“    No, I haven’t.    ”    Shyvana huffed and smoke came out her nostrils. She had other means of getting high up in the air if she wanted a good view, it’s just that she couldn’t exactly say that to a complete stranger. So instead, she licked her lips and tilted her head a little, reptilian pupils dilating slightly.

“    But if I wanted to, what would be the best place to start?    ”

Shyvana’s eyes narrowed as she looked at Lux in a way that might have terrified some Demacians  —  between her reptilian eyes and the fire within them, her stare was nothing if not scalding. She shouldn’t have been so worked up over a small thing but alas, her temper got the best of her as usual.

She sat down on the edge of the rock and swung her legs out over the edge, plopping her hands town beside herself in either side for added balance as she continued to look at Lux. Finally, her mood seemed to lift the smallest bit. The fire in her eyes died down a tad, as did the burning sensation in her chest.

“    Fine, speak your piece.    ”

She would very much like to see the raptors. Shyvana had seen them before, on the battlefield, but so rarely had she had a chance to be around animals that didn’t fear her. The raptors, she hoped, would be different. She found that she very much liked that Vladimir just assumed she’d be interested in them, too.

“    I would.    ”    Came her raspy voice. Shyvana put her tools down and straightened up  —  not that it made her appear any more mighty due to her size. Though, as she started off next to the other, doubts began to creep in.

“    I’m Shyvana. Most animals are wary of me. How do you know your raptors won’t be?    ”

WOMAN  WITH  THE  SHINY  WEAPON.

The duelist looked down at the smaller woman as she finally turned to face her. Frankly, the comment was quite sweet, so much so that it made her let out a quiet scoff in amusement.

“ And why would you? ”  she casually asked, fixing her posture as her bright blue gaze shifted back towards the students. They were taking things more seriously, which was good. A lot could still be done, but she’ll address that once they’re done with this spar. It was taking quite some time, which was impressively boring to the noblewoman, but it seemed like Shyvana was enjoying herself. Good.

“ Contrary to what most believe, I’m not one to simply berate others. But that wasn’t the first time those boys prefer to fool around rather than practice. ”  She added, lightly motioning to the two apprentices which, by the way, had just finished their duel, one of them hovering their blade just by the other’s throat.

Fiora would get up then, advising them that they had trained enough for now and to go pick their belongings. She’d turn to the half-dragon, a hand motioning to the training area,  “ Would you like to try? They’ll be on a break for a while. ”  Perhaps it could even help with her posture, who knows.

While  she  failed  to  see  the  point  as  to  why  she  should  learn  how  to  use  a  rapier  ——  or  at  least,  try  to  learn  ——  Shyvana  huffed  in  a  way  that  caused  smoke  to  come  out  of  her  nostrils  &  then  got  up.  She  walked  over  towards  where  Fiora  had  pointed  to,  standing  rather  awkwardly  in  the  center  of  the  training  area.

Surely  she  did  not  need  to  be  taught  how  to  fight.  Not  when  she  had  already  spent  a  life  learning  how  to  fend  for  herself  &  yes,  how  to  fight.  Surely  she  was  more  than  capable  &  perhaps  this  was  just  an  insult  to  her  skill?  Another  huff  escaped  her  before  she  could  stop  it,  more  smoke  forming  before  her  features.

❛    Surely  my  own  weapons  are  plenty  capable  in  a  fight.    ❜    Shyvana  said,  finally.  Her  reptilian  eyes  remained  focused  on  Fiora  as  she  walked  ——  every  little  movement  was  noticed.  She  glanced  towards  Fiora’s  weapon  then,  once  again  distracted  as  a  ray  of  light  caught  the  broad  side  of  it.

As  stated  a  while  back,  she  likes  shiny,  especially  golden  items.  The  heavier  the  better.  &  yes,  people  can  absolutely  win  her  favor  by  gifting  her  useless  junk  like  cutlery,  metal  bits,  etc.  etc.  Only  her  most  trusted  individuals  may  see  the  hoard,  though.
