So they're deporting him over something that happened 15 years ago-- which he already served his time and was resolved 12 years ago.
Park was in prison for three years starting in 2009. Drugs were easily within reach, but he said he lost all desire for them.
After his release, Park moved to Hawaii, where his family was living at the time. He found work at a car dealership in Honolulu, where he spent 10 years while raising his son and daughter. Watching them grow into kind, successful adults was his greatest blessing, he said.
So he served time, turns his life around, continues meeting mandatory immigration hearings; he is going through the legal process.
That changed earlier this month. At a meeting with local ICE officials in Hawaii, Park said he was warned that he would be detained and deported unless he left voluntarily within the next few weeks.
So, Park booked his flight and spent his final days in the U.S. — playing one last round of golf with his friends, savoring Hawaii's famous garlic shrimp, and enjoying time with his children and 85-year-old mother.
" I have to accept the fact that this is probably the last time I'll see her," he said.
Trump's Gestapo strikes again.
✅ Legal Resident
✅ Followed the legal process
✅ Worked a job
✅ Paid taxes
✅ Raised a family
He is getting deported for the crime of not being white in Trump's America.

When the U.S. House last month approved cutting Medicaid by $793 billion over the next 10 years, the Kentucky Hospital Association issued a surprisingly upbeat statement thanking the Kentucky Republicans who voted for the legislation, especially Rep. Brett Guthrie of Bowling Green.
Guthrie had used his clout as chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee to protect a Medicaid funding stream that Kentucky hospitals say is critical to their survival.
That funding stream now is at risk in the U.S. Senate, which is proposing even steeper cuts than the House to the federal-state program that pays for 1 in 3 Kentuckians’ health care.
If proposals from the Senate Finance Committee become law, “you’ll have hospitals closed, services eliminated and 20,000 jobs eliminated” in Kentucky, warns Nancy Galvagni, president and CEO of the Kentucky Hospital Association.
“We’re encouraging our senators to support the House language on state directed payments,” Galvagni said Tuesday in an interview.
While Republican senators from some states are voicing worries similar to those of Kentucky hospitals, Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell had a different message for Senate Republicans in a closed meeting Tuesday, reports Punchbowl News.
“I know a lot of us are hearing from people back home about Medicaid. But they’ll get over it,” McConnell was reported as saying.

Well he's not actually trying to stop it, he's just trying to make it look like that's something he wants because he's literally straddling the fence and saying opposite things to both sides of it

LAST WEEK
You're literally doxing your own when you're trying to find out people's identities like this. Why not put all this damn energy that's going towards endangering our own and actually put it towards finding counter-protesters say Nazi / racist shit?
oh also? An absolutely freaky thing I'm seeing yt leftists do?
STOP TRYING TO TRACK DOWN PROTESTORS THAT DO 'BADASS STUFF'. STOP POSTING ABOUT IT ONLINE.
PEOPLE FUCKING DIE.
AND IT'S USUALLY SOMEONE MELANATED.
THE GOVERNMENT IS WATCHING YOU FUCKING DUMBASS.
y'all are so stuck on egoistic heroism that every time someone does something 'sick' at a protest you wanna turn them in to the next celebrity to have a parasocial relationship with and then they go missing.
Tf is wrong w y'all.

A dinosaur obsessed 12 year old studied fossils and found a 69 million year old hadrosaur skeleton embedded in rock while hiking. A fisherman in Australia noticed tiny shrimp in his net that looked slightly different from the others and he sent a few specimens to biologists for testing. Turned out to be a never before described species, going unnoticed in a popular lake. I posted a pic ~here on tumblr~ of a weird parasite on a dead fish and a parasitologist found it and asked to report it as the species has never been seen in my area before.
There is so, so much out there we literally don’t even know. And the best way to find that stuff out is to be intensely curious about everything you see. You might not discover a new species but you absolutely will gain a deeper appreciation for the world around you.
