Stepping or step dancing is “a percussive dance in which the participant’s body is used to produce complex rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, spoken word, and hand-claps,” writes the African American Registry.

Step has its origins in Africa, as dancing has been a large part of traditional African culture for centuries.

Calling Step a "bizarre silent dance without music" has to be one of the wilder antiblack racist descriptions I've ever heard of stepping lmao. Anyway if you see the video, it's step!!! They're stepping!! It's a Black American form of dance!!

oh hey btw, apparently tumblr mobile now has an option to report ads for having flashing lights, if you click the three dots in the top right corner it should show up. not sure how long thats been there but i dont remember it being there at least a few months back, i would venture to guess it came with the recent update but shrug. fucking ridiculous that they cant just not put flashing ads in our faces in the first place, but at least this is an option.

Unpopular opinion: All games should have the option to enable pausing.

And to save almost everywhere.

Yes even in soulslike games.

I am an adult who has a full time job and responsibilities. I get to play maybe an hour a week. I do not want to lose that hour of progress because devs decided 'pause' was not allowed in their game and I had sudden unexpected things come up that meant I had to quit the game without saving/leave it playing and hope enemies wouldn't respawn.

Also it would massively increase accessability. I have fully working non-injured hands and they still need a break after a tough boss fight. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for people with joint pain, arthritis, etc, etc.

A while back I made a Kirby lore Powerpoint to try and explain the plot of the games to my friends. And now, finally, after all this time, I'm making it available to the public.

Have you ever wanted to get into the series but didn't know where to start? Well, you're in luck! I've surmised the entire franchise in release order, hidden lore and all.

Of course, I am just one person. Take everything I say with a grain of salt. Kirby lore is surprisingly complex. But if you're looking for a starting point, then this is it. I've tried my best to explain everything from a relatively neutral and objective position. When things are left ambiguous, I've tried my best to clarify that. Although if you have any corrections on anything, then I'm more than willing to listen.

I hope everyone enjoys and gets some use out of this silly little project.
