The 2026 Osamu Tezuka calendar is now listed on some Japanese websites with a release date of October 11, 2025.

The theme of this calendar is "four-character idioms", with "character" referring to Japanese kanji.

From Rakuten's website:

Following on from last year, the "2026 Tezuka Osamu Calendar" will feature the theme of "four-character idioms." Japan has a wealth of linguistic wisdom that has been passed down through the ages.
