Hello friends, welcome to my portfolio!

Before I begin I would just like to give a disclaimer that this portfolio might change your entire perception of me so proceed with caution if you do not wish to open up your mind a little to all that I am about to share.

Hi, my name is Yuting and I would like to think I’m not an ordinary person at all. I don’t always aim to stand out from the crowd but I just never liked idea of having to fit into people’s mold of what I should be like. For starters, my hogwarts house is ravenclaw, I am an infp and my moral alignment is chaotic good.

Because I like things pretty and I am a perfectionist, i took inspiration for this portfolio from Conan gray as I photo edit and binge watch his youtube channel c: his personality is quite similar to mine and I really admire him a lot!! he is an AMAZING artist & sings well. As a bonus, he can also write his own songs and he is studying in UCLA right now, which is a university that I really look up to :”)

I love to dance & love watching other people dance but I dislike muscle cramps

My best genres are street jazz, k-pop & urban

I love contemporary and electro shuffle but am absolutely horrible at them

I also chase sunsets! they’re like little rewards waiting at the end of each day. be it a good or bad day, they’re always there :”)

So apart from being an avid photo editor, I also do videography in my free time because music + aesthetics are a great combo! At the same time, do realise that I have a lot of ‘useless’ talents because for some reason I just manage to pick up skills easily.

And I love philosophy too. I literally am not me without it. I’m always in for thought-provoking & intellectual discussions because it opens up my mind to a whole other world.

There was once i chanced upon a list of over 200+ discussions at 12 midnight and well, what do you expect? Can’t sleep ‘til 4am? Absolutely right! 

*internally screaming*

Because visual-spatial intelligence is my number one talent, I absolutely love museums and art galleries as well as collecting tickets. I also write journal entries in my free time, just so you know where all the tickets go. I just like to have my precious memories recorded down because I am a really nostalgic and sentimental soul who loves to look back on greater days for hope and horrible days for strength. I’m into the arts but not artsy enough?

But the most important of all, I love music. I cannot go a day without listening to songs. I mean just look at all the music references in this portfolio :”) i listen to a lot of genres: rock, ballad, pop, hip hop, r&b, indie and lofi-hiphop if it counts. contrary to popular belief, i actually hate edm. wanna recommendation? girl got you covered :D u can drop an anonymous recommendation for me too
