unsufferable;
- trust issues, and mister Cory Matthews was an expert on this topic but also Topanga at some points;
- at the bare minimum suspect of unhappiness or instability they were ready to tear apart their relationship: the episode in season 7 when Topanga broke up with Cory because her parents divorced is too dumb.
During the series Cory and Topanga's relationship seems stable but at the same time they're both immature even to accept the problems of being married at college: they married at 19... they were still teenagers! They didn't had the emotional maturity to accept every implications of marriage. While Shawn and Angela lived together and they were already happy because they didn't need to be married to explore what's like to live with your partner.
Shawn and Angela were more mature than Cory and Topanga who acted childshly until the very last episode.
Surely Shawn and Angela had their own problems but they eventually found a way to solve them. They were the only realistic couple of the show and it's funny that writers said that it wouldn't been realistic for them to be endgame. So at this point the most realistic thing that would have happened was also Cory and Topanga's divorce. Just saying.
But again... this video has a very good point on telling that the main problem with Shawn and Angela was them (especially Shawn) constantly mirroring their relationship to Cory and Topanga's one.
Just... Shawn and Angela were NOT toxic.
Their families traumas deeply affected their mental health and their emotional stability. But they were not toxic to each other. Never. That's should be clear.
• I agree totally with the fact that Shawn letting Angela go to Europe with her father was a sign of maturity from him to let her heal. But I disagree completely about their endings on GMW.
Besides the fact that GMW is totally incoherent with BMW especially towards characters from the previous show, the most problematic moment of GMW was the treatment given to Shawn and Angela's relationship.
The problem is not the fact that they were not endgame. The problem is reducing this beautiful and deep love story they had to a "mistake" that Shawn made.
In GMW Shawn said that he loved Angela because he thought he was supposed to... excuse me? Did you forget about all the poems you have written for her? Or the fact that she was the only one who understood you on a deeper level? That she was the only one who made you realize what true love feels like?
On GMW the writers wanted us to believe that everything Shawn and Angela had been through was irrelevant because they were not truly in love with each other. And this just because they wanted to set Katy Hart as the Right One for Shawn.
Do you know what's that? Poor writing.
There was absolutely no need to erase the deep meaning of Shawn and Angela's relationship to have an excuse to say that Katy was the right one for Shawn. And we could talk about the fact that most of Katy's attitudes mirror what Chet did to Shawn but with Maya. Even with the exception that Katy did not abandoned her daughter but she constantly ignores her and this neglectful attitude I seriously doubt that Shawn would have married her. But anyway.
It was easier for the writers to let down Shawn and Angela's love story and erase the importance that both of them had in each other's lives. You can still give credit and importance to a previous relationship which is not endgame and still set up the final endgame.
But no. Writers erased their history. They rewrote canon (in a perfect J K Rowling style) and they gave us that piece of garbage which is "Girl Meets Hurricane" where Angela is a sort of villain who broke poor Shawn's heart leaving him for Europe.
Even with the fact that she did NOT left him. She left for Europe to spend some time with her dad but she never wanted to break up with Shawn (she also said to him that they would have written and phoned every day, so that means that she wanted to try to continue a long-distance relationship with him).
Alright it's surely realistic that one year apart could have affected their relationship, but Angela never meant to leave Shawn. She never wanted to.
But as I said the writers rewrote completely canon putting up the excuse that Angela abandoned Shawn. Which is totally untrue. She would never did that.
And if she wanted to break up because she could have possibly changed her mind on pursuing a long-distance relationship she would have at least talked to Shawn.
Angela's characterization was totally ruined in GMW and so Shawn's one.
The main problem with "Girl Meets Hurricane" is that writers made Angela coming back for a nonsense reason and Trina McGee also said that she wasn't happy with the way her character came back on GMW: she also said (and this made me laugh because she's absolutely right) that in her opinion Angela would have never asked for advice on having kids because she was always capable to decide for herself.
Unless at this point we can totally say that she asked an advice from Shawn because he's the only one she felt comfortable on this particular topic since Angela's still deeply wounded by her mother's abandonement and so she's scared of becoming a mother herself. And after all this years she still want to see her ex boyfriend because of this? What about her husband? Did he not understand her at this point? This made me think that maybe... just maybe Shawn and Angela's door is not closed after all. Just let's look about Shawn's breath is taken away when he sees her walking through that door.
The chemistry between Rider Strong and Trina McGee was excellent even after all those years.
Anyway in conclusion...
I can accept that they were not together (to be fair I can accept the uncertanity of them not being together after BMW finale).
What I cannot accept is the bad treatment their love story had from writers in GMW.
There was really no need to rewrote canon just to put Shawn with another woman.
Unless writers did that because they knew exactly the amount of love that Shawn and Angela had from the audience which was definitely superior than Cory and Topanga.
Because Shawn and Angela were for sure more realistic than Cory and Topanga.
Irony of this that writers erased them in the name of realism: if we want to make realistic things Cory and Topanga would have splitten up.
Speaking of this video it was very insightful and well done.
But it misses a lot of points that needed to be figure out.

“betty”, queer literary theory, and too much time on my hands: an essay
a.k.a., i’ve been out of school for a month & i miss in-depth literary analysis.
I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff about how we shouldn’t think too much about the queer implications of “Betty”, and as an aspiring queer literary studies phd I just… cannot vibe, u guys. Cannot vibe. So here is me, in my academic chaos, discussing the queer literary history of what Taylor Swift does in “Betty”. I’m going to start with the assumption that James is male. You may disagree with this - maybe I even do - but Taylor Swift’s pattern of speaking as a guy to a girl in her songs is what I’m considering here; “Betty” is the most blatant example of this.
In literary theory, there is something called “the triangulation of desire”. Rene Girard is considered one of the pioneers of this, and he explains it as three roles: the subject, the model, and the object. The subject does not desire the object directly, as this is, for some reason or another, non-normative desire. This can mean that the subject desires the model, who desires the object (think of a woman desiring a man who desires another woman; she obsesses over their relationship because her real desire is the woman.) This can also be a way to create a boundary between subject and object - the subject is not queer, the model is queer and the subject is merely paying attention.
One of my favorite examples of this is Walt Whitman’s poem Song of Myself, XI. In this poem, a woman watches twenty-eight men bathe from inside her house. The woman is hardly mentioned; the poem is focused on the erotic and sensual details of the male body. Whitman uses the woman as the model, so as to not directly describe his non-normative desire. It is a kind of defense so he is exempt from judgment for expressing this desire.
Considering “Betty” on its own, outside of the other two songs, it is the perfect example of a triangulation of desire. Taylor is the subject, James is the model, and Betty is the object. While James might be male (thus making the relationship a normative one), Taylor is not. She is singing/writing from his point of view, yes, but it is still Taylor singing/writing. If we take the song as “from her imagination”, she is telling a fictional story from the point of view of a guy who wants to kiss a girl – this is still a triangulation. Taylor is singing about kissing a girl and James as a male voice is not the subject, but a defensive model so she can safely desire the object.
Taylor has done this throughout her career, by switching the pronouns in the final stanzas of her songs: “she is the best thing that’s ever been mine” / “marry me juliet” / “man i didn’t kiss her and i should have”, or by making the whole song from a male point of view in “How You Get The Girl”. (I’d argue that “Betty” is more direct than HYGTG, because the former is speaking to a woman, whereas the latter is aimed at “you”.)
I’m not saying you have to believe that Taylor Swift is queer, or that this is definitive proof. I’m saying that if her lyrics were studied, outside of any context of who she is, in any kind of academia, it would be assumed that she’s queer. So maybe, before you dismiss this, consider what exactly you’re bringing to the table that makes you certain she isn’t.
if u actually read all of this… holy shit. thanks. ily

Welcome to a Realistic Kaylor Timeline
Welcome. You’re probably here because you’ve started to think that pop superstar Taylor Swift is… Shall we say… A teeny bit fruity… And you know what? You’re not alone. Many people think that. In fact, over the course of her illustrious career, gay rumors have continuously cropped up linking her to various women. Do I know for a fact that this is what happened? Lmao no. But I (with the help of various friends but mostly importantly @adastrabella) tried to explain what might’ve happened.
We thank you for reading this Magnum Opus:
1) Welcome to the first “Realistic” Kaylor Masterpost
2) Debunking Joshlie’s Reasons to “Beard”
3) Joshlie starts
4) Back in Tay’s World
5) Kaylor Rises?
6) Things Get Messy
7) Taylor Showmances
8) Kaylor Reunited?
9) Joshlie Back for Good
10) 2016′s Summer of Mess
11) Debunking Late Stage Kaylor Myths
12) Late Stage Kaylor and Beyond
What will the various essays above prove? (Gd I wish there were thirteen instead of twelve because it’d be SO MUCH MORE I C O N I C). Well, nothing seeing as how we don’t know these people. But here’s what we think maybe happened:
My vibe is: Kaylor was real in some way, but Joshlie was very very real and flawed too, making things far more complicated than traditional Kaylor narratives would have had you believe. We’ve only shown a portion of Joshlie evidence - this is the realest relationship I’ve seen online. Kaylor started as a real friendship from a few encounters pre-November 2013, then became a PR alliance to help both girls promotion during the 1989 #GirlSquad era. However, when Joshlie went on break, Karlie and Taylor went to Big Sur together, starting the relationship that would bring us into this mess. It was a hot mess for a few years, until the end of 2016, when, after a summer of spiraling due to Karlie choosing Josh and a number of professional difficulties, Taylor ran away to London and cut Karlie off. Taylor and Karlie have been on different paths ever since, except for the Reputation tour in Nashville, and the Masters Heist, neither of which is a particularly good or happy event for either of them. folklore’s track hoax is for Karlie. Kaylor is now dead and Karlie is very pregnant and having a baby with her husband, Josh. Mazels 🦒 and 🦖!! Taylor is re-recording her masters. Everyone has moved on. Except maybe us (but now we’ve read this, maybe we can too). So.
