*Wedding.Con* Documentary-series amazon prime Review.

Name of the show ‘Wedding.Con’ is sheer genius idea of team, which you will realize after watching the series.

Story of ‘Wedding.Con’ revolves around 5 women who are seeking a hand in marriage, create profiles on different matrimonial websites. They get exploited by conmen posing as grooms online on those matrimonial websites. These women end up losing huge money and getting emotionally manipulated.

The way all 5 women have spoken up about their deepest wounds they got with such openness that it gives chills to you as a viewer. Even some were in silhouettes, still their emotions were so impeccable that they will touch your hearts.

Script writing is good, even though there wasn’t much to tell from a writer’s perspective, it was the way he managed to bring together the interviews and intertwine that with the enactment of the situation really well. Those enactments feel so real as if the entire con is happening right in front of you.

Direction of this series is of sheer class. A docu-series has come which has tried not to preach but just tell the situation of a problem just as it is. The raw emotions of the women telling their stories were so aesthetically put in that you’re pinched by the situation.

The background music blend seems so true that it gives you a feel of the gravity of the situation. In some situations it made the intensity of what the woman was saying come out so effectively.

Cinematography, you dont ask too much if you are real lover of a docu-series(interview-driven), so its all okay on part of cinematography.

Editing was one fine part of this docu-series, the way they seamlessly maintained the flow of the story to understand which story is of which woman. Also, to be able to keep the series to just 5 episodes was brilliant.

So it is a brilliant showcasing of real-life fraud cases of women getting duped for money and emotional support by fraudsters in the online matchmaking industry. The way the tales of the women are narrated, makes you feel so connected to what’s happened to them. You end up feeling their pain.

In the end, if you have reched to this para by holistically reading the whole review, i would strongly suggest this docu-series to everyone, be it so called aspiring parents for their loved daughters, be it, girls themselves, having fairy tail dreams of so called horse riding Rajkumars. Its an eye-opener to all.

Finally i would go with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*रक्षा-बंधन का सामाजिक प्रसंग*

इस दिन बहनें अपने भाई के दायें हाथ पर राखी बाँधकर उसके माथे पर तिलक करती हैं और उसकी दीर्घ आयु की कामना करती हैं। बदले में भाई उनकी रक्षा का वचन देता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि राखी के रंगबिरंगे धागे भाई-बहन के प्यार के बन्धन को मज़बूत करते है। यह एक ऐसा पावन पर्व है जो भाई-बहन के पवित्र रिश्ते को पूरा आदर और सम्मान देता है।

रक्षाबन्धन आत्मीयता और स्नेह के बन्धन से रिश्तों को मज़बूती प्रदान करने का पर्व है। यही कारण है कि इस अवसर पर न केवल बहन भाई को ही अपितु अन्य सम्बन्धों में भी रक्षा (या राखी) बाँधने का प्रचलन है। गुरु शिष्य को रक्षासूत्र बाँधता है तो शिष्य गुरु को। भारत में प्राचीन काल में जब स्नातक अपनी शिक्षा पूर्ण करने के पश्चात गुरुकुल से विदा लेता था तो वह आचार्य का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने के लिए उसे रक्षासूत्र बाँधता था जबकि आचार्य अपने विद्यार्थी को इस कामना के साथ रक्षासूत्र बाँधता था कि उसने जो ज्ञान प्राप्त किया है वह अपने भावी जीवन में उसका समुचित ढंग से प्रयोग करे ताकि वह अपने ज्ञान के साथ-साथ आचार्य की गरिमा की रक्षा करने में भी सफल हो। इसी परम्परा के अनुरूप आज भी किसी धार्मिक विधि विधान से पूर्व पुरोहित यजमान को रक्षासूत्र बाँधता है और यजमान पुरोहित को। इस प्रकार दोनों एक दूसरे के सम्मान की रक्षा करने के लिये परस्पर एक दूसरे को अपने बन्धन में बाँधते हैं।

रक्षाबन्धन पर्व सामाजिक और पारिवारिक एकबद्धता या एकसूत्रता का सांस्कृतिक उपाय रहा है। विवाह के बाद बहन पराये घर में चली जाती है। इस बहाने प्रतिवर्ष अपने सगे ही नहीं अपितु दूरदराज के रिश्तों के भाइयों तक को उनके घर जाकर राखी बाँधती है और इस प्रकार अपने रिश्तों का नवीनीकरण करती रहती है। दो परिवारों का और कुलों का पारस्परिक योग (मिलन) होता है। समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों के बीच भी एकसूत्रता के रूप में इस पर्व का उपयोग किया जाता है। इस प्रकार जो कड़ी टूट गयी है उसे फिर से जागृत किया जा सकता है।

आज यह त्योहार हमारी संस्कृति की पहचान है और हर भारतवासी को इस त्योहार पर गर्व है। आज कई भाइयों की कलाई पर राखी सिर्फ इसलिए नहीं बंध पाती क्योंकि उनकी बहनों को उनके माता-पिता ने इस दुनिया में आने ही नहीं दिया। यह बहुत ही शर्मनाक बात है कि जिस देश में कन्या-पूजन का विधान शास्त्रों में है वहीं कन्या-भ्रूण हत्या के मामले सामने आते हैं। यह त्योहार हमें यह भी याद दिलाता है कि बहनें हमारे जीवन में कितना महत्व रखती हैं।

भाइयों और बहनों के लिए रक्षा बंधन का एक विशेष महत्व है। यह त्योहार सिर्फ सामान्य लोगों द्वारा ही नहीं मनाया जाता है, बल्कि इसे देवी-देवताओं द्वारा भी भाई-बहन के इस पवित्र रिश्ते को कायम रखने के लिए मनाया जाता है।

राखी का भाईयों-बहनों के लिए एक खास महत्व है। इनमें से कई सारे भाई-बहन एक-दूसरे से व्यावसायिक और व्यक्तिगत कारणों से मिल नहीं पाते, लेकिन इस विशेष अवसर पर वह एक-दूसरे के लिए निश्चित रुप से समय निकालकर इस पवित्र पर्व को मनाते हैं, जो कि इसकी महत्ता को दर्शाता है। हमें इस महान और पवित्र त्योहार के आदर्श की रक्षा करते हुए इसे नैतिक भावों के साथ खुशी-खुशी मनाना चाहिए।
