do sam fans realize that the way they act actively makes people dislike sam more and more or?
They temporarily lose the ability to read when anything threatens their collective fragile ego, so no.

I’m not reading all of that. But I am wondering what the actual fuck any of it has to do with SAM KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY LEAVING KEVIN TO DIE WITHOUT SO MUCH AS MAKING A PHONE CALL BECAUSE KEVIN’S LIFE IS THAT DISPOSABLE TO HIM

why do so many sam fans seem to think that everyone else is under some kind of obligation to make sure they're interpreting the show the exact same way so as not to upset their delicate sensibilities........... as opposed to it being their own responsibility to not seek out content that will upset them???

I've been reading your blog for a while and I am still trying to figure out why you trigger the other side so much. Anything you write about Jared (or his fans mostly) is always in response to people sending you links and so many of those are to those blogs that talk about YOU. You arent the instigator but someone found your blog and for whatever reason you really made an enemy there. Does that bother or worry you?
It absolutely doesn't bother or worry me. One thing younger people should learn at a very early age is it doesn't fucking matter if there are people who don't like you because there are ALWAYS going to be people who don't like you.
Also, that some rando on the internet who has a raging hate boner for actors I like exists means very little to me. Especially given that their circle is so small compared to our community here. I learned a long time ago not only to not care if people liked me but also to disregard people* who seem to make it their life's work to be miserable. Walker-Girl and that circle of nastiness? You don't excuse that kind of misery online without it being something in your real life. If I hold any emotion for those people, it's pity. Because it must be terrible to be so truly miserable.
*As you know, sometimes disregarding them is difficult because some of the stupidity and/or nastiness that comes out of there needs to be acknowledged if only to stomp it out. But like everyone else, I'm a work in progress, non.

Maybe I’m just petty but it highly amuses me when they completely miss the point and thus look… well…
It’s part of the schtick that goes with the other videos! Misha didn’t say California when he talked about Burbank and Jensen corrected him, then there was “that’s Ohio, Mish” one and now this one.
Shoutout to this tweet from one of the CE handlers: https://x.com/__kielizabeth/status/1783908605311520807?s=46 — obviously everyone was having fun messing around!
That’s a great tweet from the handler, thank you for including it!
They know it’s a joke. They just like to pretend they don’t because Jensen looking bored with Misha fits their fucked up narrative.

BROKE: the noldor were wrong in wanting to leave valinor
WOKE: the noldor were right in wanting to leave valinor
BESPOKE: the valar were wrong to bring the elves to valinor in the first place
This is said because the invitation given to the Eldar to remove to Valinor and live unendangered by Melkor was not in fact according to the design of Eru. It arose from anxiety, and it might be said from failure in trust of Eru, from anxiety and fear of Melkor, and the decision of the Eldar to accept the invitation was due to the overwhelming effect of their contact, while still in their inexperienced youth, with the bliss of Aman and the beauty and majesty of the Valar. It had disastrous consequences in diminishing the Elves of Middle-earth and so depriving Men of a large measure of the intended help and teaching of their “elder brethren”, and exposing them more dangerously to the power and deceits of Melkor. Also since it was in fact alien to the nature of the Elves to live under protection in Aman, and not (as was intended) in Middle-earth, one consequence was the revolt of the Noldor.
Nature of Middle-earth, chapter 12: The Knowledge of the Valar, footnote 3.
i saw some discussion of the Valar the other day and i wanted to bring this to people's attention. i found this fascinating and almost a little shocking when i first read it and i need people to lose their minds over it with me.
i love it because it perfectly matches the way i see the valar, as loving figures who fail to understand the children of iluvatar, leading to great tragedy. however, until reading this, it never even occurred to me that this interpretation was even close to the way tolkien saw them at any point in his life.

We all know Fëanor as “the guy obsessed with his Silmarils” but it’s quite something to remember that when he first discovered Morgoth had ransacked his house, he wasn’t even thinking about how the Silmarils were most likely stolen. He immediately searched the debris not for the jewels, but for his dad.

Do you dislike Sam in general?
I think most of my followers dislike Sam more than I actually do. I enjoy some of Sam's qualities. I think he typically carries a sense of hopefulness that can be endearing. I actually enjoy some of his more ruthless moments and his moral flexibility. Unfortunately, fandom prefers to sand away the aspects of Sam that I like to rewrite him into a wilting cardboard cut out Mary Sue with no autonomy, being perpetually abused by his simple-minded ogre of a brother.
While stripping away every aspect of Sam that's actually interesting or enjoyable, his fans buy directly into his absolute worst quality—his tendency to shift blame—as the reality of his experiences instead of a manipulative practice he engages in to avoid taking responsibility for his own choices when they backfire. Basically, his fans love to remind me of his most unlikeable traits while yanking away anything interesting about him because it's too unpalatable and doesn't feed into their Helpless Victim Sam aesthetic.
I used to try and be nice when deflecting these unbelievably warped perceptions of Sam and his and Dean's relationship, but about a year ago, I decided I didn't care to coddle people's deluded views of their faves anymore while they spewed endless wellsprings of ridiculous accusations at my favorite character (and called me an abuse apologist if I didn't uncritically absorb their flagrantly hypocritical, biased, boring, and ill-formed takes). My online experience has continuously improved since.

“If it isn't Jensen starring in his own show, it's not all that impressive.”
Jared stans will never understand that being the biggest name on the bill is not everyone’s goal (nor should it be). Some people want to collaborate with as many other creatives and artists they admire and respect and enjoy working with as possible.
That said, is it more impressive to land the role of Elphaba in a local theatre production of Wicked or to get cast as Nessa on Broadway? 🤷
Ooh you’re speaking my language with your comparison! 👍🏼
I agree completely.
