Sabrina in AntiBug vs Confrontation.
Tumblr media
Both of these episodes involve a fight between Chloe and Sabrina. In Antibug, the events were
1. Chloe and Sabrina were playing a game.
2. Chloe saw famous people and wanted to speak with them instead.
3. Sabrina wanted to go back to their game.
4. Sabrina on accident or not, confirmed Chloe was Lying.
5. Chloe was upset with her and didn’t want to speak to with her.
Tumblr media
In Confrontation, Chloe had a new friend Lila and they wanted to lie about other students. Sabrina didn’t like it and so she warned Marinette and They made a plan.
A plan where Chloe and Lila would be tricked into admitting it in a fake restroom after Sabrina said they did in the classroom. Then the next day and episode, Sabrina would sit next to someone else instead of Chloe.

How Ironic and how the tables have turned.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Someone else already pointed out something about Marinette’s luck charms in Werepapas. They were trying to ask her to get help and/or talk to people.
Earlier, Marinette kept trying to help her allies when they didn’t need her. Now, She did not go to get anyone’s help despite multiple lucky charms asking her to do it.
1. The teapot, which likely refers to Fu or The Guardians.
2. A Fan. Likely asking for Felix. The cousin of Adrien whose amoks appear to have been broken, and the Peacock Miraculous holder.B
3. I think a Rolled up Towel or rolled up mat, likely referring to Kim.
4. A Unicycle referring to Alya. (The first time she became Rena Rouge.)
5. A Shield likely refers to Nino and Carapance’s shield powers. (Adrien’s best friend.)
6. A scarf, referring to Adrien. (Since they were his amoks and he should have a say in how his amoks are handled.)
This was also a problem earlier when she kept Adrien and Chat Noir in the dark about stuff, including important stuff.
I wonder if Marinette is going to have an arc about this where she learns to talk about her secrets more and starts asking others for help.
It’s kinda ironic since back in season 4, Adrien was somewhat jealous of her asking others for help and Felix was the second choice despite what happened the last time a miraculous seemed to ask her to go to him.
I think The Guardians were supposed to explain if it’s possible to safely break an amok or If Marinette was supposed to try talking Adrien’s grandmother down and if Felix was supposed to give approval to speak to more people about the senti secret.
Unless it’s supposed to show how Marinette’s desire to not tell Adrien anything or preserve his feelings outweighs anything else.

Miraculous holders and their parents.
Has anyone else noticed how there’s a connection between many of the kids miraculouses and their families?
Marinette = Création. Her parents own a bakery and her Kwami eats sweets.
Adrien = Destruction. His father was the big bad and eventually he succumbed to the effects. In general, His family members tend to be crazy.
Kagami = Perfection. Her mother wants her to be perfect. Though I’m not sure if there’s more.
Felix = Émotion. Colt was abusive because he could not control his feelings and Felix was born because of the peacock miraculous.
Max = Teleportation. His mother is a traveler who went to space.
Chloe/Zoe = Subjection. Audrey is a control freak and Andre was a mayor who abused his authority.
Sabrina = Fetching. Her father is a police officer whose job it is to catch criminals and handle stolen items. Together Her father arrests thieves while She can recover the stolen items.
Luka = Second Chances. His parents split and he ended up forgiving Jagged.
Any others?

Emilie, Amelie, Adrien and Felix: Two generations of Mistreatment.
First Generation: Emilie and Amelie.
Tumblr media
Emil was a awful husband to Milly and an awful parent as well. Seeing his children as just heirs, being disgusted with commoners to the point of trying to make sure Gabriel’s parents have nothing to do with Adrien, never respecting his wife and even putting Amelie in an arranged marriage with an abusive man just because he was rich.
As adults, Neither of their daughters wanted much to do with them. Emilie only reluctantly accepting because she wanted a child and while never outright stated, I strongly suspect that Emil told Gabriel to cut off contact with his family.
Gabriel behaves similarly to Emil, which Emilie didn’t want to see. Instead She would always justify or downplay it. To her, Gabriel was her Hero who helped free her from her toxic father.
Felix also behaves badly at times and Amelie never disciplines him. Amelie doesn’t want to be like her father and husband. Additionally Felix is the only one left who isn’t neglectful or abusive to Amelie. (Amelie does make multiple comments that make me wonder if She and Gabriel were ever friends.)
Second Generation: Adrien and Felix.
Tumblr media
Growing up, Adrien and Felix both had awful fathers and didn’t see their grandparents much. However they would hear different tales.
Adrien heard a downplayed version, which was their grandparents loved other things more. He grew up being taught/assured that Gabriel did love him no matter how neglectful he acts. This would also transfer to how Adrien treats relationships In general.
However Felix heard everything. Felix admired Emilie’s rebellious nature and standing up for what she believed in. Felix is also well aware that He is the only one in Amelie’s life, which Gabriel uses to threaten Felix in Gabriel Agreste. Felix also grew up being taught not to have friends or anything.
Where Marinette and Kagami come in.
Tumblr media
During the play, Felix and Kagami played multiple people. These people are their foils.
It’s not a coincidence that Amelie was portrayed by Felix while Kagami played Colt. Felix naturally wants to portray his mother of course, but also Similar to Colt, Kagami would feel jealous and angry, but unlike Colt, Kagami doesn’t want to allow it to turn her into an abusive person.
Marinette has multiple parallels to Adrien’s family, which Adrien once even pointed out. However unlike Gabriel, Marinette Won’t become a bad person because of it.
Both Adrien and Felix ended up with girls like their awful parents but unlike their parents at the same time. The people who Their parents should have been more like.

Not sure if anyone noticed this yet but Felix’s and Kagami’s positions in their civilian forms are reversed In the intro and the ending.
In the former, Felix is The one on the left with his hands crossed while in the latter, it’s Kagami. In the former, Kagami is facing away from the viewer and to her friends. In the latter, Felix is the one facing away from the viewer, though his eyes do somewhat see Kagami.
This does make sense since Kagami is Felix’s only friend whereas Kagami has several friends.

It’s really interesting how Chloe’s new look makes her resemble bees more. Her design changed to have honeycombs, her hair is more curly and Shes using a teapot, tea of course, can be served with honey.

Understanding why the Fathoms were not around in Werepapas.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some people were surprised by the Fathoms absence during the custody battle but the thing is; They probably didn’t know or were even invited.
Back in Felix’s story in Representation, It’s visually implied that Emil and Milly liked the children but not each other. When speaking, Emil’s character often speaks as though he just sees his children and grandchildren as an extension of himself and the family’s grandness in general.
Their names even imply this. Emilie, the first born, Her name seems an awful lot like Emil and Amelie is similar to Emilie.
Growing up, Emilie was curious and rebellious while Amelie was more obedient, even reluctantly accepting the arranged marriage with Colt.
Emilie is aware of her father being toxic, which I suspect is partly why She pitied Amelie in the story, Emilie was aware of Emil’s toxicness and might’ve suspected Colt’s abuse.
Now that brings us to the custody battle.
Amelie likely doesn’t want to see her parents again and likely believes it’s hopeless to fight against Emil.
Emil and Milly were the ones who arranged the custody battle. With how he saw Emilie and Amelie as extensions of himself, He likely decided The Fathoms presence was redundant, especially since Amelie was often giving in to demands. Additionally He likely didn’t even want to give Amélie a chance to object.

Zoe’s past speculation.
Tumblr media
This guy is blackmailing Zoe with something about her past. Something that she and he doesn’t think her friends will accept.
Remember how back in Sole Crusher, Zoe revealed something about her background.
Tumblr media
Zoe was pretending to be someone she wasn’t, but there was a moment she couldn’t continue. At the time, I assumed she was referring to her unique personality, interests, flaws.
However with the new blackmail, she was likely referring to being a bully and possibly Even being a criminal. However like Sabrina drew the line at Chloe’s and Lila’s plan to mess with their classmates futures, Zoe’s bullying peers likely came up with a plan that was so awful or evil, that she quit. (Given how Shes said to have been friends with Jessica, I wonder if the Heroes were involved in whatever went down)
Back in season 5, The writers were making parallels between Zoe and Marinette, but now there’s more between her and Sabrina.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is potentially part of why, while a little unsure, she managed to quickly mimic Audrey’s and Chloe’s bullying and arrogance, it’s possible that she used to talk like that and she heard her old friends talking that way.
I think I know how Zoe got mixed up with bullies and criminals. According to Audrey, Zoe’s father Mr Lee is always too busy for anyone. Unlike Sabrina’s father, Zoe’s father likely didn’t care about her much. This is probably why he accepted Chloe’s father adopting Zoe, why she was at the boarding school and now Paris, Mr Lee likely just wanted to get rid of her.

Marinette hesitated and was upset/horrified before breaking the rings Since she was presumably afraid that she would be killing Adrien. However no feathers came out, confusing her and then she’s relieved that Adrien is still alive.
So the questions are 1. Where Is the real ring. 2. WHO has it? 3. When Was the ring replaced with a fake?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Amelie and Emilie’s father was angry, causing a ring to roll away, then later, their mother found a ring. But are they the same rings or was the ring replaced at this point offscreen? Or was it a fake the whole entire episode?
The only people who should know about Adrien’s ring being an amok, outside of Marinette and Nathalie, are 1. Lila. 2. Felix, and Amelie if he told her. 3. Kagami. 4. Tomoe.
Did Lila take the ring? Edit, or did Marinette and/or Felix plan something since Fake rings are mostly associated with Felix?

Sonic and Nine: Color contrasts
Blue and Yellow.
Tumblr media
Sonic is blue and that’s his signature color. Nine is orangish and his signature color is Yellow. Nine wears both Blue and Yellow on his outfit.
Green Hills skies are blue, which Sonic told Nine, who proceeded to make the Grim’s Dome blue to copy. The Grim’s skies are normally Green.
With the exception of the Grim, The regulators are normally blue the same as Nine’s eyes. This shows Sonic’s relationship with Nine and that Nine is possessive as the regulators look like eyes, essentially going “I got my eyes on you”.
Blue and Orange/Yellow are complimentary on the color wheel and they become the others signature color when inverted. Which might be coincidence Since this was around for years, but still they are parallels and foils and it shows. (I wonder if this color contrasts is partly why one of Tails’s counterparts was chosen to be Sonic’s foil.)
Yellow and Purple.
Tumblr media
While not as exact as Blue and Yellow/orange, Purple and yellow can still be considered complimentary. (I wonder if this, combined with the time zones, is partly why they decided to retcon The yellow shard staying behind.)
Ghost Hill’s gateway is yellow and so is its shard.
After Shadow showed him ghost Hill and its gateway, Sonic wanted to convince Nine to fix the prism there. Though Nine wanted to fix it in the grim, whose gateway is Purple.
When Nine made the prism in the grim, Ghost Hill got destroyed.
I find Sonic with Yellow, and Nine with purple interesting because of the next part.
Purple and Green.
Tumblr media
While Nine’s signature is Yellow like Tails, Nine is also associated with the color Green. The edges of Nine’s Metal tails are green. When Nine uses prism energy, it’s green. Nine’s communicator is Green. Finally, Nine ended up fixing Green Hill, whose gateway became green.
(Not sure if it’s a coincidence but I think it is interesting how Boscage is the only place where He was brought along the mission to take the shard in the second part.)
Sonic is also associated with Purple. In the Grim, the tech becomes Purple. Sonic’s prism form is purple. In the intro, His name is originally yellow but then glows purple and breaks into shards. (Possibly foreshadowing his giving up his energy in the grim or conflict with Nine)
In the intro in general, the bottom word “Prime” is white, with its sides being Green and Purple.
I find it interesting how in the Grim, both Sonic and Nine came to accept the others world choice, whose color they currently had on their devices.
Which I think is why They could only make up in the Grim. Prior, While Nine’s communicator is green like Sonic’s eyes, and the tech is normally blue like Nine’s eyes, that just symbolizes them being friends and foils.

Here are some interesting contrasts and details I never noticed before.
I know that some people interpreted Nine screaming that he hates Chili dogs as a way that Nine differs from Tails but heres the flaw in that theory. DOES TAILS EVEN LIKE CHILI DOGS IN THIS SHOW?! Heres a challenge. Try finding one clip where Tails or One of his counterparts eats a Chili Dog or an equivalent like a a sea dog.
(Btw if it came from a game or a different show, It doesn’t count. You have to treat the show as it’s own thing for this challenge because this is again debunking the idea that Nine is Tails’s foil.)
Even Sails never ate a sea dog, instead Sonic ate most of them and Catfish and Dread were the ones who started using them as weapons.
Tumblr media
Nine’s citadel is somewhat reminiscent of The Mountain in Green Hill. The mountain where Sonic caused an earthquake to reveal the cave and where Sonic broke the prism.
Which I think is intended Since Nine wanted a world that is similar to Green Hills world and at the time, he had no intentions of leaving or letting anyone else in.
When the decaying started, The Mountain was the first to be destroyed, perhaps as a symbolic consequence of Nine having the Prism in the Citadel and using it to recreate a world thats like Green Hills.
Additionally Ghost Hill and The Grim are the furthest worlds away from each and are both the only worlds that don’t represent a prime color of light.
(Side note: To anyone who still thinks Nine is supposed to be Tails’s foil, rather than Sonic’s, why? The show never makes any parallels or contrasts between them. Even in Speed Simulator, The workers went out of their way to treat Nine as they treat Sonic skins rather than Tails skins, and keep them being foils.)

Escape from the city: Sonic and Nine edition.
Tumblr media
Sonic’s song Escape from The City, sings “No time for guessing, follow my plan instead” and “Trust in what you can’t see.”
Tails’s song Believe in myself contradicts that. “If I just follow you, I will never see the light”. No wonder Sonic and Nine were clashing.
Sonic Prime’s theme is friendship and Sonic’s and Nine’s arcs are based on Trust. Thus why the word “Trust” is often used and associated with them.
Thorn telling Sonic that the scavengers can’t be trusted. The Rebels more than once, telling Sonic that they do not trust him or Nine. Shadow asking Sonic why he should be trusted and later asking how he knew Nine could be trusted. The Chaos Council was not to be trusted. Sonic telling Nine that he temporarily won because the others trusted him and finally, Nine telling everyone that he can be trusted.
Sonic is more impulsive which caused Nine to not trust him. He’s not second guessing since he often decides that they do not have time and is confident that he can overcome what happens.
Tumblr media
The song also sings “Take my lead, I’ll set you free” “Set me free”. This is interesting.
In the last part, everyone had to learn to trust Sonic and he did manage to keep nine away from the others. Eventually when Sonic decided to stop fighting Nine and began defending him against the others as well as allow Nine to drain the energy, Sonic essentially set Nine free from his fate as an antagonist.
Meanwhile Nine decided to let go of his possessiveness, setting Sonic free.
Tumblr media
The song also says to trust and “We will escape from the city” which is a reference to the name of the song.
Back in Escape from New Yoke, the chain of events for the rest of the show began.
Sonic told Nine about the rest of the prism shards and Nine wanted Sonic to grab it. When he vanished, Nine left began looking around, and eventually found the Grim which he liked and preferred over New Yoke city. Meanwhile Sonic kept traveling around until Shadow told him about The Prism blueprint, which could have fixed Green Hill.
Later, Green Hill got fixed because Sonic refused to give up on Nine and Nine was left alone because he obeyed Sonic. Sonic went back to the complete white world while Nine stayed in the purple world in contrast to the red world, and as luck would have it the song also talks about Sonic following the rainbow.
I don’t think these similarities were intended but it sure is interesting.

“If I just follow you, I will never see the light”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s really ironic how back in Adventure, Tails’s song believe in myself expressed belief that he would never see the light if he follows Sonic. Yet as of the Boom series, Whenever Sonic goes to another world, The Tails There behaves differently and was antagonistic at some point due to not following Sonic
The second Alternate Tails worked for Eggman and While he wasn’t that active in the other Eggman’s fighting, (at least it can be implied since nobody knew who he was and He mostly just stared) He did still report Boom Sonic’s presence.
Nine and Him have a couple somewhat similar moments in expressing surprise at Sonic knowing things about them, Them coming around when being helped and expressing disbelief at it, as well as how Sonic behaved. (Their expressions are even somewhat similar.)
Boom Sonic commented that he was sure it was a misunderstanding and refused to give up on him. Meanwhile Prime Sonic originally thought the counterparts were the originals and even after Nine turned against Him, He does still deny a few accusations and helps him out.
But the biggest difference is that while Alt Boom Tails was a mistreated minion/janitor who quickly reformed while Nine originally started out neutral than became worse as he fought with Prime Sonic, and Nine’s arc was about whether or not he wants to follow Sonic and trust him. Prime Sonic even lost a fight due to it since he reminded Nine of how he doesn’t trust him. “They trusted me!”

You know, If Sonic had a ring for each time he gets lost and encounters robot doppelgängers who want to hunt him in New York, he’d have 3 rings, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened thrice, Right?.
It appears that Paramount wants to do a role reversal between Sonic and Amy.
Is it just me or does one of the Metal Sonic’s appear to be a different color? Probably overthinking this.

Blight Family’s appearances symbolism.
Tumblr media
Their hair symbolizes their connections to their parents.
Amity’s hair is naturally brown like her father’s, as she’s The UnFavorite of Odalia. However she had her hair tied up to symbolize that Odalia and Alador was controlling. But when she became older, it was dyed green as Alador was less active in her life and Odalia became more dominant. Then, she dyed her hair purple but still kept some brown to symbolize and foreshadow her cutting Odalia out of her life but not Alador.
Emira and Edric’s hair is a blend. Green like Odalia’s but dark like Alador’s. As their parents were both equally bad parents to them. In the epilogue, Emira’s hair is much shorter. I wonder if similar to Amity’s hair getting dyed, Emira was forced to keep her hair long and in a braid.
However most people already noticed this but there is something else.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Emira, Edric and Amity all have their mother’s nose to symbolize how much Odalia wants to control them and their behavior. However none of them have her eyes because they are all rebellious against her rules.

Sonic and the Fox Bullies.
Aka. Why Nine refused to listen to Sonic until the finale. Since fans don’t understand him. Just like Sonic’s implied to be comparing Nine to Eggman, Nine’s been doing the same thing with Sonic and the bullies.
Fighting little kids 4 vs 1.
Tumblr media
Back in Grim Tidings, instead of dealing with Nine by himself, he came with Shadow. Please note. At this time, Sonic didn’t know that Nine made robots. One Robot came out and Nine told Sonic that he would be fighting on his own, 1 vs 1. Sonic is sad, even though in Nine’s eyes, he has no reason to be since how is that not a fair fight? Then he gladly allows Shadow to help him and they easily win because it was now 2 vs 1.
In Dome Sweet Dome, Sonic arrived in New Yoke with the intention of asking the Rebels to help him with Nine. Nine told Sonic he was alone, and when everyone came to help him, Sonic replied with “What’s that you said about me being alone” and he was fine with the Chaos Council helping him despite all of the terrible things they did.
Later, Sonic teamed up with everyone and Nine believes that Sonic sent everyone to attack. (Sonic unfortunately wasn’t helping his case.) At this point in time, there were no duplicates of the robots. So it was everyone in all of the shatterspaces, plus Sonic vs 1 Nine and 1 of each of Nine’s alpha grim robots. Sonic even pointed out that Nine was outnumbered. (Which ended up backfiring because Nine decided to teach/remind Sonic and his allies what it’s like to be outnumbered.)
Has anyone wondered why Nine calmed down when everyone came to the citadel. It’s because for the first time, Sonic was fine dealing with Nine by himself, Sonic didn’t allow anyone to help him or hurt Nine and he doesn’t taunt Nine about how he received help.
It’s Over Nine!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Fox bullies often were mean to Nine for having more than one tail, which is something that he had no control over.
Sonic was mad at Nine for 1. Claiming ownership of the Prism, even though Nine has just as much, if not, more, legal claim over It as he does. 2. Sending the robot, and 3. Destroying Ghost Hill.
Thing is, Nine technically has more legal claim over the Prism than Sonic does. If Sonic’s going to call Nine a Thief, he has to also acknowledge that he’s the one who taught Nine that stealing is okay or at least allowed Nine to believe it and that he’s also a thief. Remember Nine found the Grim’s shard on his own and the Red shard literally created Nine. Sonic was never given permission to use the shards for anything. Additionally they both took the shards from the Chaos Council.
Also Nine believes that Sonic meant that his plan was to fix the Prism in the Grim.
In Grim Tidings, Sonic arrived in the Grim with the full intention of stealing the Prism and beating Nine up if Nine doesn’t agree to his demands. Remember Nine doesn’t know Ghost Hill broke. As far as Nine’s aware, as soon as he fixes The Grim, Ghost Hill would also be fixed. Remember Nine’s exact words were that after he takes Sonic’s energy, He will have the power to Fix everything.
Later Nine believes Sonic’s deal with him was a trick to get him to lower his guard while everyone else invades the Grim and attacks him. Before that, Nine only targeted others because in Nine’s eyes, Sonic was making it difficult to go after him directly and without endangering anyone else.
Yet Sonic would more than once, say “It’s Over Nine!” Despite how in Nine’s eyes, Sonic’s the one who seemingly starts nearly every single fight.
While Nine did speed up the decaying it was an accident and Nine only went along with the destruction because he saw no reason why he shouldn’t since in Nine’s eyes, every time he does something nice, Sonic takes advantage of his kindness.

What Sonic Prime took from Sonic X.
Cosmo.
Tumblr media
Sonic’s story in Prime is pretty similar to Cosmo’s. (Also Sidenote. Cosmo’s design is pretty much Sonic’s except reversed.)
Both of them are among the last of their kinds.
Both of them got hunted down for why they survived while others didn’t. Shadow tried killing Cosmo for spying while Sonic was hunted down for his energy. (Which I will get into.)
Cosmo’s main relationship is with Tails and Sonic’s main one is with Nine, who is one of Tails’s counterparts.
Sonic’s main friends were based on Cosmo’s closest friends. For Cosmo, they are Amy, Tails, Chris, Knuckles and Cream. For Sonic, it’s Thorn, Rusty, Nine, and Dread. (But this one may just be coincidence since they are game characters and there’s no Cream, though that can be argued since in Prime, Birdie appears to be Amy’s pet like how Cheese is Cream’s pet and Froggy is Big’s)
When Shadow was hunting down Cosmo, everyone began protecting her and insisted on staying by her side when she wanted to run away from everyone. Which is more or less what happens when Nine targets Sonic.
Despite this, Cosmo ended up dying anyway and Nine got Sonic’s energy anyway and used it exactly as he would in the beginning. Although if Cosmo died earlier, they might not have been able to save everyone and Nine might not have fixed Green Hill and Sonic might have died if he got Sonic earlier. (Though that can be argued since it was heavily implied that fixing The Grim would have also fixed Green Hill.)
Both of them are too kind for their own good.
Cosmo was only in the last season of Sonic X, which had roughly 26 episodes and Sonic Prime has 25 episodes with one being double length. (Though this one is a stretch.)
Tails was reluctant to kill Cosmo but ended up doing so. While mad, Nine originally only targeted Sonic for his energy and when he calmed down, He no longer stated that Sonic’s energy was needed and only took the energy after Sonic convinced him.
Cosmo couldn’t remember much about what happened and neither could Sonic.
Chris.
Tumblr media
Nine’s story is sort of like Chris’s. (Though Nine is more angsty)
Chris asked if his parents would return quickly from their jobs if he behaved himself and he believed them. However they didn’t, causing him to feel neglected. Nine did everything Sonic ever asked him to do no matter how much pain and torture he went through, believing that Sonic would like the Grim and hang out with him as Sonic said he would, but Sonic completely forgot about it and doesn’t listen much in general, leading Nine to feel neglected and ignored.
In the second Season’s finale, Chris stopped Sonic from going back to his world even though it would put everyone, including himself in danger. Nine didn’t want Sonic in Green Hill and In his attempt to fix the Grim, he accidentally sped up the decaying and in his quest to capture Sonic, Nine ended up endangering everyone more. (Though in Chris’s case, he didnt think much about what would happen whereas in Nine’s case, reality disappearing was why he was attacking.)
Both have an attachment to Sonic, which their shows are about.
Both were based on Tails.
Design wise, Nine does have red, which must symbolize something. (Since if not, Why not replace the red with Black, Yellow or Blue?) Red happens to be the color of Chris’s shirt.
Both were Sonic’s first friend in a new world.
In most finales of Sonic X, Sonic and Chris were supposed to leave each other. Each arc In Prime, ends with Sonic and Nine saying goodbye.
Both can be quite immature.
Chris accused Eggman of causing the problems that meant Sonic has to leave because he wanted a reason for Sonic to stay. During Part 3, more than once, Nine reminds Sonic that the Chaos Council were the ones who started the decaying.
Seeing Chris injured as well as Cosmo, caused Sonic to transform into Dark Sonic while with fake emeralds. In the cave, Nine used the Prism energy to transform Sonic into Prismatic Sonic. Both transformations only appeared once.
Amy.
Tumblr media
During Sonic Prime, Sonic is more like Amy than his Game Counterpart.
Sonic mistakes the counterparts for each other, though he later changes it to them being similar to each other even though Game Sonic had seen counterparts of his friends before. Amy often mistakes other hedgehogs for Sonic.
Amy is really affectionate and often wants to hug others, especially Sonic. In Prime, Sonic is really affectionate and wants to be friends with everyone and often tries hugging others, to their annoyance. (Though Nine did eventually initiate a hug.)
Amy has reformed antagonists and so does Sonic in Prime. Pretty much everyone in Prime wanted to attack Sonic at some point. (Although in X, Amy’s speech to Shadow was given to Chris.)
Both Amy in X and Sonic in Prime can get really excited.
Shadow.
Tumblr media
Nine’s arc is also somewhat similar to Shadow’s.
Design wise, Most of Nine’s clothes and stuff are black like Shadow’s fur. (Though he also has yellow and blue to symbolize Tails and Sonic and red, possibly to symbolize Chris.) Shadow’s quills stick in the opposite direction of Sonic’s and Nine’s hair usually faces himself, unlike Tails’s hair, which faces away.
Shadow calls Sonic a faker and doesn’t like being compared to him. Similarly Nine dislikes being compared to Tails and doesn’t like his resemblance to Sails or Mangey.
Both of them were going to let the world disappear until they received a speech. In Shadow’s case, the speech reminded him of Maria whereas in Nine’s case, Sonic reminded Nine of what he originally wanted and planned.
Shadow wanted to target Cosmo after finding out that she was spying on everyone. Nine wanted to hunt Sonic down after realizing that his energy was needed to stop the decaying.
They both endangered and attacked others in their attempts to get to their targets.
They are both dark foils to Sonic. (And to a lesser extent, Tails.)
Shadow’s fate is unclear at the end of X, similarly Nine’s fate is up to interpretation.
Shadow did originally allow Tails to be left alone if he allowed him to get to Cosmo. Nine did originally mostly focus on Sonic and only attacked Shadow because Shadow wanted to help Sonic.
Even in Prime, Nine and Shadow have similar dialogue and actions.
Sonic and Tails.
Tumblr media
There are elements from X that are similar to Sonic and Nine and Tails in Prime.
Both of their meetings were similar and based on how Sonic and Tails met in the games. (Except in Nine’s case, Sonic had Tails’s role while he had Sonic’s role.)
Even Sonic’s flashback, while similar, it’s not a perfect match to how Sonic and Tails met in the games.
In his grief, Tails blamed Sonic for Cosmo’s death, screaming that he believed in him. Meanwhile in his insanity, Nine blames Sonic entirely for his villain arc and everything that he did.
We never got to see Sonic and Tails reconciling, instead Sonic only has flashbacks and declares that they will work together again when Chris leaves Sonic’s world. Similarly we barely see Sonic speaking to the prime characters.
