Wow. I didn't realize that Frozen removed POC from the story. That's not fair at all.

Honestly, Disney changing the story to begin with is not fair. People try to talk about Frozen being so “feminist”, but The Snow Queen is maybe one of the most women positive fairy tales ever. You have a young girl who goes by herself to save her best friend, a boy, from the villianess who wishes to keep him under her control forever. Along the way, she’s helped by other women as well as animals and she wins the day with her love and kindness. And, might I add that there is no romance, especially not between her and the boy?

Disney was doing a straight adaptation of this story (though even at that stage it looks like they erased the characters of color), but because of story changes, animation changes (it was going to be hand-drawn at first), etc, they watered it down a lot. Even the earlier incarnations of the Frozen story line were much more progressive and interesting that what we see in the movie.

2 reasons Fall Out Boy is incredible.

1) When their label told them to shorten the titles of their songs, they did… by taking out all of the vowels and shortening a song title to “Thnks fr th Mmrs.”

2) They have a song titled “Our Lawyer Made Us Change the Name of This Song so We Wouldn’t Get Sued.”
