And I did, yeah, but I’m afraid to say that the beard will be staying so the only way you’ll get to see the dimples is with an up close and personal view. Though I’d hardly complain about that, considering it would mean I’d get an up close and personal view of you, too.

I don’t know, I think everyone was a little awkward in high school so you’re not alone with that. I’m just not sure that the beard does that much to change things for you. At least if you ever just feel too lazy to shave, you can grow out the beard until you feel like getting rid of it.

Well, it’s nice to sort of officially meet you. I doubt that’s actually the case, but I guess I could understand being somewhat surprised by something that you’re not expecting to see. It shouldn’t be something that scares off anyone.

Oh, I wasn’t awkward... I just didn’t look good without any facial hair. Here, I’ll even show you a picture so you can judge for yourself. But don’t say I didn’t warn you, alright? And while that’s true... I don’t think I’ll ever let it get out of control. Even during No Shave November, where even trimming is discouraged, I still found myself trimming.

It’s nice to pseudo-meet you, too. And trust me, it is. Not so much adults, but the kids around here? Well, let’s just say I had a kid told his mom that I still had my Halloween makeup on.

Well, the loud part isn’t really what bothers me - at least not now - but it’s the crowd that bothers me because they see the dog and immediately want to pet him despite the vest specifically saying ‘do not pet’. He’s a black labrador retriever, though - I wound up getting him after I got out of the VA to help me out after the injuries I sustained and all.

Hey, you can give me your name and I’ll still call you beautiful - your name definitely doesn’t detract from how gorgeous you are, or the fact that I have no qualms telling you as much. But nice to psuedo-meet you, too, Dana. So, what do you do around here?

A three layer scruff, huh? So are we saying that the layer I’ve got going on now is good, or trim it down a bit? I’m just trying to get a visual for that. And since you’re my boss, I guess I’ve got to listen to you - keep the beard so I can help bring in more clients, right? And yeah, I know that some people find scars sexy, and I’m not exactly ashamed of them, but some people can be scared of them, too. Especially since I tend to work without my shirt on, thus giving people an even better look at them.

Oh no I absolutely love that song, it’s such a great song and it reminds me of Mean Girls. Oh gosh you are 100% right there, why people think they can harmonise to a song sometimes bothers me? Like if it fits then fine go for it, but if it doesn’t please don’t. 

Nice to meet you Rafael, oh really? Might have to check that out, I want to get into working out and learn self defense but been so scared. 

It’s because the ones that usually go out caroling are the ones you’d really rather they not. Now if it was like a church choir going around? That’s different because they’ve trained their voices and actually know how to harmonize but... regular people that just love Christmas? Not so much.

Wouldn’t you be more scared if someone came up to you and you didn’t know how to defend yourself? You might be scared now, but once you learn how to be able to defend yourself, you’ll be more in control of yourself and the situations out there. And I’m not just saying that as someone that’s wanting to earn himself another client, but as someone that wants to make sure everyone is safe from those that would do them harm.

I would think they’d try to be accommodating.  But you’re not wrong on the everyone needing to defend themselves.  But hey, if you are interested in another sparing partner, give me a call.  I’ve not had an opportunity to spar with an actual person in a while. 

Yeah.  I mean I’m disciplined but by that point the constantly being told what to do and not ever questioning it was getting old.  

I’m sure they would, but it’s an easy thing to forget and then they might turn to look at whatever they’re instructing me on as they’re talking and thus leave me clueless. I’m definitely down. Though I’ll warn you - I don’t just box... I also know karate, a bit of wrestling, and of course the MCMAP. But I’ll refrain from using anything other than my hands if you aren’t capable of partaking in any of those other martial arts.

It’s not for everyone, that’s for sure... Though if you ask me, it’s not wrong to question some things. We have free will for a reason, you know.
